Obomney\u2019s organization hasn\u2019t been helping its self with things like Norm Coleman saying Obomney has no intention of repealing Obamacare ((Romney won\u2019t repeal Obamacare<\/a>)), and this little turd he dropped this morning:<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there,\u201d Romney told CNN. \u201cIf it needs repair, I\u2019ll fix it. I\u2019m not concerned about the very rich, they\u2019re doing just fine. I\u2019m concerned about the very heart of the America, the 90 percent, 95 percent of Americans who right now are struggling.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n From what I hear, this isn\u2019t in context and Obomney was tired from last nights partying. Still, it shows a complete lack of thinking on his party. I do believe the phrase \u201cWhat the HELL was he thinking?\u201d might be appropriate. I hope he likes the taste of shoe leather. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n Now my predictions.<\/p>\n If Obomney wins the nomination, it is possible that a large number of conservative and Tea party voters may stay home. That would guarantee a win by Obama. That might also cause problems on the state and local levels as well with Republican candidates trying to take back the senate and build on their 2010 results. God help us if the Democrats keep the Senate and regain the house! Speaker Pelosi again? EEEEEEEK!<\/p>\n Now I have said I will not vote for Obomney under any circumstances and I meant it. However I WILL show up at the polls to take care of the lower level offices. For president, I would just write in someone I like. I\u2019ve been telling anyone else who has said they will sit this out that they must make sure Obama at least loses the Senate, the House stays republican and the state elections continue crushing the Democrats. Anything else is just plain stupid.<\/p>\n Even if the base doesn\u2019t stay home, there\u2019s still a good chance that Obama will win. However, if he does lose the senate and the house goes further into the republican column, then we have a chance of stopping Obama and possibly removing him from office. His contempt for the rule of law and the Constitution long ago rose to the level of impeachable offenses. With Eric Holder looking at a contempt of Congress charge, Obama needs to keep control of at least one part of congress to avoid a special prosecutor and impeachment.<\/p>\n Now, if Obomney doesn\u2019t get all the delegates he needs to win the nomination, then we have a brokered convention and all bets are off. It\u2019s possible he might still win the nomination in a floor fight, or the delegates could give it to one of the others. It\u2019s also possible we would see a draft movement and one of the up and comers is nominated. ((Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Marco Rubio, Alan West, etc<\/strong>))<\/p>\n If that happens, Obama\u2019s chances of a second term go through the floor and the odds of him retiring to a maximum security prison go through the roof. ((I can hope, can\u2019t I?<\/strong>))<\/p>\n Now, what happens if Obomney gains the nomination and manages to beat Obama? From previous history, Obomney will not be much of an improvement. As I\u2019ve mentioned, his minions are saying that the idea of repealing Obamacare is silly. Obomney will do the usual RINO thing of \u201cCrossing the aisle\u201d to work with the Democrats. What this means is he will drop trou, bend over and tell the Democrats to do whatever they like to him. ((Of course Barney Frank will be out of office by then<\/strong>)) If Obomney doesn\u2019t make the structural changes that this country requires and most people are demanding, at best he will be a one term president and the Republican party will probably collapse and a new third party comes into being.<\/p>\n Now a lot of pundits don\u2019t see how a third party could happen. They need to study a little history. The Republican party came into being as a third party, going from nothing to the White House in 6 years. In all probability, if a third party starts, it will be based on the Tea party movement. They are pretty close to becoming a party if they wanted to. (Currently they do not)<\/p>\n If the Tea Party became a formal political party, you might see a large number of politicians who they have helped into office bolt the Republican party and some of the big money people leaving as well. If say the Koch brothers told the Republicans to take a hike and started giving their money to the new party, the Republicans would probably be history in 2-3 election cycles. All those former Republican pundits would be out in the streets and ignored by pretty much everybody.<\/p>\n Now on the worse case scenarios, If Obama wins and either maintains control of the Senate and\/or regains the House, I would expect an outright civil war by 2014 with all the horrors that entails. Without a doubt, the Federal Government would lose and Washington DC would be pretty much burned to the ground. (I don\u2019t see the museums and historical places being damaged, only the bureaucracies offices buildings) For years people have been saying this was going to happen, but they\u2019ve been out on the fringes, right where they belong.<\/p>\n However, a lot of really smart people are noticing that this talk is not staying out in the fringes any longer, it\u2019s moving in towards the center. What you are hearing now are people who know just how bad a civil war would be and don\u2019t want it to happen, saying that they don\u2019t see any alternatives if we continue the way we are going. A large number of these people are former military and have stated they will follow the oath they took when they were sworn in. ((The part about \u201cEnemies, foreign and DOMESTIC<\/a>))<\/p>\n Scary stuff, and something I think has to be avoided. An all out civil war could kill millions, and most of them would be people on the political left. They have been delusional in how the world works and frankly, most of them won\u2019t touch guns. The people they have been insulting, badgering and threatening for decades also happen to be the most heavily armed segment of the American population and they know how to use their guns.<\/p>\n Like I said, delusional.<\/p>\n So what happens next? We go on with the Primary season and see what shakes out. I\u2019m hoping for the best, but I expect the worse. I have my pen all set for my write in on the ballot in November.
