Sometimes, the good guys do win one, even in Chicago. Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. Son of famed race mongering poverty pimp The Reverend Jesse Jackson is working on a plea deal with the Federal Government.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Now I knew that Jr. was spending some quality time in a mental ward for various reasons, and that the idiots in his district had just reelected him. I didn\u2019t know that they were looking to toss his crazy ass into jail too. Here are some of the details from CBS Chicago<\/a>:<\/p>\n

A former U.S. attorney representing embattled Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is negotiating a plea deal with the federal government, CBS 2 has learned. The plea deal would end Jackson\u2019s 17-year career as a congressman representing Chicago\u2019s South Side and suburbs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Representing? More like looting if you ask me. So what does the deal entail?<\/p>\n

The tentative deal includes:<\/p>\n

\u2013Jackson resigning for health reasons.<\/p>\n

\u2013His pleading guilty to charges involving misuse of campaign funds.<\/p>\n

\u2013The congressman\u2019s repayment of any contributions that were converted to personal use, such as home furnishings, improper travel or gifts.<\/p>\n

At least some jail time would appear to be inevitable for Jackson, the son of civil-rights icon Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. and spouse of Chicago 7th Ward Ald. Sandi Jackson.<\/p>\n

Jackson\u2019s pension for 17 years in Congress would be between 65,000 and $80,000 a year, plus health benefits. But he\u2019s only 47 and won\u2019t be eligible for pension payouts until 62.<\/p>\n

Jackson\u2019s pension is also part of the current negotiations.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now there\u2019s a surprise…not! Of course this nutjob wants to keep his pension. He\u2019s crooked and crazy, not stupid. Well, since he was caught, I guess he is stupid.<\/p>\n

If Jackson resigns, as expected, a special election will determine his successor. Jackson himself replaced the disgraced U.S. Rep. Mel Reynolds in 1995.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Looks like the standard Chicago tradition in political successions. The current office holder gets busted and sent to jail, and they have a special election for the next corrupt Chicago office holder. You know what really sickens me? Just how dumb his constituents are. Dumber than a box of rocks doesn\u2019t cover it. Jackson has been missing in action, so to speak, in the house of representatives for most of this year. I\u2019m guessing that he was working on his insanity defense to try and keep his butt out of jail and away from his son to be \u201cNewest best friend and jailhouse husband, Rocko.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goodbye and good riddance I say. Hopefully the DA won\u2019t let him keep that pension he so richly does NOT deserve.<\/p>\n
