(More commonly know as the legislature)

The WorldNetDaily has the full story.

By Chelsea Schilling
 © 2009 WorldNetDaily

A “pandemic response bill” currently making its way through the Massachusetts state legislature would allow authorities to forcefully quarantine citizens in the event of a health emergency, compel health providers to vaccinate citizens, authorize forceful entry into private dwellings and destruction of citizen property and impose fines on citizens for noncompliance.

“Pandemic Response Bill” 2028 was passed by the Massachusetts state Senate on April 28 and is now awaiting approval in the House.

This bill is terrifying in its scope. here’s a few of the things they will authorize.

If citizens refuse to comply with isolation or quarantine orders in the event of a health emergency, they may be imprisoned for up to 30 days and fined $1,000 per day that the violation continues

And there goes your right of trial, your right to be secure in your home and person, etc.

To require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises.

Well, you can kiss the 4th Amendment goodbye! They don’t want to bothered with little things Search warrants, court orders or anything that smacks of civil rights.

To restrict or prohibit assemblages of persons

So much for the right of the people peaceably to assemble.

To procure, take immediate possession from any source, store, or distribute any anti-toxins, serums, vaccines, immunizing agents, antibiotics, and other pharmaceutical agents or medical supplies located within the commonwealth as may be necessary to respond to the emergency

So if you have anything you might be saving for your own family’s needs, hand it over! If you are a business like a drug store of pharmaceutical company, you are now the property of the state. Notice there’s no mention of things like compensation to the original owners.

to require in-state health care providers to assist in the performance of vaccination, treatment, examination, or testing of any individual as a condition of licensure, authorization, or the ability to continue to function as a health care provider in the commonwealth.

“Greetings from your benevolent state government. You have just been conscripted into the Massachusetts Medical Service. You will be paid the rate of $100 per month for the duration of your service.” Gee, I thought the 13th Amendment outlawed slavery? Guess I was mistaken.

Yep, That’s going to go over like a lead balloon. Now in an actual emergency, most medical people will do all they can to help out, but they will resist being ordered about by some overbearing bureaucrat with delusions of competence.

To continue…

State and local agencies responding to the public health emergency would be required to exercise their powers over transportation routes, communication devices, carriers, public utilities, fuels, food, clothing and shelter, according to the legislation.

Basically, The Great and General Court of Massachusetts has decided that the time is right to completely toss the constitution out the window and institute a a full blown police state. They are going to allow the state government the ability to seize anything and everything they think they need for whatever reason so long as the “Public Health Emergency” is in effect.

It looks like they will also be able to shut down all forms of communication as well, probably to “Prevent rumors and misinformation being passed along as fact.” So much for the Free speech.

To continue…

Local public health authorities will be required to keep records of reports containing the name and location of all people who have been reported, their disease, injury, or health condition and the name of the person reporting the case. In addition, citizens may be subject to “involuntary transportation.”

Involuntary Transportation? Gee, that has a ring of familiarity to it. Let me see if I can remember…Oh Yes! Now I remember! This sounds an awful lot like stuffing people into box cars and shipping them out for “Resettlement.” When did this last happen? Ever hear of the “Final Solution?”

Let’s see what else Chelsea Schilling has to say…

Law enforcement authorities are authorized to “arrest without warrant any person whom the officer has probable cause to believe has violated an order for isolation or quarantine and shall use reasonable diligence to enforce such order. Any person who knowingly violates an order for isolation or quarantine shall be punished by imprisonment of not more than 30 days and may be subject to a civil fine of not more than $1,000 per day that the violation continues.” (emphasis added)

That sound you are hearing is the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights and all the other amendments being fed into a shredder. There are other bills and laws like this either in effect or going through the legislatures. There is also discussions on making vaccinations for various influenza’s mandatory, but it appears that so far this is just talk.

If you would like to see what happens to people forced to take vaccinations even though they have adverse reactions, then take a look at what happened in the U.S. military when the Clinton administration issued orders for all members of the military to receive Anthrax vaccinations. I know of one person who had a really bad reaction, and should have been given a pass on them. She was badly injured because of these injections and has been suffering ever since.

Now a full blown pandemic is a terrifying thing, but with modern transportation systems infections can spread around the world in a matter of hours. Hoping to contain through the use of police state tactics not only will fail miserably, but will cost lives. People will resist, and even though Massachusetts has pretty much suppressed the Second Amendment, enough people have enough guns that a full blown battle could occur if Police and National Guard units try to force people from their homes.

If this bill is enacted into law it will be challenged in the courts and more then likely be ruled unconstitutional. If the judges decide to allow this blatant attack on the rights of the American people, and the law is activated for some reason, the odds of an outright insurrection becomes a virtual certainty.

A far better method is to keep people informed, make sure that accurate information is available and demonstrate to people why it is in their best interests to work with the medical community. Just going in, crashing doors and dragging people from their beds is going to accomplish nothing but a sudden need for doctors trained in dealing with knife and gunshot wounds.

Call your legislator and tell him or her to put a stop to this nonsense ASAP. Call the office if Governor Deval Patrick and tell him to veto this piece of totalitarian bovine droppings if it arrives on his desk. It’s all in your hands now.

~The Angry Webmaster~

One of the most frightening aspects of the health care debate is this little gem working its way through the Massachusetts Great and General Court.
