The Wacko birds are flying

Good day all. A while back, Senator John McCain, (R-Establishment), went on a tirade against the new crop of Tea Party and Conservative senators who were blocking legislation that increases government and restricts people’s rights.

McCain dubbed these senators “Wacko Birds” and accused them of the crime of representing their states and constituents instead of the government. In a story by Christopher Bedford of the Daily Caller details the rebellion by the New Breed.

There is rebellion afoot in the United States Senate. A new breed of conservatives and libertarians are loosed, unconcerned with The New York Times, unfettered by back-bench rank and unintimidated by Washington politics.

And the Party of Government is OUTRAGED! OUTRAGED I SAY!

Elected over the past three years, Republican Sens. Rand Paul, Mike Lee and Ted Cruz have had a meteoric impact in Washington, soaring to grassroots stardom, crashing into the Democratic majority and raining down on the old bulls of the Republican Party.

Dubbed “Wacko Birds” by top Republican John McCain, these three wear the senior Arizona senator’s scorn as a badge of honor.

McCain hates these people with a passion. If it hadn’t been for them and others like them, why we would be rounding up all the guns, the borders would be down, we would have trillions in new spending, and the New York Times would love him again.

The Democrats and Republican leadership are furious. And it isn’t simply because these young upstarts exist — it’s because they’re scoring real points. Using the difficult and arcane rules of the Senate to their advantage, they have several victories under their belts that have earned them the respect and support of the conservative grassroots. And despite the ire of both parties — and both parties’ well-connected allies in the press — the Wacko Birds continue undeterred.

Furious is an understatement. Blind rage is more like it. We see people like Karl Rove go right off the deep end when their good friends in the Party of Bigger Government are held accountable by the voters. In the last two election cycles, we’ve seen one “Go along and Get along” Republican, who’s only thought is to keep their privileges and power, get blown out in the Republican primaries. The last one to get tossed was former Senator Richard Lugar ((Richard Green “Dick” Lugar)).

Lugar was the latest member of the Establishment Republicans to be show the door by the Tea Party groups. Unfortunately, the seat went Democrat this time due to a misstatement by the candidate and the total lack of support from the Republican Party. In fact, the hatred for the Tea party and other conservative groups is so deep in the RINO set, that they have done everything they can to force them out. However, they keep getting thwarted by those pesky voters.

“The opposition to what Sens. Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Mike Lee are doing isn’t much about Republicans vs. Democrats,” a senior Wacko Bird aide told The Daily Caller. “It’s about how Washington does things.”

And there is the rub. The “Washington way of doing things” is what has brought this country to the brink of collapse. These chowderheads, going back to the New Deal, have, in my opinion, usurped the rights of the people and the states and moved them to the Federal Level. This has given is things like a $17 trillion dollar debt, political, religious and speech repression by agencies such as the IRS, the destruction of the economy and the beginnings of a police state. Now, with all the things that are happening, people are upset and they are sending people to Washington who are not beholding to the “Party of Government.”

Among their notable and unexpected (though sometimes merely symbolic) victories this year, the Wacko Birds can count the libertarian-energizing drone debate and the grassroots-energizing gun debate. Next on their list: The debt ceiling debate.

For those of you who don’t recall, Paul Rand started a filibuster over Obama’s use of Drones to kill not just enemies of the United States, but also American Citizens who were aiding those enemies. In fact, the Obama administration wouldn’t say that they would NOT use a drone strike on Americans INSIDE the United States. Paul’s filibuster on this drove the Establishment Republicans such as McCain, nuts. The gun control debate was even worse from the RINO perspective. It forced them to actually come out of the cloakroom and take a stand, something they hate doing.

By leading the charge to the Senate floor, demanding difficult votes and utilizing the minority’s filibuster power, the three have thrown a wrench in Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s Senate steamroller.

“Sen. Paul led the charge on the drones filibuster, and Sen. Cruz was eager to support him, along with Sen. Mike Lee,” Cruz press secretary Catherine Frazier told TheDC. “And on guns legislation, they all announced their intent to filibuster early on in the debate. And now they are taking on the debt ceiling.”

These three went to Washington with one purpose. To get the spending under control and taking a chainsaw to the various government agencies. The ultimate goal being to restore the constitutional boundaries between the people and the government. This is rather upsetting to the governmental elites in Washington. In fact, the mistrust between the “Wacko Birds” and the Republican party goes both ways.

Let me be clear: I don’t trust the Republicans, and I don’t trust the Democrats. And I think a whole lot of Americans likewise don’t trust the Republicans and the Democrats because it is leadership in both parties that has gotten us in this mess. – Sen. Ted Cruz, May 23, 2013.

That one set off all the pundits on the Obama Steno Pool as well as inside the two parties headquarters.

Though they ruffled some Republican hawk feathers with their demands during the debate over President Barack Obama’s drone policy, the Wacko Birds really began to encounter inner-party push back during the emotionally charged gun-control debate. The closed-door fighting reached a pitch when they pushed an old Helms tactic: Force your colleagues to vote, so they can be held accountable.

Do you want to know how much the RINO’s hated this? In 2010 and 2012, the RINO’s that were up for re-election, such John McCain and Orrin Hatch, were forced to outright lie to get reelected. They had to say they actually support the ideas of smaller government, the constitution and their constituents. It was the only way they could beat back the challenges that were made against them. True to form, as soon as they had safely secured their positions, they reverted to type and started trashing the Tea party and conservative groups.

