Election 2014: The aftermath

Good day all, and it is a good day. Yesterday the American People went to the polls and blew the Democrats out of office. The Republican Party will take control of the Senate in January, 2015, and the reign of error of Harry Reid will be over.

Prior to the vote yesterday, the political pundits were talking about a Republican “Wave” election. What happened wasn’t a wave, it was more of a tsunami. There are a couple of senatorial races still undecided, with the race in Louisiana going to a runoff. From what everyone is saying, Senator Mary Landrieu will have her head handed to her. The race in Alaska is still in the counting phase and it isn’t looking good for the Democrat Incumbent, Mark Begich slightly behind Dan Sullivan.

nuclear blast

In New Hampshire, the Carpetbagger, Scott Brown lost narrowly to the corrupt Jean Shaheen. (News came out Monday that she had been up to her eyeballs in the IRS/Tea Party suppression efforts) Also the execrable Ann Kuster was able to defeat Marilinda Garcia. The good news is that Carol Shea-Porter was crushed by Frank Guinta. I don’t think we’ve heard the last of Ms. Garcia either.

There were also a few surprises. Both Maryland and Massachusetts elected Republican governors. In Maryland, this was a flat out repudiation of Comrade Governor Martin O’Malley and has probably killed any thoughts he had of running for President in 2016. (Oh who am I kidding? He’s just as self centered as Obama and thinks the world revolves around him)

In Massachusetts, Martha Coakley once again blew what should have been a sure thing. Coakley was the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and since she ran for governor, a new person will be taking over the AG’s office in 2015. Coakley will probably start her new career in foreign affairs with her next job being at the International House of Pancakes.

Two of the biggest losers are Barack Obama, who has seen his agenda utterly repudiated by America and current Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Reid, who’s handling of the Senate has been an utter disgrace, will now revert to Minority leader, if the Democrats vote to keep him in a leadership position. Considering the devastation his leadership has wrought on the Senate Democrats, it’s not unlikely that he will be removed from all positions of authority and sent to the back bench. He is up for reelection in 2016, and if he runs, will probably lose.

Now the big questions are how the Republicans will handle things? Considering that the new Senate Majority Leader will probably be Mitch McConnell, there is a great deal of concern that he will go back to the old RINO standby of “reaching across the aisle.” However, with the new people coming in, he may not get the chance. If he tries compromising with Reid, or his possible successor, Charles “Upchuck” Schumer, McConnell might find a rebellion in the ranks on his hands.

As to legislation, what will 2015 bring? We still have that Stuttering Clusterf**k Of A Miserable Failure in the Oval office. He’s shown his utter contempt for the Constitution, the separation of powers and the rule of law. There is a very good chance he might shove through his plan to grant amnesty to the millions of criminal aliens now in the United States. In the normal course of events, Obama’s antics should have gotten him impeached, convicted and removed from office.

One of the scare tactic used by the Democrats this year was the threat that the Republicans would impeach him. While that can occur in the House, it’s still almost impossible for a conviction in the Senate to happen. As we all know, the Democrats will always protect their own, no matter how much of a crook he or she is.

Obama capone dillinger

Still, Republicans can make life utter hell for Der Fubar. The first order of business should be the passing of a budget for the first time since 2009. It should restore our defenses, cut the garbage the Democrats have been wasting money on, and generally start the United States back on to the path of solvency. In all probability, Obama will veto a budget like that. The question is, can the house and senate override his veto? That will require Democrats and they might not want to “Take one for the team” yet again.

BOHICA

Next up is Obamacare. That needs to be fully and completely repealed. There are a number of plans to replace this, all of them far superior to the crap that Obama forced down America’s throat. Again, the odds are King Putt will veto any changes, but the momentum is in favor of flushing this thing into the sewers. Considering that Democrats have been getting ripped up one side and down the other, they might just override his veto.

rationing

Then we move on to overhauling the tax code. We have the highest corporate tax rates in the industrial world, and this has caused companies to either move their headquarters to more tax friendly countries, or move out all together. There are billions, possibly trillions of dollars sitting overseas that would flood back into America that companies would just love to use to put Americans back to work and expand their businesses.

Another thing that needs to be done is fixing the Immigration mess. None of this “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” nonsense. We need to do it very carefully and in sections. First, secure the borders. Second. Overhaul how people apply for and are approved to come into the United States. As to those now here? Personally, I saw round them up and ship them out. We know that wont’ happen. Instead, just make it impossible for them to live here. Go after companies that hire illegal aliens, banks that handle their money, and don’t let them buy or rent property or homes here without documentation. No medical care, no education for their brats, nothing. I would also look into the “Birthright” system. This is where an illegal alien, female, comes here and delivers a little bundle of welfare benefits. This one is complicated, and might require a Constitutional Amendment, but it does need to be looked into.

So, all in all, yesterday was a good day for America. Now we just need to hold the Republicans feet to the fire and keep them from their normal pattern of rolling over, dropping their pants and asking for Vaseline prior to the Democrats sodomizing them. Next up, the 2016 presidential elections. Now is the time to make sure that the RINO contingent led by the Jersey Whale, (Chris Christie), don’t even make it to the starting line.

recovering dumbass

Congratulations America on a job well done. Do not rest on your laurels though. Much work needs to be done and we need to watch out for whatever Obama and Reid might try to do during the “Lame Duck” session, as well as what Il Douche might try doing for the next two years. If all he does is play golf, America will be better off.
