Good day all. While rooting around the Drudge Report<\/a> I saw this headline: \u201cPolice accused of failing to investigate paedophile ((UK English spelling)) gang for fear of appearing racist\u201d When I saw that I followed the link and was horrified at what I read.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The story is in the Telegraph and goes into how the Manchester police and the Crown Prosecution Service, (The equivalent of our District Attorneys), due to a fear of being called racist allowed up to 50 teen girls to be repeatedly raped, even though some of these girls went to the police for help.<\/p>\n

Here are the details<\/a> as written by Nigel Bunyan<\/a> for the Telegraph<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Police and social workers were last night accused of failing to investigate an Asian paedophile gang for fear of being perceived as racist, allowing them to prey on up to 50 young white girls.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A slight aside here. When the British refer to Asians, they aren\u2019t talking about just people from the Pacific rim. (Japan, China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand, etc) They also include India, Pakistan and the Middle East which Americans don\u2019t do. We think of people from the Middle East as Arabs, Indians, Pakistani, Iranian\/Persian, Muslims, or the Enemy. This tendency of the British to include the Middle East has confused Americans in the past, including Michelle Malkin, who actually IS Asian descended. ((Philipino-American))<\/p>\n

Now back to the story.<\/p>\n

The nine men from Rochdale were yesterday convicted of abusing five vulnerable teenagers after plying them with alcohol, food and small sums of money in return for sex. However, the true number of victims, who were “passed around” by the gang, is likely to be nearer to 50, police have admitted. Greater Manchester Police and the Crown Prosecution Service have now apologised after they failed to bring the case of the first victim – Girl A – to trial following her cry for help in August 2008.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

2008? This kid was being assaulted four YEARS after she reported the attacks and these useless scum did NOTHING????<\/p>\n

Girl A told police that she had been raped and provided DNA evidence from her attacker, however the CPS twice decided not to prosecute him.<\/p>\n

The 15 year-old’s abuse continued and at its height she was being driven to flats and houses to be raped by up to five men a night, four or five days a week. She was singled out because she was white, vulnerable and under-age. Her ordeal only ended when her teachers forced social workers to intervene after she fell pregnant and they became concerned by the number of Asian men picking her up from school.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So how was this allowed to happen?<\/p>\n

Complaints to social workers and the police were ignored because they were “petrified of being called racist”, former Labour MP for Keighley Ann Cryer said. Mrs Cryer, who has campaigned to bring the issue of Asian sex gangs to light, said the girls had been “betrayed” and condemned to “untold misery” by the police and social services.<\/p>\n

“This is an absolute scandal. They were petrified of being called racist and so reverted to the default of political correctness,” she said. “They had a greater fear of being perceived in that light than in dealing with the issues in front of them.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Wonderful. These politically correct cowards were so terrified of being called racist that they allowed underage girls to be gang raped and worse.<\/p>\n

One 13 year-old victim became pregnant and had the child aborted while another was forced to have sex with 20 men in one night, Liverpool Crown Court heard.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Finally, someone grew a spine and a pair of testicles and went after these vermin on two legs.<\/p>\n

Kabeer Hassan, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Rauf, Mohammed Sajid, Adil Khan, Abdul Qayyum, Mohammed Amin, Hamid Safi and a 59-year-old man who cannot be named for legal reasons were yesterday found guilty of running a child exploitation ring at Liverpool Crown Court.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And this being England, the now toothless lion, they will be given minimum sentences in a low security prison where there every need will be catered to. I will say that their trials were not without a few issues.<\/p>\n

It can be reported that the trial was delayed by two weeks when two Asian barristers quit the case due to intimidation by far right groups outside Liverpool Crown Court. And a tweet from BNP leader Nick Griffin almost caused the trial to collapse when it led to allegations of the jury having a “far-right bias”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I don\u2019t know who Nick Griffin is or anything at all about the BNP. You can look it up if you\u2019re interested. However, take any accusations of someone being on the \u201cFar Right\u201d in Europe with a grain of salt. By American standards, provided they aren\u2019t real racists, (KKK, Neo-Nazi\u2019s, Skinheads, white supremacists, etc), they might be more along the lines of a Patrick J. Buchanan.<\/p>\n

The story also has a video embedded in it from the local police basically making excuses. There are more details further in the story about how the police, prosecutors and what we would call Social Services totally dropped the ball and how they are denying they did it due to fear of being called racists. What they should consider is what the reaction to something like this happening in the United States would have been.<\/p>\n

Demands that the officials involved in this fiasco be summarily fired, probable criminal charges against them, a good chance of a good old fashioned lynch mob going after the perpetrators and probably the incompetent bureaucrats. I won\u2019t say this can\u2019t happen here, but the blow back against the officials who allowed it to happen would be very severe.<\/p>\n

What happened in the UK was political correctness run amuck. It\u2019s what the Progressives want to have happen here. Thankfully we have certain checks and balances in place that most other countries don\u2019t have. When things start to get really out of whack Americans start whacking the causes of the problems. Just ask soon to be former United States Senator Richard Lugar. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
