I don\u2019t need to go into the details of the disaster that is Obamacare. We all know that it sucks dead donkey dicks. Currently, the Democrats are trying to shove through subsidies to help people pay for Obamacare, which has proven to be anything but affordable. Now a report has come out showing that there is massive fraud happening in this program. Here are the details from the Western Journal<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n A scathing new Government Accountability Office report identified rampant fraud and systemic failures in the Affordable Care Act marketplace just as Congress is battling over the future of Obamacare\u2019s enhanced premium subsidies. <\/b><\/p>\n The report<\/a>, released Wednesday, December 3<\/b>rd<\/b><\/sup>, revealed that fictitious identities, invalid Social Security numbers, and even deceased individuals were easily approved for taxpayer-funded subsidies. Every single application investigators submitted using fabricated or invalid Social Security numbers in 2024 was approved for coverage. <\/b><\/p>\n Why am I not surprised about this? Obamacare was always nothing more then a way to raid the treasury. Originally it was the insurance companies, now it\u2019s just flat out fraud. I wonder how many of these criminals are illegal aliens?<\/p>\n \u201cRepublicans have sounded the alarm on the flawed structural integrity of Obamacare and how Democrats\u2019 failed policies to temporarily prop up the program have exacerbated fraud, hurt patients, increased the burden on American taxpayers,\u201d Rep. Brett Guthrie, a Republican from Kentucky and chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee, said in a statement. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThe concerning findings from GAO\u2019s report further confirm that Republican efforts to strengthen, secure, and sustain our federal health programs are critical and necessary to ensure access to quality health care at prices Americans can afford,\u201d Guthrie added. <\/b><\/p>\n Frankly, this should be used to kill any discussions of subsidies. If people like UpChuck Schumer and the other Communists<\/i><\/span> Democrats keep demanding subsidies to help those forced to use Obamacare, then this report should be rolled up and used to smack them in the back of the head. Force them to justify the subsidies and explain away the criminal activities. (They won\u2019t. I suspect a few office holders might be benefiting from the fraud)<\/p>\n The month-long government shutdown that ended just before Thanksgiving stemmed largely from Democrats\u2019 refusal to budge on the expiring Obamacare premium subsidies, which they passed without a single Republican vote in 2021 and is set to expire at the end of 2025. <\/b><\/p>\n There are rumors that the Democrats are planning to do pull another shutdown after the first of the year. They think it will help them in the midterms since they are claiming all the \u201cGreat wins!\u201d in the off year elections. Never mind that those wins were all in blue states with no net gains to speak of.<\/p>\n Fraud is especially widespread among enrollees reporting incomes between 100 percent and 150 percent of the federal poverty level, who qualify for zero-premium plans. Critics say zero-premium plans create opportunities for bad actors to sign up unsuspecting victims without their knowledge. <\/b><\/p>\n I have a recollection of this happening back during Obama\u2019s reign of mismanagement and murder. People were being signed up without their knowledge or permission and I think this cost a few people on company insurance to lose their coverage. Take this with a little salt since I\u2019m going by memory.<\/p>\n In nine states, the number of sign-ups at that income level exceeded the number of eligible residents, according to a joint report<\/a> from the Foundation for Government Accountability and the Paragon Health Institute. <\/b><\/p>\n I glanced at the report and was a bit surprised at which states this appears to be happening under. I think that since this was a federal program and not a state program, that might explain why the states didn\u2019t do anything. They might not have known or had the ability to do anything. Again, this is all supposition on my part.<\/p>\n GAO\u2019s undercover investigation found that 100 percent of the fictitious applications it submitted were approved in late 2024, and 18 out of 20 fake applicants were still receiving subsidized coverage for 2025. ACA marketplaces approved coverage even when no documents were requested, or fake documents were submitted, including those related to the applicants\u2019 citizenship status. <\/b><\/p>\n Late 2024? As in after the reelection of the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump? That would make sense. The incoming administration wold have found and shut all that down, thanks to DOGE.<\/p>\n The government watchdog also uncovered 66,000 Social Security numbers with more than a year\u2019s worth of subsidized coverage in 2024, including one number used for the equivalent of 71 years of coverage \u2014 in a single plan year. <\/b><\/p>\n Have there been any arrests? People need to go to jail, and not just the people putting in the fraudulent paperwork, but those who were approving everything. There had to be someone getting kickbacks and bribes for anything this big.<\/p>\n The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which manages the ACA marketplace, does not block new applications using the same Social Security number, according to the report. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cFor years, we were told we could keep our plan, keep our doctor, and premiums would go down. None of it happened,\u201d Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said in a statement. \u201cThis new report confirms what we already knew: under Obamacare, hardworking Americans saw their premiums skyrocket and their healthcare choices shrink, all while fraud benefited insurance companies.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n We came close to ending this abortion back in President Trump\u2019s first term. The only reason it didn\u2019t end up on the ash heap of history is one John McSlime. He never forgave President Trump of doing what he failed at. Becoming the President of the United States. Saving Obamacare was his way of sticking it to President Trump and the American people.<\/p>\n I know that the House Republicans are looking at something that replaces Obamacare, but I have no information on it, at least not from any sources I trust. However, the subsidies need to expire and not be renewed.
