Der Fubar WILL NOT BE DENIED!

Another day and another veto threat from King Putt. His threat this time is a bill that tells him he has to actually obey the law and the constitution. Shocking isn’t it, a president being forced to obey the laws and Constitution of the United States. Well, considering who is currently infesting 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with his presence, not really. (That would be President Barack Hussein Obama for you no information voters out there)

Il Douche has consistently ignored the laws and constitution whenever they got in his way. With the help of the most corrupt senate president in U.S. history and the rest of the Progressive Liberal Democrats, he’s been pretty much able to get away with it. Now a bill is working it’s way through congress that will force Obama to obey the law. Here are the details from The Examiner:

President Obama is threatening to veto a law that would allow Congress to sue him in federal courts for arbitrarily changing or refusing to enforce federal laws because it “violates the separation of powers” by encroaching on his presidential authority.

And in the SCoaMF’s mind, his power is limited only by his imagination. So why, besides the obvious, is King Putt threatening to veto the bill?

“[T]he power the bill purports to assign to Congress to sue the President over whether he has properly discharged his constitutional obligation to take care that the laws be faithfully executed exceeds constitutional limitations,” the White House Office of Management and Budget said Wednesday in a statement of administration policy. “Congress may not assign such power to itself, nor may it assign to the courts the task of resolving such generalized political disputes.”

I see a nice constitutional challenge over this. Needless to say, I have no idea if this is constitutional or not. Now, who wrote up this bill and why did he do it? (Like you need to guess on the latter question)

The lead sponsor of the measure, Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said it was designed to curb Obama’s abuse of presidential authority, most notably in his frequent changes to Obamacare.

“We have pursued certain remedies afforded to Congress to address executive overreach but these efforts have been thwarted,” Gowdy said. “This bill is necessary; it will give Congress the authority to defend this branch of government as the Framers and our fellow citizens would expect.”

Oh, you mean those old white slave owners? Now, I am sort of on the fence regarding this bill. I understand why Gowdy put it in, but the real issue here is the outright failure of both the congress and the judiciary in doing their constitutional duties. In reality, Obama should have been impeached and removed at least two years ago, and then put on trial for his crimes.

There is also a second bill being considered that the Golf Pro in Chief is also threatening to veto. This one would force the president to explain why he was making certain policy changes that regarding not enforcing the law.

Obama also threatened to veto another bill by Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., which would require the administration to explain decisions not to enforce laws when those decisions are rooted in policy concerns rather than just constitutional concerns (which the Justice Department is already required to do). “The American people deserve to know exactly which laws the Obama administration is refusing to enforce and why,” DeSantis said when introducing his bill.

I saw part of an interview with Re. DeSantis last night. I have NOT read the bill, but the general idea is good, but I think it might need to be more tightly written. The OMB thinks it is to burdensome to fulfill.

OMB said DeSantis’ law is too burdensome. “The bill would inordinately expand current law, which already requires reports to Congress when non-enforcement of federal law is based on constitutional grounds,” Obama’s team said in a statement of administration policy.

“Federal agencies are continually engaged in the process of determining how to concentrate limited enforcement resources most effectively. … The vastly expanded reporting scheme required by the bill would be unduly burdensome and would place the Attorney General in the unprecedented position of having to be kept informed of and report on enforcement decisions made by every other Federal agency,” the statement continued.

Again, I think this is a bill that shouldn’t bee needed. First, Obama should obey the laws and uphold the Constitution. Since he refuses, he should be impeached in the house and convicted and removed from office in the Senate. The charges that could be brought against Obama are far more severe then the ones that were being brought against Richard Nixon. Rather then fight impeachment, Nixon took the hint, after being visited by some very ethical members of the Republican party, and resigned. This won’t happen today for one simple reason. The words “Ethical” and “Democrat” have yet to appear in any sentence when referring to dealing with misconduct of a Democrat president. (Or member of congress for that matter)

The Gowdy bill passed the house Wednesday and will move on to the Senate where Harry Reid has his shredder idling in anticipation. Rep. DeSantis’s bill also passed and will also be sent to the Senatorial Shredder. Obama will never have to veto them because Reid will never let them arrive on his desk.

This is just one of many reasons the Democrats need to be shown the door in November in job lots. The utter corruption of Harry Reid alone has done massive damage to our Republic.
