Good day all. I\u2019ve been writing, along with many others, all generally better at this then I am, about the thoroughly vile Federal District Court judge, James Boasberg. His actions to either get President Trump or interfere with him go back years.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Boasberg\u2019s hatred of President Trump and Republicans in general has become so blatant that demands that he be impeached and removed from the bench have been escalating. His rulings, in almost all cases, have been so over the top that he has become a meme. An example would be \u201cJudge Boasberg has ruled that rescuing the downed Air Force pilot was illegal and that he must be handed over to the Iranians immediately.<\/p>\n

Now someone has decided that the time has come to do something about Boasberg. Unfortunately, it doesn\u2019t involve tar, feathers and other accessories. They are filing a misconduct complaint against him. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A watchdog group filed a complaint against Judge James Boasberg on Tuesday alleging he improperly coordinated with Biden Department of Justice officials on sweeping investigations tied to former President Donald Trump<\/a> and his allies.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The complaint, filed by the conservative watchdog Center to Advance Security in America and obtained by Fox News Digital, accused Boasberg of engaging in “probable judicial misconduct” by consulting with DOJ officials about Arctic Frost, an FBI investigation that led to former special counsel Jack Smith charging Trump over the 2020 election.<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The complaint cited internal DOJ meeting notes<\/a> from 2023, recently made public by the Senate Judiciary Committee, that referenced briefings Smith’s team had with Boasberg and Judge Beryl Howell, both Obama appointees, as Arctic Frost and a separate probe into Trump’s handling of classified documents was underway. CASA’s complaint, filed with the D.C. appellate court, comes as part of a growing clash between Republicans and Democrat-appointed judges who presided over key developments in the investigations and prosecutions of Trump.<\/b><\/p>\n

That meeting does sound very fishy to me. A judge must maintain the appearance of neutrality. The only meetings they should be having with investigators would be in regards to warrants and subpoenas. That doesn\u2019t appear to be what was going on.<\/p>\n

CASA’s complaint suggested both Boasberg and Howell were improperly looped into discussions about investigative “strategizing” before charges against Trump were brought. At the time, Boasberg was the incoming chief judge of D.C.’s federal court and Howell the outgoing chief judge. CASA filed a similar complaint about Howell last week, Fox News Digital confirmed. The Republican watchdog called for the court to investigate Boasberg.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Honestly, good luck with that. This is something that Chief Justice Roberts should have been doing months ago. Instead, that useless twerp has been sitting with his thumbs up his ass trying to \u201cProtect the reputation of the court.\u201d<\/p>\n

“While the facts strongly suggest that Boasberg violated the canons of judicial ethics, investigation should be promptly opened to confirm,” Curtis Schube, CASA director of research and policy, wrote.<\/b><\/p>\n

There is enough to have Boasberg and several other federal COB judges impeached and removed from the bench, including the Biden DEI hire, Ketanji Brown Jackson. In her case, it would be for sheer incompetence.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The documents released by the Senate committee included notes about a briefing Smith’s team gave Attorney General Merrick Garland on Jan. 13, 2023, just after Garland appointed Smith as special counsel. The notes referenced meetings with Boasberg and Howell, both of whom became Trump nemeses known for their high-profile adverse rulings against the president.<\/b><\/p>\n

Smith\u2019s appointment by Garland was flat out illegal. Another judge in Florida finally dealt with him, ruling that he had been unlawfully appointed. His appointment needed to be confirmed by the Senate since Smith was a private citizen and not a DoJ lawyer. He also has a long history of questionably ethical behavior. Meeting with Boasberg and Howell? For Smith, that\u2019s just standard operating procedure.<\/p>\n

CASA noted in its complaint that Boasberg went on to sign numerous nondisclosure orders, also known as gag orders, that blocked telephone and tech companies from notifying Republican targets when Smith’s team subpoenaed their phone records or other data. Some of those targets included GOP members of Congress, leading the lawmakers to openly and repeatedly rebuke the Biden DOJ and Boasberg for allowing what they have alleged was a breach of the Constitution’s speech or debate clause.<\/b><\/p>\n

Those NDA\u2019s were flat out illegal and Boasberg knew they were. Congress found out when one of the phone companies, AT&T I believe, told smith to pound sand and notified the Senate Sargent at Arms. (I believe it was the Senate. May have been the House)<\/p>\n

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts<\/a> said in December that Boasberg would not have known who the gag orders applied to because prosecutors would not have informed him of whose numbers were listed on the subpoenas, based on the court’s standard practice. Smith has also defended his work repeatedly, testifying to Congress that he followed DOJ policy regarding subpoenas.<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t believe that for a second, and honestly, no one else does either. That includes Congress, the targets of these illegal court orders.<\/p>\n

CASA said Boasberg’s judicial immunity, which federal law affords judges, has limitations.<\/b><\/p>\n

“There is no world in which the statutes were designed to protect a judge meeting with prospective litigants to strategize with them on how to win a case in front of them in the future,” Schube wrote. “This is especially true when the meetings are designed for the government to determine ways to put its political opposition in jail, which is exactly what Arctic Frost was designed to do.”<\/b><\/p>\n

Of course, there are those who say that what Boasberg and Howell did was totally innocent.<\/p>\n

While critics have said the meetings, which are central to CASA’s complaint, could indicate collusion between judges and prosecutors targeting Trump, others have said<\/a> they were innocuous and normal, designed to achieve efficiency in an already-overwhelmed court system as major investigations took place.<\/b><\/p>\n

And if you believe that these meetings were innocuous, I have a bridge in Brooklyn you might want to consider purchasing. This was collusion of the worst sort.<\/p>\n

Smith’s investigations eventually led to criminal charges against Trump alleging he illegally attempted to overturn the 2020 election and retained classified documents. Trump called the investigations a “witch hunt” and accused all involved with them of corruption, while Republicans widely condemned the charges as an abuse of power designed to take out the then leading Republican presidential candidate.<\/b><\/p>\n

Which the entire \u201cInvestigation\u201d was. This was cooked up by the Biden\/Garland DoJ to go after everyone the Democrats considered to be their enemies starting with the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump. Smith was selected by Garland due to his history of playing fast and loose with the law, the Constitution and the truth. The entire house of cards started collapsing when another Federal judge pointed out that Smith was not lawfully appointed to the position.<\/p>\n

Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, tossed out the classified documents case, finding Smith was improperly appointed special counsel. Smith was appealing that decision when Trump won the 2024 election. After Trump’s victory, Smith terminated both cases, citing a DOJ policy that advises against prosecuting sitting presidents.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With the landslide victory of President Trump, the administration has been able to dig into all the files, paperwork and computer records that Garland, Wray and Comey tried to hide. In the mean time, Boasberg and the other COB judges have been working to overthrow the will of the people and protect the Democrat party. Now the first chinks may be happening.<\/p>\n

I have no idea on what happens with one of these complaints. If it is shown he was colluding with Smith and the DoJ, it would be more evidence that could be used against him in an Impeachment hearing. What I don\u2019t know is what happens otherwise. Would Boasberg be essentially suspended from the bench? Technically, he would still be a federal judge, he just wouldn\u2019t be allowed to hear any cases.
