Good day all. As you know, The Southern Poverty Law Center, SPLC, has been indicted on assorted fraud and money laundering charges. This stemmed from the SPLC actually recruiting and paying racist groups to justify their existence.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Many people, myself included, were wondering why no actual SPLC employees had been charged. An organization doesn\u2019t commit crimes in and of itself. It takes people to actually break the law. Now the former Chief Financial Officer of the SPLIC has been indicted. Here are the details from the New York Post<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A former Southern Poverty Law Center finance officer was charged Wednesday for her leading role in having the left-wing nonprofit\u00a0secretly pay informants to participate in white supremacist groups. Heidi Beirich of Palm Springs made her initial appearance Wednesday, August 12th<\/sup>, in federal court in Riverside, California, according to her attorney, Michael Proctor. CNN reported she had been arrested earlier that day.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I looked up Heidi Beirich and couldn\u2019t find any information on her being the CFO. It appears this was an error in the reporting. However, she was the Director of the Intelligence project, which, allegedly, tracked racist groups. According to Grok, she left the SPLC in 2019. To continue:<\/p>\n

A 26-page superseding indictment naming Beirich, who was first\u00a0unmasked by The Post\u00a0in June<\/a>, was later filed in the Middle District of Alabama.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a new indictment that includes the former CFO of SPLC,\u201d\u00a0Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed at an unrelated news conference at DOJ headquarters, adding that there had been \u201can arrest made,\u201d though Beirich\u2019s attorney said she appeared voluntarily in court.<\/b><\/p>\n

Voluntarily? Oh I don\u2019t think so. She may have turned herself in, but she was criminally charged and if she hadn\u2019t surrendered, she would have been arrested and cuffed.<\/p>\n

\u201cDr. Beirich is innocent, and this case is without merit,\u201d her attorney, Proctor, said in a statement. \u201cWe believe the charges against her and the SPLC are politically motivated, and Dr. Beirich has been targeted in this case because of the important work she has done to combat hate groups and extremists.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

FBI Director Kash Patel\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0Beirich \u201cwas at the center of our ongoing investigation into SPLC,\u201d which found the nonprofit \u201cknowingly misled donors, who believed their money was being used to dismantle violent extremist organizations \u2013 when in fact, part of those donations were instead being used to pay senior leadership within those extremist groups.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Obviously, we haven\u2019t seen all the evidence. That will happen when these cases go to trial. This isn\u2019t a civil case where the SPLC is being sued. These are criminal cases. If they want to settle, it means pleading guilty and throwing themselves on the mercy of the court. (Which, if it is a COB judge, is a really big and hard to miss target)<\/p>\n

Wednesday\u2019s superseding indictment\u00a0accused Beirich of helping to funnel $1.2 million in SPLC donor money to an informant in the white supremacist group National\u00a0Alliance \u2014\u00a0who was also purportedly her lover. The June 2 indictment had named the\u00a0\u201cperson who would become\u00a0Director of the SPLC\u2019s Intelligence Project\u201d as \u201cEmployee-2.\u201d Beirich served in that role from 2012 to 2019.<\/b><\/p>\n

I had heard about the superseding indictment. I wasn\u2019t aware of the details. I had also heard about someone who was in the SPLC who was sleeping with a so called White Supremacist. I didn\u2019t know who or the details, until now.<\/p>\n

In 2014, that employee paid off an informant known as F-9 to break into National Alliance headquarters and steal 25 boxes of documents \u2014 only to later use the materials to author an article for SPLC\u2019s blog \u201cHatewatch.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The New York Post then goes into detail on what this \u201cF-9\u201d person did and how much he was paid. The SPLC gave him $1.2 million dollars. Gee, if I had known I could make that much, I would have faked being a white supremacist and offered the SPLC my services. I would have cleared it with a lawyer and a tax accountant first of course.<\/p>\n

Beirich, as an SPLC employee, was also alleged to have been \u201cin a romantic relationship with F-9,\u201d where the two shared joint bank accounts and a house, according to the indictment.<\/b><\/p>\n

Can we say kickbacks? Sure we can! I hope the DoJ is combing through her bank accounts to see if ANY of that money made it back to her. Then they can add embezzlement to the charge list as well.<\/p>\n

Beirich, who\u00a0joined the SPLC<\/a>\u00a0in 1999, is the first employee of the Alabama-based nonprofit to have been named as a participant in the wire fraud, bank fraud and money laundering conspiracy.<\/b><\/p>\n

Hopefully, she will be the first of a long list of SPLC employees. That organization needs to be crushed like the continuing criminal enterprise it is. One group that is laughing at all this are, sadly, real white supremacists.<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew it was that fat, ugly hog Heidi Beirich,\u201d National Alliance chairman William White Williams, 78, previously told The Post from his home in east Tennessee, confirming the indictment\u2019s descriptions.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI think some of those cluckers wanted to get out of the movement and they went to the SPLC for help. But instead of helping them, [the SPLC] said, \u2018Why don\u2019t you stay in and get paid?\u2019\u201d he said of informants.<\/b><\/p>\n

I suspect this clown is probably right. People decided that they were wrong and wanted to change their ways. It happens and should be encouraged. If the SPLC had done this and then bragged about it, they probably would have gotten a lot more money in donations.<\/p>\n

Instead, they decided to declare anyone who didn\u2019t tow the Progressive line as a hate group and tried to ruin them. This has led to actual attacks on groups by thugs. I don\u2019t need to go into how they were coordinating with the Holder and Garland DoJ\u2019s to go after what amounted to political enemies of the Democrat party.<\/p>\n

\u201cA free and fair society does not use the justice system to silence its political opponents,\u201d Michael Proctor, the defense attorney, said. \u201cHeidi Beirich has dedicated her life to fighting hate groups and extremist movements like the KKK, neo-Nazis, and other white supremacists.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Was this before or after she started doing the horizontal tango with them?<\/p>\n

\u201cShe has combatted these hateful, ugly, and un-American extremists and their repeated uses of violence and intimidation in order to promote a fairer, safer, and more just America. Her decades-long record of success dismantling hate groups\u2014and the resulting threats to her life\u2014speak volumes. For this, she has been indicted,\u201d he said.<\/b><\/p>\n

No, she was indicted because she was a fraud and was committing fraud. Of course, you\u2019re her defense attorney and it is your job to try and get your client off. I wonder if the DoJ has delivered all the discovery documents they are supposed to send over? If we see her trying to cut a plea deal, then you know her attorney looked at the evidence and knew she was screwed, blued and tattooed. We shall see what happens next. I think this is a good start. It\u2019s time these leftard organizations get some of what they\u2019ve been giving for years.<\/p>\n
