Good day all. Like most people, I pay absolutely no attention to the Women\u2019s National Basketball Association. I am aware of Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clarke and the flat out bullying of Ms. Clarke by other players. Another issue, besides the failure of the whole enterprise, is how WOKE the people running the WNBA are.<\/p>\n

Recently, Ms. Cunningham blasted men pretending to be women who want to play in women\u2019s sports. Part of this was due to the WNBA \u201cDiscussing\u201d letting \u201cChicks with Dicks\u201d play against real women. Now two NBA players have decided to troll the WNBA by claiming they\u2019re women and applying to play in the WNBA. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White put the WNBA<\/a> in an almost impossible spot on Friday when they declared for the 2027 Draft in the wake of the Sophie Cunningham<\/a> drama, and the ways out are limited.<\/b><\/p>\n

Frankly, none of them are great for the league, which is, presumably, the point. Unless, of course, both former NBA stars are just itching to get back in the game of basketball.<\/b><\/p>\n

Somehow, I don\u2019t think they are. I know that Enes, who was from Turkey, but moved, legally, to the United States when he was a teenager. He became a naturalized citizen in 2021. He is well known for blasting the human rights records of China and other countries. He is definitely NOT transgendered. He just decided to call the WNBA\u2019s bluff.<\/p>\n

For those who missed it, Kanter and White called the WNBA’s bluff by both declaring their intention to enter next year’s draft within hours of each other Friday evening.<\/b><\/p>\n

“If simply declaring who you are is all that\u2019s required, then I meet every requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA,” Freedom stated in a social media post.<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

“I’m transgender. I’m a woman. I identify as sometimes identifying as a woman for purpose of basketball, professional basketball, so I’ll be declaring for the WNBA draft in 2027 as well,” White later added. “They\u2019re going to have nightmares, and they should. I really feel like I\u2019m going to be dominant.” <\/b><\/p>\n
