Good day all, this came out yesterday and words fail me…Almost. Chelsea Clinton is getting $600,000.00 a year for doing pretty much nothing that I can see.
Well, that’s not exactly accurate. She does have to show up at her “job” occasionally. Here are the details from Politico:
Chelsea Clinton earned an annual salary of $600,000 at NBC News before switching to a month-to-month contract earlier this year, sources with knowledge of the agreement told POLITICO.
And what did she do to earn this exorbitant salary?
As special correspondent, Clinton worked on service-related feature assignments for NBC’s “Rock Center with Brian Williams” until the show’s cancellation in June 2013. Clinton has since worked on packages for NBC Nightly News.
So, pretty much…nothing. Do you know what this reminds me of? Her mother’s ever so profitable trip into the world of futures trading. I think we know the real reason they hired “Dear Sweet Chelsea,” and it had nothing to do with her forgettable appearances on NBC. It’s all about taking care of Bill and Hillary and nothing else. Getting an overpaid make-work job for Chelsea is just a good investment in case Hillary somehow sleazes her way into the White House.
To be honest, I don’t have a problem with Chelsea conning NBC stockholders out of that money. She did it within the law which is a lot more then we can say for her mommy and daddy. Those two kleptomaniacs all but looted the White House on their way out the door, and ended up having to return their stolen unintentionally removed goods. Well, Chelsea is pregnant and as long as she concentrates on being a mother and stays out of politics, we’ll just let it slide. If she decides to run for office or accept an appointed post, then the gloves come off and she can try out the hot coals her parents have been roasting on.

Clinton certainly can afford it. According to a report that surfaced today on Politico, she once earned an annual salary of $600K a year serving as a special correspondent for NBC News, which she joined in November 2011.
