<\/a>Since the re-election of His Hindmost, King Putt the SCoaMF, a number of people decided to put up petitions asking for the peaceful secession of the petitioning state. This started on November 7th<\/sup> with a petition put up by someone identified only as \u201cMichael E\u201d in Louisiana. Since this started, petitions have been created for all 50 states. Several have reached the 25K signatures required for review.<\/p>\nHere are some of the details from the Daily Caller<\/a>:<\/p>\n How would Old Glory look with 30 stars instead of 50? As far-fetched as it may sound, the White House might soon be forced by its own rules to examine the question.<\/p>\n On Nov.7, the day after President Barack Obama was re-elected, the White House\u2019s website received a petition asking the administration to allow Louisiana to secede.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n This was obviously set up by someone to blow off some steam and show his disappointment with the re-election of the most incompetent and corrupt president in history. I\u2019m sure the originator didn\u2019t expect a lot of signatures. Well, as of this posting, the original petition has blown passed the 25K requirement. In fact, a lot of people are signing these petitions. Again from the Daily Caller<\/a>:<\/p>\n Less than a week after a New Orleans suburbanite petitioned the White House<\/a> to allow Louisiana to secede from the United States, petitions from seven states have collected enough signatures to trigger a promised review from the Obama administration.<\/p>\n By 6:00 a.m. EST Wednesday, more than 675,000 digital signatures appeared on 69 separate secession petitions covering all 50 states, according to a Daily Caller analysis of requests lodged with the White House\u2019s \u201cWe the People\u201d online petition system.<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n This should send a wake up call to the morons in the political power structure in Washington, D.C. People are frightened at the exploding debt and the way Obama and the others are stealing our liberties and rights.<\/p>\n A petition from Vermont, where talk of secession is a regular feature of political life, was the final entry.<\/p>\n Petitions from Alabama<\/a>, Florida<\/a>, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina<\/a>, Tennessee<\/a> and Texas<\/a> residents have accrued at least 25,000 signatures, the number the Obama administration says it will reward with a staff review of online proposals.<\/p>\n The Texas petition leads all others by a wide margin. Shortly before 9:00 a.m. EST Wednesday, it had attracted 94,700 signatures. But a spokesperson for Gov. Rick Perry said Tuesday afternoon that he does not support the idea of his state striking out on its own.<\/p>\n \u201cGov. Perry believes in the greatness of our Union and nothing should be done to change it. But he also shares the frustrations many Americans have with our federal government,\u201d according to a statement from the governor\u2019s office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n I guess that Governor Perry has forgotten a few things. First, Texas was an independent republic for several years after the Texans defeated Mexico. He also seems to have forgotten his own comments regarding the possibility of Texas seceding.<\/p>\n [youtuber youtube=’http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DzbdugWJbNo’]<\/p>\n Of course, the Moonbats can\u2019t have anyone talk about leaving the Union. That would mean that the most productive people would no longer be available to be plundered by the Liberal Progressives and their useless supporters. They have put up their own petition.<\/p>\n A backlash Monday night saw requests filed with the White House to strip citizenship rights from Americans who signed petitions to help states secede. (RELATED: Anti-secession forces fight back with White House deportation petitions<\/a>)<\/p>\n Two such petitions launched Nov. 12 in the White House\u2019s \u201cWe the People\u201d section.<\/p>\n \u201cMr. President,\u201d reads one<\/a>, \u201cplease sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDeport Everyone That Signed A Petition To Withdraw Their State From The United States Of America,\u201d reads the other<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Yep, once again the Moonbats show what real tolerance is. Anyone who disagrees with their views is to be punished and kicked out of the United States. They have also shown their usual lack of knowledge of the Laws and Constitution. You can\u2019t strip people of their citizenship just for signing a petition.<\/p>\n The two deportation petitions have attracted a combined total of about 7,500 signatures.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n What an overwhelming response! Why all those who signed the secession petitions must be trembling in fear that the Department of Homeland Security is going to kick down their doors and throw them on a plane out of the country! I\u2019m sure they will take care of that as soon as they finish deporting all the illegal aliens.<\/p>\n Getting back to Texas, the Moonbats of Austin have also put up their own petition.<\/p>\n And in a similar nose-thumbing aimed at Texas\u2019 conservative majority, progressives from the liberal state capital of Austin responded Monday<\/a> with a petition to secede<\/a> from their state if Texas as a whole should decide to leave the Union.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n From what I\u2019ve heard about Texas, Austin is the one city that the rest of the state would love to ship to California. The joke is that Austin is where they keep all the liberals, so that if they need to, they can simply surround the city, cut off all food and water and let them starve.<\/p>\n Late Tuesday a second group of Texans, this one from Houston, lodged their own<\/a> White House petition. Secession-minded Texans, they wrote, \u201care mentally deficient and [we] do not want them representing us. We would like more education in our state to eradicate their disease.\u201d<\/p>\n Houstonian \u201cKimberly F\u201d \u2014 The White House does not provide last names \u2014 submitted the petition. She told The DC in an email that\u201d [w]e need both sides presented, or we all look like a bunch of fools.