Obama’s Amnesty hurts legal aliens

Good day all. As you know, Barack Obama, The Democrats and RINO’s want to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens now in the United States. What no one has bothered to look into is how this will affect those waiting to come to the United States lawfully.

The answer is simple. They, like American Citizens, will be and are being badly hurt by the actions of the political class. Here are a few details from the Washington Examiner:

While the administration struggles to move forward with its plan to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants, the list of foreigners trying to get into the United States legally has surged to 4.4 million, over 100,000 more than last year, according to the State Department. Those on the list either have a family member who is a U.S. citizen or green card holder, sponsoring their entry, or an employer wants them. The list grew by 100,085 over last year. And more than a quarter of them, 1,323,978, are Mexican.

As someone who has dealt with the immigration system in the past, and will be again next year, I can say that the current system is an outright disgrace. When Mrs. Webmaster and I were working on her immigration to the United States, we had the RINO’s under George Bush making noises about legalizing the millions of criminal aliens that were already in the country. The outrage by American Citizens as well as lawful immigrants was loud and the RINO’s backed down. However, they never learned, as we can see in their current mouthpiece, Jeb Bush.

According to a blog post written on the list by policy expert Jessica Vaughan, of the Center for Immigration Studies, unlike illegals slipping over the border, many of those on the wait list have been there for up to 13 years or more as they go through the proper process to enter the country.

And again, that is a disgrace. The people who are applying to come in will be assets for our nation. To begin with, they are obeying the law and waiting their turn. Those who hope across the border? Assets they are not.

“The existence of this massive waiting list of eligible applicants for family immigrant visas and green cards raises important questions for policymakers,” wrote Vaughan.

Ms. Vaughn misses the point. It isn’t to “Be fair” to the criminals, it’s to provide more democrat voters for Obama and more cheap labor for the RINO’s backers. The last thing either group wants is law abiding, hard working and educated immigrants. They have a nasty habit of thinking for themselves, and neither side can have that.

“Our legal immigration system is promising the opportunity of a green card to millions more people than realistically can be admitted in a reasonable time frame. This seems more like a cruel joke than a responsible immigration policy,” wrote Vaughan.

I have an idea. Let’s round up the criminals and ship them back to the third world hellholes they came from and replace them with these people who are obeying our laws from the get go. They are the people we need and want, not some gangbanger from El Salvador who should be on death row, and not getting welfare in California. You will notice that people like Jeb Bush aren’t talking about those waiting their turn. Oh no, they don’t count. Nope, we must allow the criminals to stay instead.

One of the things these people like to say is that “We are discriminating against Mexicans!” Read the story. A quarter of the people waiting to come in lawfully are from Mexico. I have no problem with them coming in since they have shown they will obey the law. This, along with the H1B system shows that the political class, with some exceptions, do not have the interests of this country at heart. And they wonder why people are buying guns?
