Good day all. Last week, His Most Imperial Majesty, Barack the Magnificent, (Known to everyone else as President Obama, and recently, Der Fubar), was crowing on about the latest unemployment numbers.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A fair number of people are seriously questioning the numbers and how they were generated. Basically, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, (BLS), only counts those actively looking for work. It doesn\u2019t count those who have exhausted their unemployment insurance, those who are only working part time but want full time jobs and those who have just given up and have gone on to some form of welfare. Here are a few pertinent details from Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Labor Department reported Friday the economy added 120,000 jobs last month, compared to more than 200,000 in each of the previous three months.<\/p>\n

The unemployment rate dropped to 8.2 percent, the lowest since January 2009, but the decrease was attributed to fewer people searching for jobs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In other words, people gave up looking.<\/p>\n

Still the president praised the report while speaking at a White House conference on women and the economy, even as GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and other Republican leaders responded negatively.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe welcome today\u2019s news,\u201d the president said. \u201cBut there will still be ups and downs along the way.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mostly, it\u2019s down. Mittens Obomny, (That would be Governor Mitt Romney) was having none of it.<\/p>\n

Romney, the front-runner in the GOP race, called the jobs data \u201cweak and very troubling.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMore and more people are growing so discouraged that they are dropping out of the labor force altogether. \u2026 The president\u2019s excuses have run out.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Oh I really doubt that Governor Obomney. Der Fubar will never run out of lies and excuses, and with the cover given to him by most of the media, people will not know just how bad it is. (Or so the Scoamf hopes) Now others in congress are staring to call out both Obama and the BLS.<\/p>\n

While the Labor Department reports a surge in private-sector hiring and the nation’s unemployment rate holding steady at 8.3 percent, a closer look at the numbers paints a less flattering picture of the country’s post-recession growth.<\/p>\n

The latest report for February shows lingering economic disparities among different segments of the population. And, as has been the case for decades, the unemployment rate used by the Bureau of Labor Statistics does not tell the whole story.<\/p>\n

Counting only those Americans who are actively looking for work, the jobless rate is 8.3 percent, just like it was in January. But counting those who stopped looking for work within the last year, the rate is 9.8 percent. And counting all of the above, plus those who settled for part-time jobs, the rate is 14.9 percent.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Actually, I suspect it\u2019s a bit higher than that. I\u2019ve heard it reported that the actual unemployment\/underemployment rate is closer to 20%. In some areas of the country, it\u2019s over 50%. These are depression level unemployment numbers, so you can see why the Obama Tyranny would want to hide them.<\/p>\n

“Everybody who has friends knows it’s higher,” Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., told Fox News.<\/p>\n

Hunter is pushing legislation that would require the Bureau of Labor Statistics to broaden its definition for the unemployment rate. He wants the department to count those who stopped looking for work as well, which would put last month’s rate at 9.8 percent.<\/p>\n

“We just want to know what the truth is, because we can’t make good policy here unless we know what the actual unemployment number is,” Hunter told Fox News on Thursday, ahead of the latest labor report release. “It’s not 8 percent — anybody who’s out there in the real world knows that. We need real numbers, not D.C. numbers.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And for the gift that keeps on giving, the Democrat Committee Chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman, (D- Delusional), couldn\u2019t resist out-lying Der Fubar.<\/p>\n

From the Washington Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Democratic National Committee<\/a> Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz<\/a> said Sunday that Republicans would rather defeat President Obama<\/a> than see the American economy improve.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s really bothersome to me is that it almost seems like my Republican colleagues in Congress<\/a> and Mitt Romney<\/a> are rooting for economic failure,\u201d the Florida congresswoman said in an appearance on CNN<\/a>\u2019s \u201cState of the Union.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve been hyper-focused on one job, Barack Obama<\/a>\u2018s, for really the last two years. And we all need to be pulling together to focus on moving the economy forward for the middle class and for working families,\u201d she said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No you blithering idiot, they want to see the economy explode upwards and have put forward a number of ideas on how to do this. All of them have been shot down in the Senate, if that cretin Slimy Harry Reid even lets the bills come to a vote. Of course, this lying dried out moonbat has to double down:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve now had 25 straight months of private-sector job growth. \u2026 I\u2019d say we\u2019re making slow but steady progress,\u201d Ms. Wasserman Schultz<\/a> said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No, you moron, we haven\u2019t. The only growth we\u2019ve seen is in the government sector as Obama has been expanding the public sector exponentially. Wasserman had some help in her fabrications from Senator Richard, \u201cDurbin the Turban\u201d Durbin:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had \u2026 seven straight months where the unemployment rate has either gone down or not gone up. We\u2019ve had 26 months of economic growth. We\u2019re on the right track,\u201d he said on NBC\u2019s \u201cMeet the Press.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Governor John Kasich corrected Durbin on the same show:<\/p>\n

But on the same program, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a Republican, ripped the Obama administration\u2019s handling of the economy, accusing it of merely piling up debt.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, we don\u2019t want to be Greece. We don\u2019t want to be places where people are rioting because we waited so long to get things fixed,\u201d said Mr. Kasich, who served in Congress<\/a> from 1983 to 2001.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was in D.C. \u2026 we balanced the budget in 1997 without a tax increase. The fact is, they just want to keep spending in that city. And it\u2019s not going to get us where we need to get.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One of the things all these people forget in DC is that those who have been out of work for a long time may never be able to get back into the job market. Not because they don\u2019t want to, but due to a large number of companies and agencies that say \u201cWell you haven\u2019t been working for 6 months, so we don\u2019t see you as a good fit.\u201d<\/p>\n

When I was out for the better part of a year, I ran into that a few times myself. The implication was that you were lazy and didn\u2019t really want a job. At one point, when a recruiter said that to me, I nearly bit her head off. I had been \u201cworking\u201d with that agency for months, but every recruiter I dealt with either was fired or resigned. I wasn\u2019t able to build up any kind of relationship. This is one reason I\u2019ve been looking for a new job while I was still employed. I\u2019ve never really recovered financially from the last time.<\/p>\n

Being out of work for most people is a terrifying thing. You keep sending out resumes and either never hear back or the list of requirements are so extreme and they pay rate so low that you know they won\u2019t find anyone.<\/p>\n

I know of one company that has been doing this for a while. They have been low-balling salaries and misrepresenting the positions. New people come in and find out that what they signed on for isn\u2019t what is actually happening. They quit soon after starting, sometimes just walking into the HR department and saying they resign as of now and walk out the door. Because of the attitude of the management and HR people in this company, they have dozens of openings and no way to fill them. They won\u2019t look at people out of work for more than a month and so end up with a very shallow pool of candidates.<\/p>\n

If Obama and his cronies get a second term, Obama will so over regulate the economy that it will collapse.<\/p>\n
