Good day all. If it\u2019s a day ending in a \u201cY\u201d, then something dumb and\/or dangerous is happening in Illinois. We have been seeing flat out attacks on Federal Agents in Chicago with at least one agent involved shooting. You have judges threatening federal agents for doing their jobs, and now we have this bit of idiocy.<\/p>\n

In this case, the State of Illinois, which has decided that protecting illegal aliens and other criminals is far more important then upholding the Constitution or protecting innocent people. They have been watching Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents showing up in and around courthouses and picking up illegal aliens who stupidly show up for a court date.<\/p>\n
This has led to the Democrat controlled State Legislature to \u201cDo something\u201d about ICE agents arresting criminals. They\u2019ve decided that they will just not permit federal agents to enforce federal law in and around state court houses. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Illinois lawmakers passed a bill on Friday prohibiting federal agents from making immigration arrests<\/a> near courthouses. <\/b><\/p>\n It seems that the Democrats, as usual only remember the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution when it suits their purposes.<\/p>\n The measure also allows lawsuits when people believe their constitutional rights were violated during civil immigration arrests. <\/b><\/p>\n See above comment regarding the Supremacy clause. Any such action would have to be heard in federal court, not state court. Also, illegal aliens have, for all intents and purposes, no rights other then to be shipped the hell out of the United States and back to their home country, or Uganda. They can\u2019t be tortured or abused of course, but they are criminals in the process of committing a crime.<\/p>\n The legislation, approved largely along party lines, was sent to Democrat Gov. JB Pritzker’s desk. His office said he supports the idea and will review the proposal when it reaches his desk. <\/b><\/p>\n I have absolutely no doubt that fat tub of lard will sign the bill. I also have no doubt that if the Illinois state and local law enforcement, or the state judicial branch interfere with federal agents, they will find themselves in handcuffs. Honestly, I can\u2019t see any local police doing things this stupid.<\/p>\n According to the bill, civil damages for false imprisonment could be imposed when a migrant attending a court hearing or appearing as a party or witness to a legal proceeding is arrested. <\/b><\/p>\n First, these aren\u2019t \u201cMigrants.\u201d They are illegal aliens. That is the actual legal term, \u201cILLEGAL ALIENS.\u201d They will only be held for as long as it takes to boot them out of the United States.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, a judge in Cook County, which includes Chicago, issued an order blocking immigration arrests at county courthouses, citing concerns about “fear or obstruction” while migrants attend court proceedings. The order prohibits immigration authorities from making civil arrests of any “party, witness, or potential witness” during court appearances. <\/b><\/p>\n And that order will be ignored. I haven\u2019t heard about any cases of an illegal alien showing up for a court case and being picked up of late, so this may be a moot point. I would love to see what would happen if a team of ICE agents showed up looking for an illegal alien and this idiot judge tried to interfere. There is already one judge awaiting trial who did this.<\/p>\n The Trump administration’s immigration agenda aims to detain suspected illegal migrants as part of the president’s mass deportation policies<\/a>. But witnesses have reported numerous incidents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detaining people regardless of citizenship or legal status. <\/b><\/p>\n About those \u201cWitnesses.\u201d Most of them support the invasion of the United States by the millions of illegals that came in under the Dementia Joe Biden Maladministration. A number of them have been attacking federal agents. I would be surprised if any of them voted for President Trump or the Republican party candidates.<\/p>\n Now does this mean that no lawful resident aliens or American Citizens have been caught up in a raid? Of course not, but those are cleared up very quickly Lawful Resident aliens will have their green cards and the few Americans should have some form of ID on them. One thing would be their speech patterns. They will be speaking American English with a local accent. To be honest, I haven\u2019t seen any actual verified reports of the wrong people being picked up.<\/p>\n “No one should have to choose between seeking justice and risking their freedom,” said Democrat state Sen. Celina Villanueva, who is co-sponsoring the bill. “Courthouses must be places where people can resolve disputes, testify and support loved ones, not sites of fear or intimidation.” <\/b><\/p>\n For citizens of the United States of America and people who have come here lawfully, you are correct. For those who are in the United States unlawfully? Pick them up and ship them out.<\/p>\n The measure also requires hospitals, day care centers and higher education institutions to create policies detailing how they would handle immigration agents inside their facilities. <\/b><\/p>\n That\u2019s very simple. They stand aside. Now if an illegal is receiving medical treatment, ICE generally will wait for this to be completed, then pick up the criminal. As for schools, the last I\u2019ve heard, ICE isn\u2019t going into them. The only report I\u2019ve seen regarding Federal agents entering a school, or trying to, had nothing to do with immigration. They were there for another matter.<\/p>\n Now colleges and universities are another matter, but then you aren\u2019t going to be seeing many illegal aliens attending classes at the University of Chicago. Most of the illegals coming in either can\u2019t speak English or are barely functional in it and can\u2019t read it. (Which is why we\u2019re seeing truck drivers losing licenses recently) They will only be in a college if theey’re part of the facilities staff taking care of the place. (Which is another kettle of fish)<\/p>\n California has restricted immigration enforcement action in courthouses since 2017. California Attorney General Rob Bonta said the state cannot control federal immigration action, but “the state has a responsibility to provide safe and secure access to court facilities to all residents regardless of immigration status.” <\/b><\/p>\n That was back during the Trump 45 administration when he was first dealing with illegal immigration. At the time, I don\u2019t recall ICE going into courthouses. As to aiding federal authorities in enforcing federal laws, no they don\u2019t have to. On the other hand, they can\u2019t interfere either, as a few medical types discovered<\/a> when ICE chased an illegal into a clinic. (He wasn\u2019t a patient, he was a fleeing criminal)<\/p>\n We are seeing a number of Blue State governments implementing policies designed to protect the new Democrat Party base, illegal aliens. A very few local officials have actively interfered with Federal Agents and are now awaiting trial. To my knowledge, there hasn\u2019t been any actions in a courthouse where ICE agents have gone in after an illegal alien and having a judge try and arrest the agents.<\/p>\n I suspect that sometime in the next year, something is going to happen and that will be when the Administration lowers the boom on the city and state governments that are actively aiding and abetting illegal aliens. We may see several mayors and other city officials being arrested, and potentially a few judges and even a governor and\/or attorney general as well.<\/p>\n The Democrats may see this as \u201cTheir Chance\u201d to take control of the narratives with an eye to the 2028 election, but the polls are showing that they are on the wrong side of this issue. With every rape, murder, sexual abuse of child or just plain accidents that kill and injure citizens and legal resident aliens, the number of people saying \u201cRound them up and ship them out!\u201d climbs.
