Good day all. I\u2019ve written a thing or three<\/a> regarding Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett. She is facing a bit of a conundrum. Her district has been changed and where she could count on being reelected, now she would face an actual fight. So she decided to not run for reelection and instead run for the U.S. Senate.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Currently the Senate seat that is up is held by the RINO, John Cornyn. He is not as popular as he once was after basically betraying the Texas Republicans over several very important issues. He is currently in a primary fight with the current Attorney General, Ken Paxton appearing to be ahead in a one on one fight.<\/p>\n

In either case, the Republicans are likely to hold the seat. Now in the case of Her Royal Highness, Jasmine Crockett, she might actually be ahead in the Democrat Primary. However, in the General election, the odds are she will have her political head handed to her. However, Crockett seems to think that Republicans will forget what a sleazeball she is and vote for her. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Rep. Jasmine Crockett<\/a>, D-Texas, asserted that some Republicans would “absolutely” vote for her in a general election as the freshman congresswoman battles to become the state’s Democratic nominee for the Senate.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

During an appearance on MS NOW\u2019s “The Weeknight,” Crockett was asked by co-host Michael Steele whether Republicans could be convinced she is “the representative they need in Washington” if she were to reach the general election.<\/p>\n

“Oh, absolutely,” Crockett replied. “Now, Michael, you can maybe talk about this a little bit more because I think the Democrats have a perception of what Republicans want.”<\/b><\/p>\n

Actually, no, the Democrats don\u2019t have a clue what the average Republican wants. If they did, then they would pass the SAVE act and help clear out all the illegal aliens. They would also stop trying to erase the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment and help reign in the out of control judges.<\/p>\n

“What they want is somebody that they know who they are,” she contended. “I have text messages from Republicans that have made it clear that if there is a certain person that ends up making it through, they are absolutely voting for me because they know who I am.”<\/b><\/p>\n

I really doubt that Crockett is getting texts from Republicans saying they would vote for Crockett. In fact, I think she\u2019s making it up, otherwise she would have named names.<\/p>\n

While Crockett admitted she may not be Republican voters’ “perfect candidate,” she insisted that President Donald Trump wasn’t either, and he was still able to garner their support and win the White House.<\/b><\/p>\n

There are a number of differences between Jasmine Crockett and the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump. Crockett is a lazy, entitled bitch who thinks the world revolves around her. President Trump will hold a door open for complete strangers because it is the right thing to do. (I have first hand information of this happening, but due to privacy reasons, won\u2019t go into details) Crockett would slam the door in their faces. President Trump also tries to keep his promises. Crockett? She doesn\u2019t even remember them.<\/p>\n

“When Republicans went out and voted for a less than perfect candidate in Donald Trump \u2014 they don\u2019t seek perfection, whereas Democrats typically do,” she claimed. “And, so, while I may not be their perfect candidate, they know that. I know the issues. They know that I know how to work across the aisle when necessary.<\/b><\/p>\n

Oh that is funny. She doesn\u2019t \u201cReach across the aisle,\u201d she insults everyone who stands in her way.<\/p>\n

In December<\/a>, while talking to CNN, Crockett said she wasn’t trying to win over supporters of President Donald Trump.<\/b><\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t know that we\u2019ll necessarily convert all of Trump\u2019s supporters,” she said. “That\u2019s not our goal.”\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

You have no chance of converting President Trump\u2019s supporters in Texas. While some might have a few issues with a few things, by and large, they are quite happy with what he\u2019s doing, especially with securing the border. You, on the other hand, were quite happy with the borders thrown open by Dementia Joe Biden\u2019s maladministration.<\/p>\n

Despite her quick rise in U.S. politics, some on the left have begun to question Crockett’s candidacy if she were to reach the general election.<\/b><\/p>\n

Last week<\/a>, liberal New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg argued that former “Saturday Night Live” star Bowen Yang and his podcast co-host Matt Rogers “were right” to criticize Crockett’s Senate campaign on their “Las Culturistas” show earlier this month.<\/b><\/p>\n

Obviously, I have no clue who these two are or anything about their podcast. I\u2019m also to lazy to bother finding out. I\u2019m going to take a wild guess and say that they aren\u2019t conservatives though.<\/p>\n

The two comedians received backlash after Rogers urged listeners <\/b>not to donate to Crockett\u2019s campaign<\/b><\/u><\/a>, criticizing politicians who make everything “about themselves.” Yang agreed with Rogers, but both apologized days later for the remarks.<\/b><\/p>\n

As noted by Goldberg, Yang and Rogers faced pushback from Crockett and her supporters, who <\/b>accused the hosts<\/b><\/u><\/a> of racism and misogyny.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Misogyny is Crockett\u2019s go to accusation when her preferred one, racism, won\u2019t work.<\/p>\n

Goldberg asserted “it\u2019s not race and gender that make Crockett a bad candidate,” but rather her “theory about how Democrats can win Texas is wrong.” She said that while she can understand why “lots of Democrats adore Crockett,” she also sees why others are turned off by her political style.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Some of her insults are in bad taste \u2014 she has called Texas\u2019 governor, Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair, \u2018Hot Wheels\u2019 \u2014 but it\u2019s easy to see why Democrats who feel brutalized by Trump want champions willing to go low,” Goldberg wrote.<\/b><\/p>\n

Calling Governor Abbott \u201cHot Wheels\u201d could have gone either way. If it was done in a way that was saying that he got things done, then it could be seen as a playful nickname. Crockett\u2019s use of the phrase was typical for her. Vicious and unthinking which pretty much describes most of the Democrat office holders these days.<\/p>\n

Aside from Crockett’s sometimes brash style, the columnist also made the case that Talarico has proven he has the ability to do something that Crockett has yet to accomplish \u2014 turn a red seat blue.<\/b><\/p>\n

Yeah, that was a statehouse race and I don\u2019t know the details about it. I did look it up and it appears that Talarico has also been redistricted, probably why he is looking to run for the Senate. In any case, it really won\u2019t matter who wins the Democrat Texas Primary. Either Cornyn or Paxton, (Who is probably the favorite), is going to win the General Election. If Crockett somehow wins the primary, she is going to be politically pummeled, crushed and completely destroyed. It should be an interesting race for her, if you like to watch train wrecks.<\/p>\n
