Voice from beyond saves baby?

Good day all. This story comes out of Utah. A terrible accident occurred and a car driven by a woman with an 18 month old daughter went off the road and into the river.

The mother died, but her daughter was rescued by police. Now the spooky part. The officers all say they all heard a cry for help coming from inside the car. The thing is, the woman, who is the only one who could have cried out, had been dead for hours. Here are the details from Fox News:

Four police officers rushing to an overturned car in an icy Utah river say they all heard the same thing: a mysterious female voice calling out “Help,” from inside the vehicle. But the driver of the car was dead and her 18-month-old daughter, while still alive, couldn’t have been the speaker. It was a mystery that continues to haunt the officers – and may never be explained.

Officer Jared Warner of the Spanish Fork Police Department was one of the first who came to the rescue of tiny Lily Groesback, who was strapped in a seat in the back of her mother’s car, which was precariously hanging upside down in 40-degree water. We’ve gotten together and just talk about it and all four of us can swear that we heard somebody inside the car saying, ‘Help,’” Warner told Deseret News.

Ok, That is spooky. Can you imagine it? You arrive on the scene, find a car flipped over in a river, then here cries for help coming from it. Their first thought was to rescue whoever was in there.

But when they flipped over the midsized car, they discovered a 25-year-old woman dead in the front seat and Lily unconscious in her car seat. “The only people in there were the deceased mother and the child,” Officer Bryan Dewitt told the paper.

“It wasn’t just something that was just in our heads. To me it was plain as day cause I remember hearing a voice,” Beddoes told the Deseret News. “I think it was Dewitt who said, ‘We’re trying. We’re trying our best to get in there.’ How do you explain that? I don’t know,” he said.

Perhaps a higher power? No, I don’t mean Obama, even if he does see himself as a living god.

Nobody knows exactly how the infant survived hanging upside down for nearly 14 hours in her car seat with no food or water. As she dangled, icy water rushed just below her head through broken car windows as the vehicle sat perched on the bank and rocks. The temperatures were near freezing throughout the night and through the morning.

I think it’s safe to say something or someone was watching over that little girl. Perhaps the spirit of her mother couldn’t “move on” until she knew her daughter was safe? I’ve read of another incident, very different but no less spooky. In his book, The Fork Tailed Devil, The P-38 Lightning, Martin Caiden wrote about an incident that happened in North Africa in World War 2.

An air battle took place between some P-38’s and the German Luftwaffe. All the P-38’s returned to base except one. The base waited until there was no longer any possibility the missing pilot could still be in the air. The listed him as missing in action.

A few hours later, the unmistakable sounds of a P-38’s engines at full throttle were heard. The missing plane flew over the runway and then simply fell apart. It didn’t explode, it was as if every nut and bolt had been removed from the plane. The pilot fell free and his chute opened. However, when he landed he didn’t get up.

The first people to get to him were stunned at what they found. The pilot was dead. He had been shot through the head. He had been dead for hours. When the fuel tanks were checked, they were bone dry. There was no way that plane could have made it back with no fuel and a dead pilot at the controls.

There are mysteries in this universe we will never solve.
