Have all these Obama scandals got you down? Don’t have a clue what to do? Have you ever wondered what Jack Bauer, former head of the Counter Terrorist Unit would do? Well, since 2010, when Jack went on the lam after being set up by another corrupt president, we haven’t been able to ask him…Until now.
Yes, it looks like Jack is coming in from the cold to save the day in literally 24 hours. Fox has signed Kiefer Southerland to reprise his character of no nonsense, no prisoners needed, CTU Agent Jack Bauer. Here are the details from NELLIE ANDREEVA of Deadline.com:
Jack Bauer is back! I’ve learned that, after marathon negotiations, Kiefer Sutherland has closed a deal for a new installment of 24 on Fox. With him on board, I hear Fox has greenlighted the real-time drama as a limited series and will announce it during its upfront presentation today.
Yahoo! Jack is Back! No more wimpy declarations of “Man Caused Disasters, (Unless it’s Jack causing them to enemies of America), and blaming terrorists attacks on a mob incited by a movie none of then even knew existed. According to USA Today:
The new season, one of two “limited series” Fox plans for 2014, will be compressed into 12 weeks and premiere next May, says Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly. “We’ll go in chronological order with the hours of the day, but we’ll skip some hours,” he says.
I will be the first to admit that there was some parts in the “24” season that could have been done without. There aren’t any details on the plot of course, but I’m wondering if Jack is going to have the chance to cap a few corrupt officials? You know, like a fictional Attorney General he catches selling guns to drug cartels?
The miniseries is scheduled to come on in May 2014. Just in time for the rage at Obamacare to have really kicked in.
