Good day all. Over the last few years we have seen a mass migration of people, especially those with money, from Democrat controlled Blue states to Republican controlled Red states. The primary reason for this migration has been taxes. The Democrats love confiscating people\u2019s money.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
Two states that have been hard hit by this migration are Kalifornistan, (Of course), and New York. Both states are basically single party states with the normal checks and balances that a two party state has pretty much gone. With the migration, especially by billionaires, these states are seeing their tax receipts drop significantly and now they are running out of money.<\/p>\n
This has led the Govno of New York, Kathy Hochul, to beg wealthy people to move back to the state so their bank accounts can be looted. Here are the details from the New York Post<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Gov. Kathy Hochul is begging wealthy New Yorkers<\/a>\u00a0who fled the city to\u00a0encourage their rich pals to\u00a0come back and continue padding the Empire State\u2019s lavish public handouts.<\/b><\/p>\n Hochul made the case against caving to Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s demands that she hike income taxes \u2014 by saying she not only wants fat cats to stay in the city, but also by clawing at those who have moved to states with better business climates like Florida.<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cMaybe the first step should be to go down to Palm Beach and see who we can bring back home because our tax base has been eroded,\u201d the Democratic governor said at a forum hosted by Politico last week.<\/b><\/p>\n Yeah, that\u2019s not happening any time soon. It\u2019s not just the well off who are packing up and leaving, it\u2019s average people as well. New York is probably going to lose one or more house seats after the next census.<\/p>\n The comments are a far cry from Hochul\u2019s\u00a0much-derided remarks<\/a>\u00a0from her 2022 election campaign where she ripped her GOP opponent, Rep. Lee Zeldin, as well as then-Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro and President Trump, telling them and other New York Republicans to scram.<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cTrump and Zeldin and Molinaro \u2013 just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong. OK? Get out of town. Because you don\u2019t represent our values,\u201d Hochul said at the time.<\/b><\/p>\n And that is exactly what they did and they took all their money with them as well. As for your values, they do seem to change with the circumstances, such as a communist becoming the Mayor of New York and then moving to institute communism.<\/p>\n When the communist discovers that he actually has to pay for all the stuff he wants to do and there is no money? Yep. He wants to jack up taxes to confiscatory levels. Like all communist dictators, he is telling you that you have to raise taxes on everyone else in order to pay for his communist dreams of a communist utopia. How\u2019s all that working out for you?<\/p>\n Hochul, who faces re-election in November, has made the pitch defending high-earners to shore up the state\u2019s tax base in recent weeks as Mamdani and his \u201ctax the rich\u201d crew of lefty lawmakers demand she further jack up income taxes.<\/b><\/p>\n The governor was particularly poking at the group \u201cPatriotic Millionaires\u201d in her remarks last week, after the tax-loving lefty group\u00a0got behind Mamdani\u2019s push<\/a>\u00a0for an additional 2% citywide income tax on those making more than a million dollars and other proposals to\u00a0squeeze more money<\/a>\u00a0out of New Yorkers such as lower the\u00a0estate tax<\/a>\u00a0threshold.<\/b><\/p>\n I have never heard of this group called the Patriotic Millionaires<\/a>, so I did what anyone else would do. I searched the internet. I found their site and have been looking into it. A bigger pack of guilty left wing hypocrites you won\u2019t find anywhere else. They come up with all the usual platitudes of \u201cHelping the people\u201d but what they want is the standard WEF elites have always wanted. Absolute control.<\/p>\n If they actually meant what they say, they would liquidate all their holdings and send the money to the states they live in and the federal government. Are they doing this?<\/p>\n Hizzoner wants to use funds raised by the tax hike to help pay for his democratic socialist wishlist and cover the $5.4 billion budget gap he claims the city faces.<\/b><\/p>\n I don\u2019t know what the current finances of the City of New York are, but Mamdani and his group of Marxists have decided to just rape the finances of anyone in New York City. The response has been pretty straightforward. More people are packing up and leaving.<\/p>\n But even Hochul \u2014 who is negotiating her own massively bloated $263 billion budget proposal \u2014 admitted she\u2019s been cashing in on New Yorkers\u2019 income taxes to buoy state finances for years.<\/b><\/p>\n Bloated is an understatement.<\/p>\n The state had been facing its own multibillion-dollar budget gap that was largely patched after a great year on Wall Street caused bonuses to shoot up 25% over 2025, according to Hochul\u2019s budget office.<\/strong><\/p>\n That may be coming to an end too. Not because of issues with the economy, but with the brokerages, financial houses and the actual New York Stock Exchange actually considering leaving Wall Street and New York for other states such as Texas.<\/p>\n But despite shrieking that Trump is wrecking the economy whenever it\u2019s convenient, Hochul was somehow able to find $1.5 billion in new cash to bail out the city and another $1.7 billion to expand childcare access in her record-high spending proposal.<\/b><\/p>\n Child care? Is the New York branch of the Quality Learing Center? I wonder how much of that money is actually going to it\u2019s intended purposes? Somehow, I don\u2019t see it as much more then 10% myself.<\/p>\n If her budget passes, Hochul will have racked up state spending almost $54 billion, or 20%, since she took office in 2021. <\/b>That amount of growth is\u00a0more than the entire state budget\u00a0<\/a>for more than half of the 50 states. <\/b><\/p>\n It will pass. That\u2019s the problem with the Democrats. They love spending money. It makes them feel good. They think they are accomplishing things. It doesn\u2019t hurt that they are also getting kickbacks and \u201cCampaign donations\u201d from assorted NGO\u2019s that they\u2019re financing.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s awfully rich of her,\u201d Molinaro told The Post.<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m glad she is acknowledging that the problems she has created have made New York so unaffordable so as to have to beg people to come back from Florida,\u201d Molinaro, who is running for the state legislature after a stint in the Trump administration, added.<\/b><\/p>\n Unless the GOP takes control of one or both houses of the State legislature, even if he wins, nothing will change.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s an indictment on the policy she\u2019s had over all these years,\u201d state Sen. Jim Tedisco (R-Schenectady) told The Post. He said Democrats are furthering a vicious cycle of raising taxes to drive up spending and then repeat.<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThis is the same poison medicine that got us to this affordability problem. And everybody on their side is trying to campaign on affordability, especially her,\u201d Tedisco said.<\/b><\/p>\n The Democrats ran on \u201cAffordability\u201d in Virginia and once they took control, promptly began a campaign of massive tax increases and spending. (Among all the other things they\u2019re doing to wreck the state) It\u2019s just another Liberal con job and it only works on the small minded low IQ people who make up the Democrat Base. New York is starting to run out of other people\u2019s money. Their answer is to beg people who fled to come back and pay for the Democrat\u2019s spending addiction.
