The 2014 Superbowl

Good evening one and all. It’s just about time for the 2014 Superbowl in Sunny New Jersey. I understand most people are going to record the game and watch it tomorrow. The reason? So they can zip past all that useless football stuff and watch the ads. I don’t plan on watching it.

As was mentioned on the news section on the main site, I have some serious plumbing issues. The drain pipe in the shower has broken and neither I nor Mrs. Webmaster were able to properly bathe. Mrs. Webmaster had the name of a plumber and he had to rip open the ceiling on one room and then cut through a wall in another to get at the pipes. We really don’t need this expense right now.

Getting back to the Superbowl, or is it Superbowels, I’ve already read about some problems getting to the game today. Not enough personnel to handle the crowds for one thing. Another is the choice of venue. The MetLife stadium is not what one would call “The Jewell in the Crown of NFL stadiums. Actually, from what I understand, if they wanted to really take the Earth’s temperature, this stadium is where they would insert the rectal thermometer.

Well, since the game is starting now, I’ll just let you go. Instead I’ll just leave you with this picture that shows what I think of the Superbowl.
