We\u2019ve also been seeing how the British, and honestly the rest of the Eurotrash governments, have been trying to impose their rules on American companies, especially with regards to Free Speech. There have been outright threats by British law enforcement to arrest Americans for violating their \u201cSpeech codes.\u201d That has gone over about as well as you would expect.<\/p>\n

The Labour Party, under Kier Starmer managed to win the last election over the Conservative Party, (The Tories), because the Tories weren\u2019t dealing with the immigration issues the way they claimed they would. Now why the British electorate thought that Labour would be any better is beyond me. Now protests are really starting to ramp up and a new party is growing in popularity. One of the items being used in the protests is the British flag, the Union Jack. This is setting off the \u201cUsual Suspects\u201d and they aren\u2019t happy. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n England\u2019s distinctive red-and-white St. George\u2019s Cross and iconic Union Jack flags are making a comeback across the United Kingdom, with supporters calling the resurgence patriotic while critics in the media warn it shows extremism, echoing MAGA-like culture wars across the pond. <\/b><\/p>\n The dispute over the flag is the latest symbol of Britain\u2019s political discourse, with Reform UK and Nigel Farage invoking U.S. President Donald Trump-style<\/a> populism to rally Englishmen. <\/b><\/p>\n “Operation Raise the Colours” has called for people to put their flags up where they live and in their everyday lives to rally Britons. The online movement is encouraging people to continue putting up England St. George’s Cross and Union Jack flags. <\/b><\/p>\n “Raise The Colours!” wrote MP for Newark, U.K. and Shadow Lord Chancellor Robert Jenrick on X. “While Britain-hating councils take down our own flags, we raise them up. We must be one country, under the Union Flag.” <\/b><\/p>\n This all started when two city councils in England, Tower Hamlets and Birmingham City Council, decided to take down the flags that people had put up to demonstrate their patriotism. This is something that the Left in Europe truly despises. Anything that smacks of belief in one\u2019s country.<\/p>\n Some left-leaning outlets describe the campaign as zealousness, not patriotism. The Guardian cautioned<\/a> the campaign “may offer cover for far-right agendas.” <\/b><\/p>\n One woman who spoke on the condition of anonymity in BBC’s reporting<\/a> described how the campaigners marked a crosswalk with red crosses to look like the St. George’s flag as “pointless” and said it came across as “very racist.” <\/b><\/p>\n This is a major problem with England. Far to many people have forgotten what it\u2019s like to be patriotic and supportive of their nation. A major reason for this is the unfettered immigration from primarily Islamic countries and the blind terror they give anyone if someone stands up to them. Police will actively go after British citizens who just look cross-eyed immigrants and have proven they will do nothing when those same immigrants, (And I think a lot of them may not be there legally, but I have no information on this), literally rape English teenage girls.<\/p>\n A YouGov poll in June<\/a> showed Reform UK party would be Britain\u2019s largest political party if a general election were held. Farage is a long-standing ally of the president and in February hailed Trump’s victory as “an inspiration”. <\/b><\/p>\n The Reform Party grew out of the Brexit party that Nigel Farage founded. After Brexit, Farage stepped aside and was planning to basically retire. However, the idiots in the Conservative Party and the Communist lunatics in the Labour Party seemed dead set on destroying Britain, so he returned to public life and transformed the Brexit Party into the Reform Party. In many ways, they aren\u2019t unlike the people who support President Trump in Making America Great Again.<\/p>\n Historically overshadowed by the Union Jack until the 1990s, St. George’s Cross flags now dominate at sports events.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n I can\u2019t comment on that since I have only a basic knowledge<\/a> of the St. George\u2019s Cross flag. When I think of the British flag, like generally all Americans, I think of the Union Jack.<\/p>\n YouGov polling<\/a> also shows a majority favorable toward flying the St. George\u2019s Cross, but a sizable minority view it negatively.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n Again, I don\u2019t know what the demographics are over in the formally Great Britain and don\u2019t know how people see the two flags, especially the St. George\u2019s flag.<\/p>\n A higher majority shows support for the Union Jack, Scotland’s St. Andrew’s Cross and Wales’ The Red Dragon over the St. George’s Cross. <\/b><\/p>\n Again, I\u2019ll say OK. Whatever floats the few boats the Brits have left.<\/p>\n The row over England\u2019s flag is set to intensify ahead of local and national elections, with councils deciding whether to allow the banners. <\/b><\/p>\n Now that election should be interesting. British elections are very different from American elections. People are generally voting for the party, more than for the person. If the polls are accurate, it\u2019s quite possible that there may be a blowout in favor of the Reform party at the local level as well as the parliamentarian level. (The British version of our Congress)<\/p>\n From what little I know, and it\u2019s not that much, the Reform party is not just eating into the Conservative Party, they are devouring them. The Labour party under Starmer is very unpopular, or so I am given to understand, with what amounts to a national case of \u201cBuyer\u2019s Remorse.\u201d If the Reform Party does eventually take control, I think it will send shock waves all across Western Europe.
