Good day all. This is a breaking story. Apparently, yet another COB judge has decided that the laws do not apply to the Deep State actors. He has dismissed the charges brought against Letitia James and James Comey.<\/p>\n

For the last 6-8 months, we\u2019ve been seeing more and more evidence against James for fraud and Comey for all sorts of crimes including civil and constitutional rights violations, perjury, election fraud and the attempted overthrow of the elected president of the United States. (Trump 45) Since their indictments even more evidence has been generated. Now a Clinton judge has decided that the prosecutor isn\u2019t a real prosecutor and dismissed the charges. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A federal judge threw out the indictments against James Comey and Letitia James on Monday, finding they were illegitimate because they were brought by an unqualified U.S. attorney. <\/b><\/p>\n

Judge Cameron Currie dismissed the false statements charges against Comey and bank fraud charges against James without prejudice, meaning the charges could be brought again. <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m surprised that this \u201cJudge\u201d and I use the term loosely, didn\u2019t also say they were with prejudice in order to prevent refiling them. This would be about the norm for the COB judges who have decided to oppose President Trump regardless of the law or the constitution.<\/p>\n

“I conclude that the Attorney General\u2019s attempt to install Ms. Halligan as Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia was invalid and that Ms. Halligan has been unlawfully serving in that role since September 22, 2025,” Currie wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n

As I recall, Pam Bondi fired the previous prosecutor for slow walking Comey\u2019s indictment with an eye to running out the clock on the Statute of Limitations. Ms. Halligan was appointed to fill in until she is either confirmed by Congress or someone else was appointed and confirmed. I believe this is perfectly legal and constitutional.<\/p>\n

It also differs with regards to Merrick Garland\u2019s appointment of Jack Smith as a special prosecutor. There were questions about that appointment from the first day. Now I am no scholar with regards to these things and will be perfectly willing and happy to be both corrected and educated in the Comments section.<\/p>\n

The Department of Justice<\/a> could appeal the decision or attempt to bring the charges under a different U.S. attorney. Fox News Digital has reached out to the DOJ for comment. <\/b><\/p>\n

I have little doubt that the charges will be refiled within a day or two at most. I also expect this to be appealed. This has the same stench as what other COB judges have been doing Alina Habba.<\/p>\n

The move to scrap two of the highest-profile criminal cases the DOJ has leveled against President Donald Trump’s political foes comes after the judge voiced skepticism at a recent hearing<\/a> in Virginia about Lindsey Halligan’s ability to bring the charges as interim U.S. attorney. <\/b><\/p>\n

Currie, a Clinton appointee based in South Carolina<\/a>, was brought in from out of state to preside over proceedings about the question of Halligan’s authority because it presented a conflict for the Virginia judges. Comey’s and James’ challenges to Halligan’s appointment were consolidated because of their similarity. <\/b><\/p>\n

Halligan acted alone in presenting charges to a grand jury days after Trump ousted the prior interim U.S. attorney, Erik Siebert, and replaced him with Halligan. At the same time, Trump urged Attorney General Pam Bondi in a social media post to act quickly to indict Comey, a call that came as the statutes of limitations in his case was about to lapse. Halligan, who had no prior prosecutorial experience when she took over one of the most high-profile federal court districts in the country, was the lone lawyer to present the cases to the grand jury and sign the indictments. No prosecutors from Virginia joined in on the case. <\/b><\/p>\n

With Comey, this was a real problem. As I mentioned earlier, the previous people were slow walking the case with an eye to letting Comey escape. I would have to really dig into all the other prosecutors in that office, however I won\u2019t be at all surprised if they aren\u2019t mostly Obama or Biden people. This left Halligan no choice but to handle this herself. I will blame Bondi for not getting someone down there to help, but Halligan was working against the clock.<\/p>\n

James’ attorney Abbe Lowell said Halligan was a “private person” when she entered the grand jury rooms and completely unauthorized to be in them. Currie agreed, saying in her decision that retroactively validating Halligan and her actions would be unheard of. <\/b><\/p>\n

“The implications of a contrary conclusion are extraordinary,” Currie wrote. “It would mean the Government could send any private citizen off the street \u2014 attorney or not \u2014 into the grand jury room to secure an indictment so long as the Attorney General gives her approval after the fact. That cannot be the law.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Well now, I wonder if this clown realizes clown has just done? He has just thrown Jack Smith, Merrick Garland and the whole Biden DoJ under the bus. This is exactly what Garland did with the appointment of Smith. Now Halligan was always referred to as an interim U.S. attorney. As I understand these things, and I freely admit I may be wrong, they are in place for a limited amount of time.<\/p>\n

What I\u2019m seeing here is another Judicial Activist working to protect the Democrat operatives who tried to jail President Trump and anyone who was close to him. Under no circumstances can James and Comey be allowed to skate. It\u2019s also reaching the point where something will be done to reign in these activist judges. (Frankly, on both sides of the political aisle, though it is mostly on the Left) If James and Comey get off on what amounts to an extreme technicality, then the idea of an impartial system of justice is dead.<\/p>\n
