Good day all. I wrote this when the first cracks appeared in the Democrats hold on the Legacy Media. Since then, the Democrats caved in and voted for the CR.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a month since UpChuck Schumer and Democrats decided to shut the government down over illegal aliens. There have been over a dozen votes to pass the continuing resolution. The Democrats have voted against the CR.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

The Democrats demands to undue everything that was passed in the Big Beautiful Bill along with billions for illegal aliens. This is obviously a nonstarter, but the Democrats decided that illegal aliens were more important then American citizens.<\/p>\n

Normally, the Democrats have the advantage in these shutdowns, but this time their usual tools have been failing. They expected to go up in the polls and that President Trump and the Republicans would panic and cave in to the Democrats demands. They could count on their Propaganda Corps, aka the Legacy Media, to push their narratives. At first they did, however something unexpected happened. President Trump and the GOP are going up in the polls and the Democrats are ratings are dropping. Now the media is turning on the Democrats. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Washington Post editorial board criticized Senate Democrats<\/a> on Wednesday for holding the government “hostage” for a month in hopes of extending costly Obamacare subsidies and urged them to reopen the government by voting for a clean funding bill. <\/b><\/p>\n

“The right answer is to reopen the government with a clean funding bill, ideally for a full year, to get food stamps flowing and federal workers back in the office, and then have a debate about ACA subsidies,” the Post editorial said<\/a>. “Democrats openly acknowledge that they refuse to do this because it would mean giving up their leverage. If they persist, it could mean families start to go hungry.” <\/b><\/p>\n

The Post editorial said one reason the government shutdown has dragged on for nearly a month is that “most Americans have felt no discernible impact on their daily life,” but warned, “That\u2019s starting to change.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“This pain point, combined with three other dynamics, should help hasten an end to the shutdown as early as next week by making Democrats blink,” the editorial board wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n

Actually, no it isn\u2019t affecting most Americans. What we\u2019re finding out is just how little the government actually does for the American people. They certainly do a lot TO the American people. However, that is neither her not there. What is important is that the ComPost is not spewing the Democrat Party\u2019s usual talking points.<\/p>\n

The Washington ComPost isn\u2019t alone in this either. We are seeing Democrat propaganda stalwarts such as MSNBC\/MSNEVER actually saying that the Democrats should vote for the CR. CNN has also said that it\u2019s time to admit defeat and move on. The problem for the Democrats is the communists they\u2019ve allowed into the party. They are doctrinaire and they don\u2019t care who gets hurt as long as they get what they want. What will be interesting to see is how this all plays out in the off-year elections in a week.<\/p>\n

Now, why has this change happened? It goes back to a decision earlier this year by Jeff Bezos to try and balance out the editorial page. For the longest time, they have been to the left of Lenin. Bezos was watching his advertisers reconsidering the ComPost since their target audience aren\u2019t generally communists. Bezos brought in some \u201cNew blood\u201d and get rid of the ivory tower limousine liberals. This is the result. The ComPost editorial page is no longer just repeating the Democrats talking points. The paper isn\u2019t backing the Republicans, but this is a start.<\/p>\n