After their successful effort to get senators who wanted to proceed to vote on the gun-control bill to say so, Cruz told a gathering of grassroots conservatives that the behind-the-scenes Republican anger was a site to behold: “We’ve had probably five or six lunches with a bunch of Republican senators standing up and looking at Rand and Mike and me and yelling at us at the top of their lungs.”

This is one reason I won’t run for office. I’d either punch these screaming slimeballs in the mouth or challenge them to a duel. (Now that is something that should be brought back. Dueling) The gun ban measures that were being pushed by the Democrats were blatantly unconstitutional and unpopular to the majority of Americans. The knew it was only meant to make life easier for criminals and harder for the average citizen.

“There are many people within the Republican Party who will be quite content to see the background check go past and say, ‘Look we stopped the assault-weapon ban and protected the 2nd Amendment,’” Heritage Action Communications Director Dan Holler told TheDC. “A lot of Republicans — especially the political strategists — would have loved that outcome.”

Typical of the RINO elites. Utterly out of touch with what’s going on and only caring about themselves and their friends. They have totally missed the anger building out here in “Flyover country.”

After taking the Republican lead against Paul’s drone filibuster, McCain joined Republican Sens. Susan Collins and Mark Kirk in voting for the Democrat’s gun-control bill. Not surprisingly, he is a top Republican critic of the Wacko Birds’ battle to drag the House and Senate budget negotiations into the light of day.

McCain is a traitor. Perhaps not in the constitutional sense of the word, but definitely in the classical sense of the word. Even now, he and the other Big Government RINO’s are working with Der Fubar to get us into another war in the Middle East. This time Syria. The only problem, the “Rebels” are allied with Al Qaeda. It seems to me the Party of Stupid, (Establishment Republicans), have forgotten that Al Qaeda wants to destroy America. The equivalent would be the State of Israel providing aid to the Nazi’s.

But it isn’t just McCain who can’t stand the new kids.

McConnell “just hates Rand Paul,” another senior Wacko Bird staffer told TheDC. “He and Sen. Lindsey Graham are frustrated that we’re mucking up the system and breaking with how they want things done.”

McConnell is generally despised by conservatives and the feeling is mutual. His biggest fear right now is a primary challenger in 2014 and he is actively working to prevent that. Lindsey Graham is an utterly disloyal scum bag who has no problem with the surveillance state that has been dragged out into the sunshine. Do you know what really drives these people nuts? Unlike Rand Paul’s father, Ron Paul, these people have learned the rules and are using them against the party elites.

A great deal of the Wacko Birds’ effectiveness is due to their successfully navigating the Senate’s complicated rules, even while McCain and others criticize the their disregard for Senate traditions. Procedure, the Wacko Birds understand, is policy; and one reason the country is less free, and is $17 trillion in debt, is because the old procedures allowed it.

This is a modification of the Communists way of doing things. Old Communist groups, such as the ACLU, were formed to use the American laws and constitution to destroy the country ((ACLU: ‘Communism is the Goal)). Like the Communist front organizations, the Government Party gets very upset when someone comes along and uses their own rules and tricks against them.

In the debate over gun control, the three lead the charge to push the Senate to vote to proceed (called a cloture vote) in an effort to flush out the Republicans and red-state Democrats who were open to possibly voting for gun control – or at least which senators they could be sure were on their side.

The vote “allowed outside groups to identify the wobbly members and go after them,” a senior Wacko Bird aide told TheDC. “And but for the cloture vote, the outside groups would not have had that opportunity to go after people.”

The Wacko Birds are doing this over and over again and they are winning. The worst thing, from the Establishment’s point of view, to happen is to have the voters see just how corrupt both parties are and give them the chance to organize and stop their Big Government schemes.

It has been suggested that those of us who are fighting to defend liberty, fighting to turn around the out of control spending and the out of control debt in this country, fighting to defend the constitution — it has been suggested that we are Wacko Birds. Well, if that is the case, I will suggest to my friend from Arizona there may be more Wacko Birds in the Senate than is suspected. – Sen. Ted Cruz, May 23, 2013.

And not just in the Senate. John “Crybaby” Boehner has been called out by conservative members who are tired of his incompetence and willingness to roll over for Obama. They have put him on notices that they will move against him if he continues to work against the wishes of the American people and the Constitution of the United States.

The next major bill is the Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill that Obama, the Democrats and the RINO’s want to ram through. They are, as usual, outright lying to the American people and refusing to listen to their concerns. If they ram this through, I have no doubt that we will see the utter collapse of the Republican Party and the rise of a new party…IF we’re lucky.

A lot of people are worried that the United States is entering a pre-revolutionary phase ((A Pre-Revolutionary Situation)). The last time this happened was in the 1850’s. That saw the death of the Whig Party, the Rise of the Republican party and the Civil War. The Civil War tore this country apart and killed 750,000 people ((New Estimate Raises Civil War Death Toll)), including a sitting United States President ((Abraham Lincoln)).

We are very close to that situation now. I personally think we are literally one incident away from an outright shooting war inside this country. I’m not alone in this belief, and apparently a large number of Americans are preparing for just this eventuality. This is why gun and ammunition sales are at historical highs in the United States. People are frightened.

They have looked at Washington and asked them to change the way things are going. The answer has been a uniform “Shut up and do what we tell you Slaves!” Now we have the IRS suppressing conservative groups, the Justice department declaring that a reporter is a spy for simply doing his job, wiretaps on other news agencies, and the hoovering of hundreds of millions of Americans cellphone and email data by an intelligence service that is supposed to be looking at information OUTSIDE the United States.

And they call those who want to stop all this before its to late “Wacko Birds?” Count me among that flock.
