Now that The Dread Backstabber Roberts screwed the nation an upheld Obamacare, people are demanding that it be repealed forthwith, myself included. Fox News asked<\/a> an interesting question. What do we do after it\u2019s repealed?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This is a very good question, but it\u2019s really nothing more than an attempt by the hard left Democrats, (Are there any other kind?), to scare people into keeping this nightmare. It isn\u2019t going to work no matter how much the Democrats and the Obama Steno pool keep pushing this meme.<\/p>\n

Still, it is a good idea to consider what to do after Obamacare is tossed, much like Obama himself, on the ash heap of history. First things first and that is the actual repeal. It\u2019s really very simple no matter how hard the scum and villainy<\/em><\/span> politicians claim it is. It will only take 1-2 pages. It will say something along the lines of:<\/p>\n

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, all taxes and all regulations associated with this act are hereby repealed. All personnel and departments created to administer the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, collect any and all taxes for this act are to be terminated within 60 days of the passage of this bill into law.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now there will be some additional verbiage and tweaking of the bill to utterly destroy Obamacare, but all in all it will be rather simple to write. What this will do is roll everything back to just before this monstrosity was rammed down our throats. Since most of the \u201cfeatures\u201d of Obamacare have not been activated, we won\u2019t be losing anything.<\/p>\n

As to replacing ObamaNoCare? I have a few thoughts. First, allow insurance companies to compete across state lines. Right now they can\u2019t. This will allow people to have a far greater selection of insurance plans. It will also increase the risk pool for insurance companies. The second recommendation is to cancel tax breaks for companies giving insurance to their employees. This was set up during World War 2 since companies supplying the war effort couldn\u2019t give employees more money. (Thank FDR for that one) This policy continues on to this day and traps workers. Instead, give the tax deductions to the workers themselves. Let them buy their own insurance. They can find a plan that fits their needs and probably at a lower cost. Also those plans would be portable so if a worker wanted to move to another job, he or she wouldn\u2019t need to consider insurance benefits.<\/p>\n

Another fix is to end mandated coverage. If you look at your current plans, you will be stunned at the things that are covered that you will never use. For instance, I don\u2019t need birth control drugs and I don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to need to worry about pregnancy and childbirth. A woman might want those options. On the flip side she won\u2019t need coverage for prostate exams. Let people select what they need and then make sure the insurance companies don\u2019t try playing games. (They follow their contracts or get hammered)<\/p>\n

Another thing that would help cut costs is talking all the medical trial lawyers out and burning them at the stake. Ok, we can\u2019t do that but we can have tort reform with regards to medical malpractice. In states where this has been done, insurances costs have gone down significantly. (A full overhaul of the legals system is also something that should be looked at, but that\u2019s for another day)<\/p>\n

These are just a few basic ideas. Does it cover every single situation? Of course it doesn\u2019t. It will help start the ball rolling and in the case of tort reform and letting insurance companies sell across state lines, can be done easily.<\/p>\n

We also need to look into Medicare and Medicade, people with pre-existing conditions and those who are to stupid to get insurance. Now there are those who can\u2019t afford insurance and there are simple and far less costly ways of helping them out. For many people, getting a high deductible health insurance plan would be perfect. You pay for the first X dollars in medical costs and the insurance takes care of the rest. You put money into an account and use that money to pay for your medical care until you reach the maximum. If you don\u2019t use the money, then it just keeps growing and getting interest. This is the insurance I have and it\u2019s fine for me. In fact just before I posted this, I had to see my doctor about a tetanus shot do to a minor mishap in the house. I didn\u2019t go to the emergency room and will probably cost me $125. If I had gone to the emergency room, that charge would have been in the 4 figure range very easily and I wold have had to wait their for several hours. I was in and out of my doctor\u2019s office in 15 minutes.<\/p>\n

Obamacare was NEVER about healthcare. It was all about power and totalitarian control of the people by the federal government. Roberts failed utterly to understand what the constitution was written for. It was meant to LIMIT government not allow unlimited expansion. That alone means he needs to be removed from the bench.<\/p>\n

Perhaps we can have a twofer. Repeal Obamacare and impeach John Roberts and the other 4 statist totalitarians. November 6th<\/sup> 2012 is the day we send Der Fubar to the showers and in January we toss this POS into the nearest incinerator.<\/p>\n
