Feinstein’s gun grab stopped

For now that is. Harry Reid announced that Constitutional Scholar, Senator Diane Feinstein’s bill to cancel the Second Amendment by Progressive Liberal fiat was not going to be submitted to the full senate. The reason stated, only 40 members were going to vote for it.

Feinstein and the other Prog-Nazi’s, (H/T Emperor Misha I for that term), haven’t given up. Right now they are working on the states they control and so far have suppressed the civil rights of gun owners in New York and are about to do so in Colorado. The Colorado law is already having a few issues, and it was only signed into law a few hours ago.

One manufacturing company, MagPul, has announced they are closing their doors and moving out of state ((Magazine maker begins process of leaving Colorado)). This will cost probably several hundred people their jobs directly and several thousand others indirectly. This is not going to help the employment or tax situation in that state.

Then there is the issue of enforcing these unconstitutional laws. The sheriffs in Colorado have flat out stated they won’t enforce them. Here are a few details from the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin:

Sheriff John Cooke says he won’t enforce new gun-control measures in Weld County, which covers a large part of northeastern Colorado, and legal experts say he won’t be breaking the law.

“He couldn’t be punished for not upholding these laws, but he could be ordered by the court to uphold them,” said Richard Collins, a University of Colorado at Boulder law professor. “Whether anyone would bring a lawsuit to get the court to order him is pretty uncertain.”

My guess is the Prog-Nazi’s will bring suit.

State Sen. Morgan Carroll ((Morgan Carroll)), D-Aurora, Senate sponsor of the universal-background-checks bill, said a sheriff unwilling or unable to fulfill the duties of the position should step down.

“They are putting politics above their job,” she said.

This cow should talk. She and her comrades have stripped the rights away from gun owners and stated that women who might be attacked and raped should just lie down and enjoy it. I suspect that lawsuits to have these “laws” stopped will be filed in the next few days.

In New Jersey, a gun owner was paid a visit by police and case worker from New Jersey’s Department of Children and Families. Here are a few details from The Blaze:

The young man in the photo is the 11-yr-old son of Shawn Moore ((View the picture on The Blaze web site)). The gun is a .22 rifle, a copy of the AR-15, but a 22 caliber. The photo was posted on Facebook by a proud father. That Facebook posting apparently triggered an anonymous call to New Jersey’s Department of Youth and Family Services (DYFS). On Friday night, March 15th, two representatives from the state’s social services office (along with four local police officers) came to the Moore home and demanded to see the family’s firearms.

According to Moore’s lawyer, Evan Nappen (an attorney with considerable expertise in NJ’s very strict gun laws), the situation was “outrageous.”

Here’s what Moore alleges on the Delaware open carry forum:

NJ’s Department of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) came to his home, accompanied by police officers. They claimed to be responding to a call about a photo of a young boy holding a firearm. (photo above)

Without a search warrant, DYFS demanded entry into Moore’s home and access to all of his firearms. Moore was not initially there, but his wife called him.

With his lawyer listening to the exchange on the phone with police and DFYS, Moore denied entry to his home and access to his safe where he stores his guns.

When Moore requested the name of the DFYS representative, she refused to give it to him.

After threatening to “take my kids,” the police and Family Services worker left — “empty handed and seeing nothing.”

Now, most people, when visited by four cops and a storm trooper from the state’s child services department, (Whatever they are called), tend to panic and submit to them. Fortunately, Mrs. Moore didn’t back down and contacted her husband right away. He raced home and got his lawyer on the phone. When he arrived he switched to speakerphone so his lawyer could hear and involve himself.

In an exclusive interview with TheBlaze, Mr. Nappen — the attorney who was listening to the entire incident via Moore’s speaker phone — added more details:

The DYFS worker repeatedly demanded access to the house and for Moore to open his safe where the firearms were stored. She said that the guns should be catalogued and checked to make certain they were “properly registered.” (NJ does not require registration, it is voluntary.)

