You are probably a right wing terrorist. On this day, July 4th<\/sup>, a day that we celebrate the founding of this great nation, a new report has been released by the Department of Homeland Security. If you believe in individual liberty, you will be deemed a domestic threat.<\/p>\n

No I am not joking. This report was funded by DHS and has now been made public. The story broke on Infowars<\/a> and has since been picked up by the Drudge Report<\/a>. I doubt it will go any further since the Obama Steno Pool ((Hat tip to Emperor Misha of the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler<\/a> for that one)), better known as the Main Stream Media agrees with the conclusions. Here are the details from a story by Paul Joseph Watson of Infowars<\/a>:<\/p>\n

A new study funded by the Department of Homeland Security characterizes Americans who are \u201csuspicious of centralized federal authority,\u201d and \u201creverent of individual liberty\u201d as \u201cextreme right-wing\u201d terrorists.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Only in the paranoid mind of Janet Incompetano and the others of Der Fubar\u2019s corrupt regime could someone who believes in the founding principles of this country be considered a threat.<\/p>\n

Entitled Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States, 1970-2008 <\/em>(PDF<\/a>), the study was produced by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the University of Maryland. The organization was launched with the aid of DHS funding to the tune of $12 million dollars.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, there\u2019s another $12 million on my tax dollars into the pockets of some fascist crony of The ScoaMF\u2019s. Now I\u2019m sure they also included real threats to the United States, not just their own personal enemies. Yeah, umm, no.<\/p>\n

While largely omitting Islamic terrorism –the report fails completely to mention<\/a> the 1993 World Trade Center bombing \u2013 the study focuses on Americans who hold beliefs shared by the vast majority of conservatives and libertarians and puts them in the context of radical extremism. This ranks right down there with the warning that returning US Soldiers should also be considered a potential terrorist threat ((Homeland Security Classifies Returning US Veterans as Potential Terrorist Threat<\/a>)).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
