BridgeGate and the Great White RINO

Well now, the “Certain GOP Presidential candidate for 2016” isn’t so certain right now. For those who might not be paying attention, New Jersey governor Chris Christie (RINO) is in a bit of hot water. Last September, for reasons not really understood, although it was stated as needed for emergency repairs, there was a lane closure on the George Washington Bridge.

The closure tied up traffic for hours, with some people stuck for a good four hours. Needless to say, people were furious. There had been rumors that the lane closure was done for political reasons to punish the Mayor of Fort Lee for not endorsing Christie’s reelection bid last November. The mayor of Fort Lee is a Democrat so why should he have to endorse the New Hersey Whale?

Well, the whole thing has exploded in that fat phony’s face. It turns out that the closure WAS done for political payback. There are news stories all over the place with Christie trying to get out from under the mess. Here are a few details from the New York Times:

The mystery of who closed two lanes onto the George Washington Bridge — turning the borough of Fort Lee, N.J., into a parking lot for four days in September — exploded into a full-bore political scandal for Gov. Chris Christie on Wednesday. Emails and texts revealed that a top aide had ordered the closings to punish the town’s mayor after he did not endorse the governor for re-election.

“Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee,” Bridget Anne Kelly, a deputy chief of staff to Mr. Christie, emailed David Wildstein, a high school friend of the governor who worked at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which runs the bridge. Later text messages mocked concerns that school buses filled with students were stuck in gridlock: “They are the children of Buono voters,” Mr. Wildstein wrote, referring to Mr. Christie’s opponent Barbara Buono.

Nice going Bimbo. Where did you learn how to stick it to someone? The back of a box of cereal? Email? Text messages? What? You didn’t think those could be tracked stupid? Didn’t anyone tell you the rules for screwing people over? Never write down when a phone call will do. Never use the telephone when a face to face conversation will do. Never say anything when a wink will do.

The emails are striking in their political maneuvering, showing Christie aides gleeful about some of the chaos that resulted. Emergency vehicles were delayed in responding to three people with heart problems and a missing toddler, and commuters were left fuming. One of the governor’s associates refers to the mayor of Fort Lee as “this little Serbian,” and Ms. Kelly exchanges messages about the plan while she is in line to pay her respects at a wake.

I hope you are successful in your new career in the service industry. Just remember to say “Would you like fries with that?”

Mr. Christie denied knowledge of the emails and said his staff was to blame. The growing scandal threatens to tarnish him at the moment he assumes an even larger position on the national stage, as chairman of the Republican Governors Association and an all-but-certain candidate for his party’s presidential nomination in 2016.

I can’t honestly say Christie was involved with this, but I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s a good thing his such a good buddy with King Putt. He can ask to borrow his bus since he’s going to be throwing staffers under it. As to his being the Republican Nominee in 2016? Only in the wet dreams of Christie, the Establishment RINO’s and the New York Times. Christie is generally despised throughout most of the Red States as an utter fraud, a bully and not all that competent. (Even Ann Coulter has acknowledged she was dead wrong about The Great White RINO)

While the emails do not establish that the governor himself called for the lane closings, they show his staff was intimately involved, contrary to Mr. Christie’s repeated avowals that no one in his office or campaign knew about them. In fact, the emails show, several staff members and appointees worked to cover up the scheme under the ruse that it was a traffic study.

Now if The Bloated One didn’t know, then he was screwed by his own staffers. Frankly, this shows me that his judgment and the way he does business isn’t all that great. He’s supposed to be the leader and set an example for his staff. Looks like he did. Now if he DID know it shows that he is nothing more then a fat vindictive slob. In other words, a fat, white Obama.

Now these fun and games by Christie’s people were not harmless. Someone died because the Emergency Medical Service were unable to reach a sick person. According to NorthJersey.com:

Emergency responders were delayed in attending to four medical situations – including one in which a 91-year-old woman lay unconscious – due to traffic gridlock caused by unannounced closures of access lanes to the George Washington Bridge, according to the head of the borough’s EMS department.

The woman later died, borough records show.

In at least two of those instances, response time doubled, noted EMS coordinator Paul Favia, who documented those cases in a Sept. 10 letter to Mayor Mark Sokolich, which The Record obtained.

On Sept. 9, the first day of the traffic paralysis, EMS crews took seven to nine minutes to arrive at the scene of a vehicle accident where four people were injured, when the response time should have been less than four minutes, he wrote.

It also took EMS seven minutes to reach an unconscious 91-year-old woman who later died of cardiac arrest at a hospital. Although he did not say her death was directly caused by the delays, Favia noted that “paramedics were delayed due to heavy traffic on Fort Lee Road and had to meet the ambulance en-route to the hospital instead of on the scene.”

Emergency responders also were late in getting to a third medical emergency that first morning of the lane closures. It took Favia nearly an hour to arrive at a building where a person was experiencing chest pains “due to standstill traffic on Route 46 East. The Mutual Aid ambulance coming from Palisades Park and paramedics coming out of Leonia were also delayed due to the excessive traffic,” he wrote.

Delays in emergency response times continued the next morning when a call that should have taken three or four minutes to respond to took seven, Favia wrote. In that instance, a man was experiencing chest pains.

Now I don’t know if this woman would have lived or not had the medics been able to get to her in a timely manner. She was 91 years old after all. However, thanks to the willful interference of an EMS crew, especially where someone died, should be investigated with the idea of criminal charges. Now though, it’s full power damage control for Christie. After all, he is the “Great White Hope RINO for the GOP. According to the Wall Street Journal, Speaker of the house John “Crybaby” Boehner still thinks Christie is a contender for the Oval Office:

House Speaker John Boehner says he believes Chris Christie remains a serious contender for the Republican 2016 presidential nomination, despite the traffic jam scandal engulfing the New Jersey governor.

Crybaby Boehner would say that since he has declared outright war on the Republican conservative base. I’ve heard he has a primary opponent, but I don’t have any details or confirmation. That worthless git should lose his seat after doing nothing but rolling over and dropping his pants for a good Obama sodomization. Now the Fat One has taken action to try and cover up put this behind him. He’s apologized and fired the ring leader in this debacle. According to CBS New York:

Gov. Chris Christie apologized Thursday for the “abject stupidity” of his staff, insisting he had no idea anyone around him had engineered traffic jams as retribution against the mayor of Fort Lee.

*Cough* HORSE HOCKEY *Cough*

Christie said he fired Deputy Chief of Staff Bridget Anne Kelly “because she lied to me” when he demanded weeks ago that anyone who knew anything about the episode come forward.

“I am embarrassed and humiliated by the conduct of some of the people on my team,” Christie said during a nearly two-hour long news conference. “There’s no doubt in my mind that the conduct that they exhibited is completely unacceptable and showed a lack of respect for their appropriate role of government and for the people that we’re trusted to serve.”

In point of fact he is embarrassed and humiliated that his people were so stupid in how they did this. They were begging to get caught and they did. Now I wonder, if this ends up in a court, who will be the first to implicate His RINOness? Christie was planning on using his governorship to try and get into the White House. In my opinion, he was always a long shot since his only real accomplishments have been shooting off his big mouth. There are far better governors who might run for the office who would be a far better fit. Bobby Jindal and Scott Walker are two that come to mind. (My personal preference would be Governor Jindal. He’s really turned Louisiana around IMHO) It’s still early, but with Hillary Clinton The Canklesaurous making noises about running, we should be looking for someone with the skills, drive and integrity for the office. The Great White RINO has the drive, but as far as I can see the skills are lacking and as for the integrity?
