Good evening all. A few weeks ago I blacked out the main site and posted a graphic<\/a> saying the blog was being blocked. These were my protests against<\/a> SOPA and it\u2019s senate counterpart PIPA. I\u2019m happy to say that they protest was a success and these acts have been stymied…for now.<\/p>\n

The house version, SOPA was put forth and pushed by Representative Lamar Smith, (RINO-TX). He was basically bought and paid for by the entertainment industry who wrote these pieces of drek that would have all bu collapsed the internet. Smith has flat out refused to budge on his bill, and has basically doubled down, accusing anyone who stood against it of being pirates. Smith is one of those people former Senator and now head of the RIAA, Christopher Dodd was talking about when he let the cat out of the bag regarding donations. Long story short, Dumb ass Dodd said that the entertainment industry paid good money for SOPA and he wanted it passed. Basically he admitted that the RIAA and MPAA were bribing members of congress. A petition<\/a> to start an investigation was started to determine if a crime had been committed.<\/p>\n

Now, at the time I wondered if Lamer Smith had a primary opponent. I wanted him gone from congress. I was even ready to hand the seat over to a member of the criminal<\/em><\/span> Democrat party just to get rid of him. Well, I found a posting on CNET News<\/a> this morning by Declan Mccullagh CBS Writer<\/a>. He is introducing the tech world to Richard Mack, a retired Arizona sheriff who moved to Texas. He has announced his intent to challenge Lamer in the Republican Primary.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mack is a Constitutional Conservative Republican. Besides being 100% against SOPA, he also opposes the Patriot act and a number of other laws that Lamer has voted for and supported. Here\u2019s a few choice bits from the CNET article<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Richard Mack, an Arizona sheriff who retired to Fredericksburg, Texas, is a self-described “constitutional conservative” with a long history of supporting causes close to the hearts of Republican primary voters, including states’ rights, individual rights, and Second Amendment rights.<\/p>\n

Because Smith heads the House committee charged with writing copyright law, he’s become Hollywood’s favorite congressional Republican<\/a>. The TV, movie, and music industries are the top donors to Smith’s 2012 reelection committee, according to data complied by the Center for Responsive Politics, and Smith endorsed a 2002 proposal allowing Hollywood to hack into the PCs of Americans suspected of illicit file sharing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yep, Lamer is a right proper scumbag pretending to be a Republican. I\u2019m liking Mr. Mack more and more. So what else is there about him? Well he is a member of the Oath Keepers ((About the Oath Keepers<\/a>)) which is an American nonprofit organization that advocates that its members (current and former U.S. military and law enforcement) uphold the Constitution of the United States should they be ordered to violate it.<\/p>\n

What this means is, if they are given an order that violates the constitution, they will not obey it. This ties into the oath that all members of the military and law enforcement give when being sworn in. The Oath reads:<\/p>\n

“I, XXXXXXXXXX, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They key parts here are \u201cSupport and Defend the Constitution.\u201d Believe me when I say that the Military takes that oath seriously. As a Representative to Congress from the State of Texas. Mr. Mack will not vote in favor of laws that are not constitutional and will work to repeal others that are now on the books that should be stricken.<\/p>\n

If you are in Texas, I would ask you to do all you can to help Mr. Richard Mack become Representative Richard Mack and send that useless scumbag Lamer Smith into retirement.<\/p>\n