\u201d<\/p>\n A group from El Paso, too, wants no part of an independent Texas. \u201cAllow the city of El Paso to secede from the state of Texas,\u201d their petition reads<\/a>. \u201cEl Paso is tired of being a second class city within Texas.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Actually, Moonbats have a vast and proven capacity for foolishness. The are also known for being delusional on what happens in the real world. They also have absolutely no sense of humor. The Daily Caller contacted the White House for a comment. The response what what you might expect from a minion of \u201cDer Fubar\u201d:<\/p>\n The Daily Caller emailed White House deputy press secretary Joshua Earnest for comment, asking if the Obama administration was taking the grassroots effort seriously.<\/p>\n \u201cDoes the President see this as a bunch of Gov. Romney\u2019s supporters blowing off steam after the election?\u201d TheDC asked. \u201cAs an earnest show of disaffection with the direction of the country? As something else?\u201d<\/p>\n Earnest did not respond.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Gee, there\u2019s a surprise. I have no doubt that the general response to these petitions will be to send the all to dev\/null in a month. Now I will grant that this is mostly people showing their displeasure at the coming collapse of the United States. Obama thinks he has a mandate to complete turning the United States of America from a free, open, prosperous nation into his version of the Union of Soviet States of Amerika. Right now, people are still a bit stunned that the Republicans, as usual, snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, and apparently are going to do their usual \u201cRoll over and beg\u201d routine.<\/p>\n What the clowns in both parties, (which would be most of them), don\u2019t understand is that people are getting desperate. Already, massive job cuts and layoffs are either being announced or have already begun. Companies are retrenching in preparation for TAXMAGEDDON come January 1st<\/sup>, when the largest tax hikes in history will hit every single person in America. Then there will be the Obamacare mandates that will further crush the most productive segment of the American population.<\/p>\n Obama and the Democrats refuse to see what they have done and are all set to double down. They want more spending on worthless programs that no one wants, and ever more taxes. When all these things hit, the unemployment rate will quickly move into the low double digits, (It\u2019s actually there, but Obama\u2019s people rig the statistics), and then very quickly increase from there. People have seen what\u2019s happening in Greece and the rest of Europe and want to keep that from happening here.<\/p>\n When the economy collapses, states that have done their best to be fiscally responsible, (Unlike California, Illinois or New York for instance), will have no choice but to separate themselves from those states that have destroyed themselves<\/a>. These petitions aren\u2019t so much a shot across the bow as a warning that things need to change and drastically.<\/p>\n The talk of secession has always been a bit of a fringe idea, mostly something to talk about over beer and BBQ. Now, it\u2019s starting to move to the center. If this should really take off in one or more states, in that a large minority or even a majority start considering it, then the state legislature(s) will have to take it up.<\/p>\n This is how I see it possibly going forward. The number of people in a state that want that state to secede reaches \u201ccritical mass.\u201d They start demanding that their state representatives hold hearing and begin debating the issue. If the hearings show overwhelming support, then the representatives will probably put forward a bill to hold a public referendum. If that goes through, then it goes to the voters.<\/p>\n Hopefully, the idiots in Washington will see that they have a real problem. If one state pulls the plug, others will go soon after.<\/p>\n Suppose it\u2019s 2014 when a state, let\u2019s say Texas, announces that per the voters, they are now to be known as the Republic of Texas, and orders all U.S. Federal agencies out? Texas also has a large military footprint as well, but I don\u2019t see them being ordered out. More than likely they will simply announce that they want to talk about how to handle the bases in question. So, the EPA, Education, Department of Homeland Security, Labor, etc. are closed. Federal law enforcement agents are informed that they no longer have jurisdiction and that any attempt by them to try and enforce U.S. Law will result in their arrests. All those gun control laws are promptly tossed overboard.<\/p>\n Now, if you recall what happened the last time a number of states decided to \u201cSeek other opportunities,\u201d we ended up with a full blown civil war. We\u2019ve all learned from the last time how bad that would be. I don\u2019t see Texas pulling a \u201cFort Sumter\u201d and firing on the military bases. Would Obama and the Democrats try to use force to drag Texas back into the union? He might, how would he do it? If the military actually went in, I don\u2019t see a lot of actual shooting happening. Texans like the U.S. Military. No, I think you would see a group of Texans, probably Texas National Guard, going into Washington in sufficient numbers to mortar the White House and attack it, along with the United States Congress. There would be a very good chance of overrunning the Secret Service and capturing, (or killing), the president.<\/p>\n That would be the effective end of the United States. The remaining \u201cRed\u201d states would quickly pull out and abandon the \u201cBlue\u201d states. They would also walk away from the National Debt problems as well. In short order, provided that the states work out the details, you would see a new nation, probably using a modified version of our current constitution, (With new sections designed to prevent what is happening now to America), rebuilding their economy.<\/p>\n Frankly, I see an actual secession of a state as the last resort. My belief would be either the idiots in Washington pulling their heads out of their butts and doing what needs to be done, or a constitutional convention that bypasses congress all together and passing new amendments correcting the current imbalance between the states and the Federal government.
