Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n A California sheriff and top Republican candidate for governor seized over 650,000 votes from the state’s November elections this weekend.<\/b><\/p>\n Regarding the Sheriff being a top Republican candidate, it seems that the number one and number two candidates for Governor are Republicans. There are so many Democrat candidates that they are diluting their vote. Since Kalifornistan decided to institute a \u201cJungle Primary\u201d system where the two top candidates face off against each other, there is a fair chance that the next governor of California might be a Republican.<\/p>\n Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco launched an investigation into the state’s November 2025 special election on Proposition 50<\/a> after a third-party organization, the Riverside Election Integrity Team, claimed it found roughly 45,000 excess votes. California elections officials have dismissed the team’s findings, but Bianco says his office will conduct another count.<\/b><\/p>\n The special election was set up by the Democrats to force through a redistricting that would essentially end the Republican Party\u2019s chances of winning another house seat. If they found 45,000 extra votes, then the whole election would be called into question.<\/p>\n “This investigation is simple: Physically count the ballots and compare that result with the total votes recorded,” Bianco told reporters at a Friday press conference<\/b><\/p>\n Secretary of State Shirley Weber has argued Bianco has no authority to carry out a recount.<\/b><\/p>\n “The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has taken actions based on allegations that lack credible evidence and risk undermining public confidence in our elections,” Weber told City News Service. “The sheriff’s assertion that his deputies know how to count is admirable. The fact remains that he and his deputies are not elections officials, and they do not have expertise in election administration.”<\/b><\/p>\n What they probably don\u2019t have is experience in rigging an election. I have a suspicion that the Secretary of State knows that there were \u201cProblems\u201d with the vote totals. Now, as to examining the ballots? I can think of a way that would satisfy the average person. You have a lot of observers, the sheriff\u2019s department operates as if this were a criminal investigation, in other words securing and maintaining the \u201cChain of evidence\u201d and have each ballot checked by two or more people.<\/p>\n Riverside elections official Art Tinoco rejected the Riverside Election Integrity Team’s findings earlier this month, saying the group had misinterpreted how votes are counted on Election Day.<\/b><\/p>\n Perhaps they did. A full audit will determine this, won\u2019t it?<\/p>\n Tinoco told county supervisors earlier this year that the initial intake logs by polling workers are meant to be estimates rather than exact tallies of how many votes were cast. Even so, he said the final tally<\/a> was within 0.16%, or 103 votes, of the original estimate.<\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m going to ask, why are they making estimates? There are X ballots cast and there are Y number of voters. They should match exactly. Perhaps I\u2019m missing something, but I can\u2019t see what.<\/p>\n The Elections Integrity Team maintains their math is correct, however, and it was this disagreement that led Bianco to open an investigation of his own.<\/b><\/p>\n And this is going to show one of two things. Either the election integrity team is wrong, or there is a major issue. Considering how much the Democrats are fighting this, I\u2019m leaning towards the latter being the correct answer.<\/p>\n Bianco accused California Attorney General Bob Bonta<\/a>, a Democrat, of intervening in the investigation. Bonta, however, says his office only sought to learn the basis of the probe.<\/b><\/p>\n “We have\u00a0attempted to work cooperatively\u00a0with the Sheriff\u2019s Office in order to\u00a0better\u00a0understand the basis for their investigation, including by reviewing the warrants themselves and by requesting the Sheriff\u2019s complete investigative\u00a0file,”\u00a0Bonta’s office told Fox News Digital on Sunday. “We made these requests pursuant to the Attorney General\u2019s supervisory authority over county sheriffs.”<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
