Good day all. No sooner than we find a mayor in Kalifornistan was working for the Chinese Communist government<\/a>, pushing their propaganda as news, then we have a report that there might be another one in the State government.<\/p>\n

In this case, the person is the current state treasurer, (Which doesn\u2019t say a lot about her skills at budgeting), and is running for Lieutenant Governor. It seems she spent the last few decades hobnobbing with all sorts of government \u201cOfficials\u201d with the ChiCom government. Here are the details from the Daily Caller<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

California\u2019s two-term treasurer, Fiona Ma, has met with high-level Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials and intelligence personnel dozens of times in the last several decades, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation discovered.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

During these many meetings in the U.S. and China, the Democratic frontrunner<\/a> in California\u2019s 2026 lieutenant governor race has introduced<\/a> American lawmakers to Chinese intelligence officials\u00a0and also repeatedly presented<\/a> awards to CCP members<\/a> and influence operatives<\/a>, according to DCNF translations of Chinese government and state media reports.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cWe really should be more integrated,\u201d Ma said<\/a> during a 2023 interview with state-run media outlet CGTN. \u201cThe more that we can get along, work together, I think would create more peace in the world as well as better economic opportunities for both countries.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

What is it with Kalifornistan Democrats sucking up to the government of the People\u2019s Republic of China? They are considered a hostile government for a number of reasons. You have Eric Swalwell, Eileen Wang and now Fiona Ma? We also had Govno Gavin Hair gel Newsom over in China sucking up to them as well not long ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cCCP elite capture is alive and well,\u201d Peter Schweizer, New York Times bestselling author of \u201cRed Handed,\u201d told the DCNF. \u201cAny politician who continues to engage in these types of behavior is not a target, but is complicit in CCP activities. Ignorance is no longer an excuse.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Ma\u2019s ties to China recently came under scrutiny following an April\u00a0Politico report revealing<\/a> that in September 2023 she offered<\/a> to help secure U.S. internships and employment opportunities for students attending the Pegasus California School, which was\u00a0founded<\/a> in the coastal city of Qingdao by Ma\u2019s campaign finance committee chair<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Pegasus\u2019 students, who are Chinese nationals, have allegedly received unlawful California high school diplomas through a partnership with the Val Verde Unified School District, according to a 2026 Riverside County Office of Education audit of the district, which did not accuse Ma of wrongdoing.<\/b><\/p>\n

No, I think we may need to leave that to the FBI and the Department of Justice. This whole things has a very unpleasant aroma to it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Daily Caller story then goes into who Ma was meeting with and how often. This wasn\u2019t just an occasional meeting here and there.<\/p>\n

Ma has met with officials from the CCP and a Chinese government influence<\/a> and intelligence<\/a> agency called the United Front Work Department (UFWD) at least 30 times, according to DCNF translations of Chinese government and state media reports.<\/b><\/p>\n

If that is what the CCP is reporting, just how many times did Ma actually meet with them?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The UFWD\u2019s operations are a \u201cblend of engagement, influence activities, and intelligence operations\u201d that Beijing uses to steer foreign policy and \u201cgain access to advanced foreign technology,\u201d according<\/a> to the House Select Committee on the CCP.<\/b><\/p>\n

In other words, this is probably an arm of the Chinese Ministry of State Security<\/a>. The article then goes into how long this has been going on, and it appears that it goes back to at least 1999. What I find interesting is that a lot of the information in the Daily Caller story was pulled from publicly available Chinese sources.<\/p>\n

Since Ma\u2019s January 2019 inauguration<\/a> as California treasurer, she has met with Chinese government and CCP intelligence officials over 20 times, including three<\/a> meetings in China<\/a>\u00a0in 2023<\/a>, according to DCNF translations of Chinese government and state media reports.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is going from bad to worse optically. Add to that she has been awarding commendations from her office as State Treasurer at least another 10 times.<\/p>\n

California\u2019s chief financial officer presented one award to the chairman of the Chinese People\u2019s Association For Friendship With Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) during his February 2023 visit to the U.S., a photo accompanying an announcement<\/a> from that UFWD<\/a> affiliate shows<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

There is just one small issue with this. The U.S. National Counterintelligence and Security Center, which is part of the office of the Director of National Intelligence, (Currently headed by Tulsi Gabbard), has reported that the CPAFFC has \u201csought to directly and malignly influence state and local leaders to promote [China\u2019s] global agenda.\u201d <\/b>They are, not unreasonably, putting China\u2019s interests first.<\/p>\n

Although there is no evidence that CPAFFC has ever sought to influence Ma, other Chinese government officials have reportedly pressured the politician to adopt their preferred policy positions in the past.<\/b><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t appear to me that they had to apply pressure to Ma. It sounds like she was fully on board with the ChiCom actions.<\/p>\n

In one instance, while serving on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in August 2005, the Chinese government allegedly successfully pressured Ma to withdraw her support for an art exhibit organized by practitioners of Falun Gong, which is a spiritual movement that the CCP banned in 1999, The San Francisco Chronicle reported<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Several years later, while serving as a California State Assemblywoman, Ma allegedly killed a resolution honoring Tibet in March 2009 following intense Chinese government lobbying, The Sacramento Bee reported<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Uh huh. It sure sounds like she\u2019s actively working for a foreign government to me. As I understand the other case, the one where former mayor Eileen Wang was recently convicted, Wang stopped working, allegedly, for China. Ma? Not so much, or at all apparently.<\/p>\n

Frequent meetings with Chinese government and CCP intelligence officials by lawmakers should set off a \u201cflashing red light for our national security and intelligence agencies,\u201d former U.S. Ambassador Joseph Cella told the DCNF.<\/b><\/p>\n

If it hasn\u2019t, I suspect it has now.<\/p>\n

\u201c[E]lected and appointed officials, staff, and executive leaders and workers in all sector and strata, need to be educated about the nature of the CCP, how these threats emanate and manifest, how to be on guard against them, and to counter them, the importance of refusing to participate in these meetings, and certainly reporting them to the FBI,\u201d Cella said.<\/b><\/p>\n

To late! This is locking the barn long after the horse has left, gone to another state, knocked up a bunch of girl horses and died of old age. Frankly, I think Fiona Ma needs a deep anal exam by the FBI. Frankly, people like Ma need to be flat out told to drop these connections or face prosecution. Even if she were told, I don\u2019t think she will listen. If not, indict, arrest, try and convict.<\/p>\n
