Greetings all, Angry Webmaster here with an incredible bit of stupidity from the European Union. For those who don’t know, the EU is basically ruled by a pack of elitist bureaucrats in Brussels, not one of whom has the sense to come in out of the rain.<\/p>\n

In this case, the boneheads have decided that it will be illegal to say that water will keep a person hydrated. Yes, you heard me. It will be illegal in the European Union to advertise that water will keep you from dying of dehydration.<\/p>\n

EU bans claim that water can prevent dehydration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brussels bureaucrats were ridiculed yesterday after banning drink manufacturers from claiming that water can prevent dehydration. EU officials concluded that, following a three-year investigation, there was no evidence to prove the previously undisputed fact.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Producers of bottled water are now forbidden by law from making the claim and will face a two-year jail sentence if they defy the edict, which comes into force in the UK next month.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is what happens when you let inbred bureaucrats loose with no accountability. If you sell someone who is dying of thirst a bottle of water and tell then this will rehydrate them, you will be arrested and imprisoned.<\/p>\n

Last night, critics claimed the EU was at odds with both science and common sense. Conservative MEP Roger Helmer said: \u201cThis is stupidity writ large.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Gee minister, ya think?? It’s high time the British tell the EU rulers in Brussels to go pound sand. Of course there is a small problem with that. The Nazi’s<\/del><\/em> Germans have stated their intent to destroy the British Pound. Needless to say that is going over like a lead balloon in England.<\/p>\n

BRITAIN will soon be forced to scrap the pound and join the euro, one of Germany\u2019s most senior figures said yesterday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a chilling threat to UK sovereignty, German finance minister Wolfgang Schauble predicted that all Europe would one day use the single currency. \u201cIt will happen perhaps faster than some in the British Isles currently believe,\u201d he said. His sinister warning followed the emergence of a secret German plan to build a powerful new economic government for the eurozone and block an EU referendum in Britain.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It seems every generation Germany tries to pull something like this and gets their collective heads handed to them. It sounds like the Brits are getting ready to fire up the Spitfires<\/a> and Hurricanes<\/a> once again to teach the dirty Huns yet another lesson in manners.<\/p>\n

Last night British opponents of the EU were horrified by the bellicose threat to Britain\u2019s economic independence.
\nTory MP Peter Bone said: \u201cI would be happy to have a bet with the German finance minister that the euro will disappear before the pound. It is a completely absurd suggestion that will never happen.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

At the rate things are going over there, I think the EU will collapse in 2-4 years. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of idiots, and I do mean idiots.<\/p>\n

Dr Schauble, who has used a wheelchair since being shot in an assassination attempt in 1990, is nicknamed \u201cDr Strangelove\u201d in diplomatic circles.<\/p>\n

In his astonishing outburst yesterday, he insisted he \u201crespected\u201d Britain\u2019s decision to remain outside the euro. But he claimed that the UK would ultimately not be able to resist the tide of history. His warning came amid a furious outpouring of anti-British sentiment in Berlin. Top-selling newspaper Bild asked: \u201cWhat is England still doing in the EU?\u201d while another paper branded Britain \u201cthe sick empire\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Time to break out the Lancasters<\/a> as well it seems. My guess is this will finally drive the pro European Union types out of the British government. I really don’t see the British submitting to Europe after all these centuries. We shall see of course.<\/p>\n
