<\/a><\/p>\nThe cases she brought were obviously lawfare and she got them in front of a corrupt judge who had decided the case before one word had been spoken in court. The massive judgment was overturned and the other parts of the case are still waiting for the state Appeals court to get off their asses and issue a ruling. Now a story has come out that has a whistleblower accusing James of abusing her authority. Here are the details from the New York Post<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n A veteran prosecutor in state Attorney General Letitia James\u2019 office claims he was ordered to dig up dirt on people and groups \u201caffiliated with Donald Trump,\u201d according to a bombshell report.<\/b><\/p>\n Daniel Wiesenfeld, a former Brooklyn prosecutor who now works in James\u2019 Investor Protection Bureau, said his boss instructed him \u201cto find and pursue crimes\u201d committed by Trump allies, according to a since-deleted email obtained by the Times-Union<\/a>.<\/p>\n I checked the story in this email by the Times-Union. Apparently, the email was sent out on August 28th<\/sup> and was very quickly recalled and deleted. Here are those details from the Times Union<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n The email sent early Friday by Assistant Attorney General Daniel Wiesenfeld, who officials said has worked for the attorney general\u2019s office for about two years, was quickly deleted from the office\u2019s servers and vanished from the inboxes of more than 2,000 employees.<\/b><\/p>\n A follow-up agency-wide email subsequently sent by Attorney General Letitia James’ general counsel, Kumiki Gibson, informed employees that it was an \u201cinternal\u201d matter and that no one in the office was \u201cin danger,\u201d according to three people familiar with the communication.<\/b><\/p>\n That was a classic \u201cCover My Ass\u201d type of email. The original email simply reinforces what many people have known for years. Letitia James will abuse her position to get anyone she doesn\u2019t like. Returning to the New York Post story<\/a>:<\/p>\n Wiesenfeld alleged in his email on Friday that Bureau Chief Shamiso Maswoswe specifically directed him to target \u201cTrump himself, Truth Social, Hewlett Packard (DOJ approved merger)\u2026 without having a credible reason for targeting the organizations and individuals,\u201d the outlet reported<\/b><\/p>\n I wasn\u2019t aware of that merger. I am familiar with Juniper Networks. It was, basically, a competitor to Cisco Systems. I can\u2019t see an issue with HP buying Juniper Networks. As far as I know, HP doesn\u2019t do networking systems. Now if it had been Cisco, I can see that one being blocked under antitrust laws. Now that email also demonstrates that the New York Attorney General\u2019s office is hopelessly corrupt.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you believe Trump is using the [Department of Justice] attorneys to prosecute his enemies and further his political interests, you should find it equally troubling that Tish [James] is doing exactly the same thing,\u201d Wiesenfeld allegedly wrote in the message, which went to some 2,000 staffers before being yanked.<\/b><\/p>\n That sounds a lot like the pot calling the kettle black to me. We have seen AG James using her office to conduct lawfare against President Trump, his family and his allies, in many cases working with New York Judges who flat out prejudged the cases they were hearing.<\/p>\n Now it was discovered that Letitia James did falsify a number of documents regarding properties she owns, and this was handed over to the DoJ to be investigated. The only reason James isn\u2019t on trial right now or in jail is due to COB judges protecting her.<\/p>\n \u201cI ask you that you not serve as Tish\u2019s personal attorneys by targeting her political enemies,\u201d he allegedly wrote. \u201cInstead, I hope you choose to prosecute crimes and find the individuals accountable, rather than targeting individuals and then finding crimes.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n The New York Post story goes on to detail all the actions James has taken to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d There are also the expected responses from the New York Republican party along with comments by many others regarding this email. What I personally admire was that the whistleblower, Daniel Wiesenfeld, came out publicly, and didn\u2019t demand to be called an \u201cAnonymous Source.\u201d This adds a great deal of credibility to what he is saying.<\/p>\n Now I don\u2019t know what legal actions can be taken against the New York Attorney General\u2019s office and Letitia James. At the very least, she needs to lose her office, either by way of an election or being impeached. James is up for reelection this year and she does have an opponent, Saritha Komatireddy<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sadly, since this is New York, I don\u2019t see Ms. Komatireddy defeating James. If\/When James is reelected, perhaps Attorney General Blanche might revisit James\u2019s actions and activities and see if there is an actual \u201cThere\u201d there. In any case, James needs to go, sooner rather than later and in accordance with all the appropriate laws.