• The four police officers acted professionally, they were there at the request of DYFS.
• The worker refused to identify herself. Mr. Moore demanded that she giver her name. She refused and ran away.
• As of Tuesday morning, Mr. Nappen believes that DYFS is still pushing for an inspection, “which is not happening.”

Mr. Nappen also shared few very important facts about this case. For instance, Shawn Moore holds three very significant firearms designations:

• NRA Certified Firearms Instructor – One of the toughest certifications to attain, requiring skills with the weapons as well as teaching.
• NRA Certified Range Safety Instructor
• NJ State Certified Firearms Hunting Instructor

The Blaze has the unedited interview with Mr. Moore along with pictures of the police officers in body armor. This is nothing less then the actions of a totalitarian state. The intent was to terrify the family into giving up their rights under the constitution. They are fighting back and working within the law to protect themselves. The only problem here is, the State doesn’t give a damn about the laws or the constitution. In a follow up article, the family expects the DYFS thugs to come back with a warrant. The fact that there is no evidence at all will mean nothing to any judge in New Jersey. So, Ms. Coulter, do you still think that fat POS governor Chris Christie is the only hope for the Republican party? Apparently not. Governor Christie could shut this down with a phone call, but he is on record as supporting the suppression of the Second Amendment.

In New Hampshire, the Democrats are trying to repeal our version of the “Stand Your Ground” law that was passed in 2011. Here are a few details from the Concord Patch:

Stand Your Ground. The House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee voted 12-6 to recommend the full House pass an amended version of House Bill 135, “relative to physical force in defense of a person and relative to the definition of non-deadly force.” Rep. Steve Vaillancourt, for the committee majority, described the amendment as an attempt to reach compromise which balances rights of freedom with safety. He writes: “All that remains is section one which repeals what is widely referred to as the stand your ground provision which was passed last year. This bill does not prevent anyone from owning or carrying guns. It simply takes us back to the practice that was in effect for more than three decades (and was never challenged in court) which affirms that a person is not justified in using deadly force on another if he or she can retreat from the encounter. Note that nothing about the bill prevents one from using deadly force if retreat is not deemed possible. Also note that the person is not required to retreat if the incident occurs on his or her private property. Thus, the castle doctrine is left intact.” Rep. Kyle Tasker, for the committee minority, writes, “The minority feels this bill has no demonstrable merit and it would be foolish to change the law every two years without giving current law a chance to demonstrate results. This body is not so fickle as to remove a right once granted.”

Actually Representative Tasker, they are. The Prog-Nazi’s have always supported the criminal element, probably because they would rather be just like them. Able to rob, rape and murder without any fears of retribution, or getting their heads blown off by an armed citizen.

What we are seeing is the true colors of the Democratic Party, and it isn’t red, white and blue. The Democrats, aka Progressive Nazi’s or Prog-Nazi’s, are dedicated to instituting a single party state, the abolition of the constitutional rights of the individual, the abolition of the free enterprise system and the restoration of “That Peculiar Institution” better known as slavery. Oh yes, I said slavery and I meant it.

The Democrats have always been the slave owners in the United States and they were very unhappy when their property, (Slaves), were taken away from them. They have been working since 1866 to get their slaves back on the plantation. Unfortunately, they have pretty much succeeded with their former slaves descendents. Now they are trying to enslave the rest of the people. The first step is to get the guns out of the citizens hands.

Yep, I know. This is definitely tinfoil hat territory. My question to you is, How else can you explain the actions of the Progressive Liberal Democrat Elites? They are following the playbook used by the Communists, Fascists, Nazis and all the other totalitarian parties of the 20^th century. First you take away the means of the people to defend themselves from the state, then you institute your will for their rights. Think it can’t happen here? Check your history books. Hitler was elected to office and one of the first things he did was get the guns away from German people and most especially, the Jews. The Progressive Liberal Democrats are becoming the latest in a line of pure evil political movements.

Hope I’m wrong of course, but I doubt that I am.
