Good day all Once again Govno Hair Gel Newsom and the Kalifornistan Democrats are virtue signaling with other people\u2019s money. A bill to set up Reparations for the descendants of slaves was recently signed into law.<\/p>\n

Now to begin with, California, the successful precursor state to the new failed state of Kalifornistan, was never a slave state. However, since the state is now run by virtue signaling AWFL\u2019s, Communists and other assorted morons, they have decided that since the state is bankrupt already, why not truly drive things right into the ground. California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed<\/a> legislation Friday creating a new state agency to administer future programs for descendants of slaves, advancing his administration\u2019s ongoing efforts to implement reparations policies despite fiscal constraints and political opposition. <\/b><\/p>\n

The legislation, Senate Bill 518, establishes the Bureau for Descendants of American Slavery within the California Civil Rights Department. The new bureau will operate under a deputy director appointed by the governor and will be divided into three primary divisions: Genealogy, Education and Outreach, and Legal Affairs. <\/b><\/p>\n

This sound more like another Democrat graft machine then something that will actually do what it claims. Why do I say this? Simply really. It\u2019s nothing more then yet another massive government bureaucracy that will do nothing at all.<\/p>\n

Each division is tasked with handling specific components of the state\u2019s developing reparations framework. The Genealogy Division will be responsible for verifying individual lineage to confirm eligibility for state reparations programs. <\/b><\/p>\n

That will be simple. Since California wasn\u2019t a slave state, there are no direct descendants of slaves. I have no doubt that it will take a large number of meetings, fact finding trips to places like Jamaica where they will spend a few weeks \u201cresearching\u201d the slave trade. I suspect they wont\u2019 find anyone who qualifies.<\/p>\n

The Education and Outreach Division will oversee public awareness campaigns focused on historical and systemic discrimination in housing, education, and employment. <\/b><\/p>\n

More WOKE and DEI garbage in other words.<\/p>\n

The Legal Affairs Division will provide counsel to ensure that future reparations-related programs comply with state and federal law. <\/b><\/p>\n

Good luck with that! I can see this running into Federal civil rights issues. Still, it does mean lots of billable hours and big paydays for the lawyers, no matter which way the courts rule.<\/p>\n

Funding for the bureau will depend on future legislative appropriations and may also include support from federal or private sources. <\/b><\/p>\n

I think they can forget about any federal funding for this disaster in progress. As for state funding? Kalifornistan in basically broke. They\u2019ve run out of other people\u2019s money to steal<\/i><\/span> spend. There is also the issue of all the people who aren\u2019t black and descended from slaves who won\u2019t get the money and will be expected to pay, generally through the nose with even more taxes.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Newson signed Assembly Bill 3121, which created a task force to study and recommend proposals for reparations targeting Black Californians. That task force, convened amid nationwide protests following the death of George Floyd, later proposed financial payments exceeding $1 million per qualifying individual and called for repealing Proposition 209, California\u2019s ban on affirmative action. <\/b><\/p>\n

Govno Numbuts Hair Gel Newsom hasn\u2019t directly said there should be cash payments, but the implication is that he is fully on board with it, as long as he doesn\u2019t have to spend any of his money. He\u2019s also issued an apology for slavery, which I find amusing since, like all Progressive Liberal Retards<\/i><\/span> Democrats, he\u2019s fully on board with making not just blacks slaves, but everyone who is not one of \u201cHis class.\u201d<\/p>\n

The creation of the new bureau follows multiple legislative delays and disagreements over how to structure a permanent agency to handle reparations. <\/b><\/p>\n

How about not paying anything at all?<\/p>\n

The California Legislative Black Caucus had previously pushed for an office dedicated to implementing reparations recommendations, but that effort stalled amid disputes over funding and scope. <\/b><\/p>\n

Someone ran the numbers that the Kalifornistan Legislative Black Criminals<\/i><\/span> Caucus was considering and the amount was staggering. The scope was anyone who was black, whether or not they were descended from slaves. This included recent immigrants from places like Africa.<\/p>\n

California\u2019s debate over reparations has intensified in recent years as officials grapple with both the moral and financial implications of such programs. <\/b><\/p>\n

The problem with the \u201cOfficials\u201d is that they weren\u2019t paying any attention to the people who would have to pay for this fiasco.<\/p>\n

Polling in 2024 showed that a majority of California voters opposed direct financial payments, though support for non-cash forms of compensation, such as education and housing programs, was higher. <\/b><\/p>\n

Yeah right up until the figure out that it\u2019s just another form of Leftard Democrat racism. Would you care to guess who would go to the bottom of any lists for education and housing?<\/p>\n

Then there is the issue of the costs. They would be massive.<\/p>\n

Task force estimates placed the potential cost of comprehensive reparations at more than $800 billion\u2014more than double the state\u2019s annual budget. <\/b><\/p>\n

This would mean a massive, to the level of confiscatory taxation right across the board. If they think that their favorite targets, the \u201cRich\u201d and businesses would stand for this, they need to pull their heads out of their collectivist asses. You would see a massive outflow of the most productive people in the state.<\/p>\n

Advocates for reparations argue that California bears responsibility for addressing the legacy of discriminatory state and local policies that restricted economic opportunity for Black residents even after the state joined the Union as a free state in 1850. <\/b><\/p>\n

Excuse me? Since when was discrimination slavery? Yes, it happened however it wasn\u2019t just blacks who had to deal with discrimination. You might want to check with the Chinese or Japanese about what they went through back in the day. Are you going to pay them reparations as well? How about every other ethnic group? Have you ever heard the term \u201cNo Irish need apply?\u201d How about all the discrimination against Jews? Oh wait, you\u2019re still doing that, aren\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

The establishment of the Bureau for Descendants of American Slavery represents the most significant institutional step taken by the Newsom administration to prepare for potential implementation of reparations-related policies. <\/b><\/p>\n

And it will hasten the economic collapse of what was once called the Golden State. This is just more virtue signaling from AWFL\u2019s, (Angry White Female Liberals), and the \u201cGimme crowd\u201d who think that working is beneath them and that \u201cWhitey\u201d owes them.
