Good day all. Recently, I posted a story about<\/a> how the Government unions were judge shopping to stop the Trump administration from laying off federal employees. They found a Clinton judge that was more than happy to overstep her authority and issue the Temporary Restraining Order, (TRO) to do just that.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

The unions appear to have thought they had won their case, but it appears that at least one agency is continuing their preparations to lay off federal workers. Here are the details from the Epoch Times<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

After a federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration\u2019s plans to initiate mass layoffs during the government shutdown, a union that filed the lawsuit said in court papers that the Department of the Interior (DOI) is planning to issue reduction-in-force notices next week. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In court papers filed<\/a> on Thursday, American Federation of Government Employees\u2019 attorney Danielle Leonard claimed that \u201cmultiple credible sources\u201d said the Interior Department is scheduled to issue layoff notices on Monday, Oct. 20. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThis immediately raised concerns regarding compliance with this Court\u2019s order,\u201d Leonard wrote in a declaration submitted to U.S. District Judge Susan Illston, who had blocked the layoff plan on Wednesday. <\/b><\/p>\n

First, the order is illegal. The judge has zero authority to block the layoffs. Second, there is no money to pay these bureaucrats. Thirds, the union\u2019s standing to ask for this TRO is highly questionable. Finally, the Supreme Court is going to once again slap down yet another Democrat judge.<\/p>\n

When the union asked lawyers for the government about the notices, an attorney with the Department of Justice (DOJ) said in an email that \u201cconsistent with the Court\u2019s order, we will produce the required information tomorrow,\u201d according to the court papers. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Personally, I want the \u201cRequired information\u201d to contain the phrase, \u201cYou have issued your opinion, now try and enforce it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Interior Department did not immediately respond to an Epoch Times request for comment. <\/b><\/p>\n

I suspect they were to busy determining who they really don\u2019t need and adding them to the Reduction In Force list.<\/p>\n

Leonard also said that the union is seeking to add additional groups to the case in a bid to block the possible firings on Monday. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIn light of the risk of impending mass terminations at DOI, however, and Defendants\u2019 refusal to disclose whether DOI will issue [reduction in force notices] and if so how they will ensure compliance with the TRO, Plaintiffs will file their motion for leave to file an amended complaint, to add as plaintiffs additional unions representing employees at DOI (and other affected agencies), along with an emergency request to expand the TRO to protect the employees that those unions represent, tomorrow morning,\u201d the motion said, referring to the judge\u2019s temporary restraining order. <\/b><\/p>\n

They can\u2019t stop the layoffs. Their is no money to pay them, and when that happens in the \u201cDreaded Private Sector,\u201d people are let go. I will not be at all surprised if this idiot moonbat judge not only issues an order to stop all RIF\u2019s, but also order that all pay and benefits continue.<\/p>\n

Illston cited a post<\/a> made by Trump on Truth Social in which he said he was meeting with his budget director, Russell Vought, on Oct. 2 to discuss which Democrat-supported agencies to target. <\/b><\/p>\n

That isn\u2019t at all surprising. The Democrat supported agencies are both constitutionally questionable and generally nothing more then another source of graft for them.<\/p>\n

Before her order, Vought told a podcast host that he would likely be initiating more layoffs and forecast that as many as 10,000 federal workers could be terminated during the shutdown. Court papers filed<\/a> in the case last week by the Justice Department revealed that around 4,100 federal employees received layoff notices since the shutdown was initiated on Oct. 1. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019ll get much higher,\u201d Vought said. \u201cI think we\u2019ll probably end up being somewhere north of 10,000.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The White House believes that, as usual, the TRO will be overturned. Karoline Leavitt said that this is the second time this clown of a judge has done this and has already been overturned before.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis judge tried to say that the president of the United States does not have the executive authority to hire and fire in the executive branch,\u201d Leavitt told reporters.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd of course, the Supreme Court rejected that ruling in July, and they said, \u2018No, the president does have the ability and the legal authority to fire people from the federal government. That is a responsibility of his job as the head of the executive branch.’\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Not according to all the Democrat judges. As far as they\u2019re concerned, presidents are nothing more than figureheads and that the judges are the actual rulers of the United States. The one exception is when the Democrats are in control, then anything they do is just fine. It\u2019s reached the point where far to many of these judges are an actual threat to the United States.<\/p>\n

Far to many, mostly on the left, but a few on the right, aren\u2019t even trying to uphold the Constitution. It even reaches into the Supreme Court. Kagan, Sotomayor and Jackson Brown aren\u2019t even trying to pretend they\u2019re on the bench for any reason other then to advance the goals of the Democrat Party. It\u2019s long past time to make a few examples out of these black robed tyrants. They need to be removed from the bench and jailed. As far as I\u2019m concerned, they are actively working to overthrow the elected government of the United States. Arrest a few on insurrection charges and let the chips fall where they may.<\/p>\n

A federal judge in San Francisco on Tuesday indefinitely barred the Trump administration from firing federal employees during the government shutdown, saying that labor unions were likely to prevail on their claims that the cuts were arbitrary and politically motivated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No actually, they won’t “Prevail.” You will be slapped down by SCOTUS as has every other Democrat judge in the last 9 months since President Trump’s glorious return to the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

U.S. District Judge Susan Illston granted a preliminary injunction that bars the firings while a lawsuit challenging them plays out. She had previously issued a temporary restraining order against the job cuts that was set to expire Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That is just another illegal order by a crooked leftwing judge. It’s also being ignored. What Illston is saying is that if you work for the United States Government you can never be fired. Wrong. Illston needs to be added to the list of judges who need to be removed from the bench, preferably by impeachment, but if the evidence warrants, indictment and arrest. In any case, her order should be flat out ignored and the DoJ should flat out tell her to stuff it in court.<\/p>\n
