Good day all. A few weeks ago, I posted an entry regarding<\/a> the DoJ impaneling a Grand Jury to investigate Neville Roy Singham. The short version is that Singham is allegedly working for the People\u2019s Republic of China to destroy the United States.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

It\u2019s alleged that Singham is financing what amounts to terrorist groups attacking Federal Agents, primarily ICE agents. Now the usual suspects on the Left are going off the deep end that one of their sugar daddies might be criminally charged and the money tap being shut off. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Prominent far-left figures, including livestream influencer Hasan Piker<\/a>, are rallying around a pro-China media outlet within the sprawling network bankrolled by communist tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham \u2013 casting recent congressional subpoenas as leading a “McCarthy-style” witch hunt against the left.<\/b><\/p>\n

Yeah, they might want to revisit that whine about McCarthy. While McCarthy was a complete scumbag, he also turned out to be pretty much right about how far the Soviet Union had infiltrated the United States. (The Venona Project<\/a>, the Mitrokhin Archive<\/a>) McCarthy was also dead wrong in other cases as well.<\/p>\n

As Fox News Digital first reported Wednesday, the House Ways and Means Committee sent subpoenas to three nonprofits<\/a>, including media outlet BreakThrough News, as part of a wider investigation into alleged malign foreign influence by China in U.S. politics. The three groups have received about $39 million from Singham, who left the U.S. several years ago to live in China.<\/b><\/p>\n

Not just him, his wife is one of the founders of the Communist group Code Pink. They\u2019re both in Shanghai and are, allegedly, working with the Chinese Ministry of State Security<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The other two groups are the People\u2019s Forum Inc., a New York-based activist and political-education hub, and Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, a think tank that says its work is anchored in “national liberation Marxism.”<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Hours after Fox News Digital reported the subpoenas<\/a>, pro-communist influencers and organizations mounted a social media defense of BreakThrough News, echoing similar-phrased attacks on the congressional investigation.<\/b><\/p>\n

Gee, what a surprise, I\u2019m completely shocked that commies would come to the defense of their communist paymaster.<\/p>\n

Among them were Piker, a prominent Twitch streamer and political commentator, and Medea Benjamin, co-founder of CodePink, a pro-communist, pro-China nonprofit that has received Singham money.<\/b><\/p>\n

Hasan Piker is one reason that we need to shut down birthright citizenship. He was born in the United States but grew up in Turkey. He\u2019s about as American in his thinking as Fidel Castro\u2019s bother, Raul. As for this Medea Benjamin, she should be in prison for treason. (Sometimes the constitutional definition of treason really sucks)<\/p>\n

Piker called the subpoenas “the McCarthy trials,” invoking the anti-communist Congressional investigations of the 1950s, led by Sen. Joe McCarthy.<\/b><\/p>\n

“They will come for you,” Piker warned on X.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Piker, as I said before, is an American in name only. He also doesn\u2019t seem to understand that calling anything that goes after communism is McCarthyism just doesn\u2019t have the impact it did 40 years ago.<\/p>\n

Responding to BreakThrough News host Rania Khalek appeal for support and donations, Benjamin called<\/a> the move a “terrible attack on independent journalism,” adding, “We stand with you!!!”<\/b><\/p>\n

Independent journalism? Don\u2019t make me laugh. While I have never looked at BreakThrough News, it probably makes CNN and ABC look like bastions of journalistic neutrality. I\u2019ll let others give them a once over and respond in the comments.<\/p>\n

In March, Piker, Benjamin and Evans traveled to Cuba<\/a> to rally support for the island nation\u2019s communist government.<\/b><\/p>\n

Yeah that went over like a lead balloon with the people of Cuba. These spoiled brats stayed in a Hotel specifically set up to cater to foreign nationals. The hotel also has it\u2019s own generator and they were using fuel that could have been used to power a Cuban hospital. These loons won\u2019t talk about that of course.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital previously reported that the Treasury Department\u2019s Office of Foreign Assets Control is investigating whether they violated U.S. sanctions restricting dealings with Cuba, according to sources familiar with the inquiry.<\/b><\/p>\n

They probably did. I don\u2019t\u2019 know what the status of that investigation is though. This isn\u2019t surprising since the Trump Administration doesn\u2019t broadcast the status of an investigation until they either conclude there is nothing there or arrests are made.<\/p>\n

Their warnings about political repression come despite longstanding restrictions on dissent and independent media under the communist governments of Cuba and China.<\/b><\/p>\n

Like all Manhattan Marxists, these commies have no problem with suppressing anything they don\u2019t like. They were fine with the blatant suppression of the Constitutional rights of Americans under the Biden maladministration and are actively working to get a Communist government installed in the United States. I gather they never studied history and learned what happens to people like them in a new communist regime. Generally, they\u2019re the first up against a wall.<\/p>\n

The synchronized defense illustrates how organizations and personalities tied to the Singham network can rapidly mobilize around a common message, just as they\u2019ve done in the past to oppose everything from data centers to President Donald Trump<\/a>, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the war with Iran<\/a>, Israel and the U.S. arrest of Venezuela strongman Nicholas Maduro.<\/b><\/p>\n

That should tell you everything you need to know about these groups. They are dedicated to the destruction of the United States and are actively working with foreign powers that are hostile to the United States. If they were actually honest, they would be talking about the allegations. They aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n

Rather than addressing the committee\u2019s allegations about foreign-linked funding, financial transparency and compliance with congressional document requests, many of the network\u2019s most prominent voices characterized the investigation as political persecution, invoking themes of the “red scare,” “McCarthyism,” “censorship” and a broader “war on the left.”<\/b><\/p>\n

This is all right out of the old Communist playbook. It\u2019s not even original. It\u2019s also showing that this isn\u2019t some local groups, it\u2019s global.<\/p>\n

By Thursday night, the counterpropaganda campaign went global with the World Socialist Website, a pro-communism platform, parroting<\/a> the rhetoric of the Singham network and blasting the “anti-communist witchhunting” to its readers.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t seen anything like this since the days of the Cold War and the nuclear freeze movement. Back then, it was all run out of Moscow. When the Soviet Union collapsed, a lot of these groups faded away as the money dried up. Now it looks like the Communist Chinese government has decided to pick up the slack and Singham is acting as their money man. I would be interested in seeing Singhams balance sheets to determine if his \u201cDonations\u201d are being matched by payments from front companies based in China. Apparently, so does the DoJ. Considering the screaming by the communists, they might be worried that the allegations are, in fact, true. We shall see.<\/p>\n
