Border patrol hit with large caliber covering fire

Good day all. I saw this story this morning when surfing the news. The Border Patrol along the Mexican border in Texas were fired on from across the Rio Grande by what appears to be .50cal BMG rounds.

None of the agents were hit, and the agents took cover when they came under fire. When the shooting stopped, a whole bunch of criminals promptly surrendered to the Agents and asked for their EBT cards. Here are the details you won’t see on CNN or any of the other so called news services other then Fox News:

U.S. Border Patrol agents on the American side of the Rio Grande were forced to take cover Friday night when high-caliber weaponry was fired at them from the Mexican side of the river, sources told FoxNews.com. The weapons were fired at the U.S. side of the riverbank in the area of the Rincon Peninsula across the Rio Grande from Reynosa, Mexico, at about 8:30 p.m., sources said. Bullets ricocheted into an area where Border Patrol agents were positioned, Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, told FoxNews.com. Border Patrol sources confirmed Gohmert’s account, and said the shots may have been fired by .50-caliber weapons.

“We don’t have any armor that can stop a .50-caliber round, so our Border Patrol agents had to take cover when the rounds were richocheting around them,” said Gohmert, who has been in the area for the last week to get a first-hand look at the border situation.

Representative Gohmert is only partially correct. We do have armored vehicles that can resist .50 Caliber BMG rounds, but to my knowledge, the Border Patrol doesn’t have them. They would also have a little difficult traversing rough terrain due to the weight of the armor. They are also very noisy. So what was this shooting all about? Basically, it was someone providing covering fire for criminals crossing the border.

“When the shooting stopped, about 40 to 50 people came out on the U.S. side and turned themselves in. So clearly the rounds were being fired to suppress every effort to stop anybody intervening with anyone or anything coming across,” Gohmert added. “We have no idea what or how many or whom came across with the other illegal immigrants.”

Sources said they believe the gunfire came from members of Mexican drug cartels, which include former military members trained in shooting that type of weaponry.

These weapons are not strictly military. You can buy one quite easily. All it takes is a lot of money. They generally start at around $8,000 for the rifle, depending on the model and this doesn’t include the telescopic sights, which can run another $,5000+ for a good one. Then there is the cost of the ammunition. .50 caliber ammunition is running at about $4-$5 per cartridge. In other words, this isn’t something your average gangbanger is going pick up at the local gun store. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if these weren’t provided by our old friend, Attorney General Eric “Fast&Furious” Holder.

Border Patrol sources said the rounds were clearly identifiable because .50- caliber weapons make a distinctive noise when fired. Sources said they also believe this is the first time that Border Patrol agents have taken direct fire from the Mexican side of the river in this area.

“I don’t know why we’re out here like sitting ducks,” one Border Patrol source said. “We need help.”

What we need is to pull back the Border patrol and deploy the Army, preferably in Mexico. This is a flat out invasion, and President Obama along with most of the Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrats are actively aiding and abetting it. There is a word for what they are doing. That word is “Treason.”

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

I would say that allowing an invasion of the United States and aiding in that invasion, (Secretly transporting the illegals all over the country), meets the above criteria. It’s only a matter of time before we have a full blown battle on the borders, probably resulting in the deaths of a number of Border Patrol agents and American citizens. I think we can safely say that even if that happens, the PLFD’s and Barack Obama will continue to do nothing. It’s time to put a stop the the destruction of our nation and that means the removal from office of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and all the other scum. I hope we can do it via the standard electoral means, because to do it any other way will result in a flat out bloodbath and I do not want to see that.
