Systems update

Good day all, this is the Angry Systems Administrator. As you know by now, the main add page is malfunctioning. the problem is with the Captcha app that we use. Somehow, something broke when the site was moved to the new server. We’re still trying to fix it, but frankly, it has both myself and the Angry Webmaster stumped. We have started redirecting people to the backup add page and we have gotten a rant in from it.

I’ve also added a new page to the Anger Central Entertainment Library. If you look under the pull down menu, you will see all the books that radical right wing fanatical wingnut, The Angry Webmaster has loaded on his Kindle. It’s a pretty nifty little app and as the Angry Webmaster adds more books to it, I’ll be adding them to the Kindle Ebooks page.

We’ve also noticed a good increase in the performance of all the web sites we manage since we were moved to the new server by Hosting Matters. We still see the occasional time out, but nowhere near as bad as it once was. I’m still digging around the back end to see what I can do to increase performance even more. Fortunately, I was able to talk that blithering idiot the Angry Webmaster out of hiring some developers who used to work for CGI Federal, Considering all the other sites they have botched up, I wouldn’t let them tough a transistor radio.

Well, back to trying to figure out just what the heck is going on with the add page. It’s obviously some sort of permissions issue, although it could be a path issue. I know this has happened before. I just wich I had made notes on how I fixed it the last time.
