Good day all, I hope you are recovering nicely from your turkey coma. \ud83d\ude42 For those of you insane enough to hit the Malls, today is what has become know as Black Friday. This is the first \u201cOfficial\u201d shopping day of the Christmas season.<\/p>\n
Today, millions of bargain hunting shoppers, primarily female, all of whom will be heavily armed with high capacity handbags, will be storming the gates of the local retail stores and shopping malls. (This includes Mrs. Webmaster. She may be small, but she\u2019s dangerous when shopping!) To put it bluntly, Black Friday shoppers are nuts. ((Woman pepper sprays other Black Friday shoppers))<\/p>\n
Into this nightmare comes the Occupy Whatever protestors. Since their protests have enjoyed such widespread support, (This was a sarcastic remark. AW.<\/em>), they have come up with the absolutely brilliant idea to \u201cOccupy Black Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n From Fox News:<\/p>\n A campaign under the name “Occupy Black Friday” is trying to enlist supporters to boycott just about every major retailer, and quite a few mid-sized ones, the day after Thanksgiving. The protesters are casting a wide net, urging people to demonstrate against the top retail stores — a list that includes everything from Wal-Mart to Target to Dick’s Sporting Goods to Dollar Tree.<\/p>\n “The idea is simple, hit the corporations that corrupt and control American politics where it hurts, their profits,” the group’s Facebook page reads, describing Black Friday as the “one day where the mega-corporations blatantly dictate our actions.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Once again, the worthless dregs of humanity are showing their complete lack of common sense by disrupting the biggest shopping day of the year. Forget getting a face full of pepper spray from a cop, they will be lucky if their remains can be identified without the use of DNA testing. ((Picture an earthworm in front of a heard of stampeding elephants<\/strong>))<\/p>\n Of course, the Occupy Whatever idiots, being, well, idiots, aren\u2019t considering what might happen if they do succeed in shutting down the stores. Thousands of people will lose their jobs. Then they will lose their homes, cars, etc. The unemployment rate will increase significantly and the national debt will skyrocket faster than Greece\u2019s.<\/p>\n Retailers, who are monitoring the mini-movement, warn that a blanket boycott could end up hurting local communities.<\/p>\n “Retailers, regardless of their size, are an important part of the community, and they employ friends and neighbors of that community across the country,” said Joseph LaRocca, a senior adviser to the National Retail Federation specializing in loss prevention.<\/p>\n Do you really think the OWS ninnies care one wit about others Mr. LaRocca?<\/p>\n He said retailers have security plans in place and will “work through” any protests and disruptions that occur this weekend.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Considering the normal mess security has to deal with at these stores, I\u2019m assuming water cannon and rubber bullets. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n While warning that boycotts could hurt workers, LaRocca said that retailers are preparing for a “very busy day” and weekend, and that it doesn’t yet appear the Occupy Black Friday push will turn into a massive boycott. As of Tuesday afternoon, the group’s Facebook page had about 1,250 supporters.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n That works out to less than one suicidal idiot per store. When the heard starts stampeding, all that will remain for the protestor is the crushed remnants of a Macbook, Ipod, Ipad and a red greasy spot on the pavement.<\/p>\n A post on the Occupy Black Friday website claims the campaign is not an attempt to punish “small businesses or hardworking people.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Bovine droppings. The Occupy Whatever clowns are lazy, good for nothing bums who want others to take care of them, especially since Mommy and Daddy kicked them out of the house and cut off their credit cards.<\/p>\n Tony Boicourt, the co-founder of the Facebook page, said he’s urging people to boycott ‘mega retailers,’ which oftentimes only hire seasonal workers during the holidays.<\/p>\n “If everyone were to just start buying local, or American more jobs would be created here helping the U.S. economy rather than creating mass jobs in other countries that these huge retailers use for cheap manufacturing,” Boicourt wrote in an email to FoxNews.com.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n And Boicourt shows his complete lack of understanding of how the free enterprise system actually works. He and the other Occupy Whatever clowns want to have guaranteed lifetime jobs that they can\u2019t be fired from. They had this in the old Soviet Union. People would pretend to work and the government, (Which owned the means of production), pretended to pay them. So tell me Tony, how are things in the USSR now? Oh wait, you can\u2019t. The USSR disintegrated in 1991 when it\u2019s economy finally collapsed.<\/p>\n You know, I really do hope these \u201cOccupy Black Friday\u201d morons do try to disrupt the shoppers.
