Among the things that Elon Musk and DOGE took down USAID, they also helped the White House budget Director, Russ Vought, pull back over $1 billion dollars<\/a> from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Now the CPB has folded it\u2019s tent, closed it\u2019s doors and gone out of business.<\/p>\n

With the loss of the money, along with a few other things, the CPB couldn\u2019t fund their anti-American, leftist agenda any longer and they announced that they were shutting down. Here are some of the details from Deadline<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The board of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting<\/a> voted to dissolve the organization after Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s successful effort last year to roll back federal funding.<\/b><\/p>\n

The move is not a surprise: After it became clear that funding would not be restored, the CPB announced in August<\/a> it would be shutting down operations. It had about 100 employees, and a transition team has been in place since the fiscal year ended September 30<\/b>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Patricia Harrison<\/a>, president and CEO of the CPB, said in a statement, \u201cWhen the Administration and Congress rescinded federal funding, our Board faced a profound responsibility: CPB\u2019s final act would be to protect the integrity of the public media<\/a> system and the democratic values by dissolving, rather than\u00a0allowing the organization to remain defunded and vulnerable to additional attacks.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n
