Good day all. I’ve been sitting on this for a couple of weeks due to other matters. Just before the new year, screaming moonbat and alleged economist, Paul, “Kruggles” Krugman published a column in the New York Slimes. The column is about what you would expect from a Progressive pinhead.
The title of the column, “America is not yet lost” is descriptive of just how ivory tower elitists such as Kruggles think. In their minds, America is evil and needs to be punished and placed under the yoke of the ever so wonderful United Nations and the European Union. Making America Great Again is exactly not what will “Save” America. Here is some of what this jerk wrote:
Many of us came into 2017 expecting the worst. And in many ways, the worst is what we got.
Here it comes, ready or not. Prepare for the full on blathering of a Progressive Liberal Moonbat.
Donald Trump has been every bit as horrible as one might have expected; he continues, day after day, to prove himself utterly unfit for office, morally and intellectually. And the Republican Party — including so-called moderates — turns out, if anything, to be even worse than one might have expected. At this point it’s evidently composed entirely of cynical apparatchiks, willing to sell out every principle — and every shred of their own dignity — as long as their donors get big tax cuts.
Did you know that Kruggles won the Nobel Prize for Economics? I can see why most people consider the Nobel Prize a joke these days. If Kruggles had been paying any attention, then he would know that it isn’t his rich friends that are getting tax cuts, it’s, wait for it, the middle class and business. But then, Kruggles is pretty stupid.
Meanwhile, conservative media have given up even the pretense of doing real reporting, and become blatant organs of ruling-party propaganda.

Actually, he might be correct. The media is nothing more then a propaganda organ. However, it’s for the Progressive Democrats, not President Trump.
Yet I’m ending this year with a feeling of hope, because tens of millions of Americans have risen to the occasion. The U.S. may yet become another Turkey or Hungary — a state that preserves the forms of democracy but has become an authoritarian regime in practice. But it won’t happen as easily or as quickly as many of us had feared.
I think Kruggles is talking about the Antifa thugs. I think he may have missed the memo that his boss, George Soros is pulling back on his investment in them. It seems that when push came to shove, when Antifa’s intended targets started fighting back and bringing guns, the paid protesters decided that being a live coward was better then being a beaten to a pulp paid thug.

Early this year the commentator David Frum warned that the slide into authoritarianism would be unstoppable “if people retreat into private life, if critics grow quieter, if cynicism becomes endemic.” But so far that hasn’t happened.
Kruggles is doing what is known as “Projection.” President Trump has not been doing anything remotely authoritarian. What he has been doing is actually enforcing the laws as written and forcing Congress to actually do it’s job. The true authoritarians were people like Barack Obama and Felonia von Pantsuit. Their contempt for the rule of law, the constitution and, in Felonia’s case, plans to suppress any dissent are well known to anyone who actually…reads.
What we’ve seen instead is the emergence of a highly energized resistance. That resistance made itself visible literally the day after Trump took office, with the huge women’s marches that took place on Jan. 21, dwarfing the thin crowds at the inauguration. If American democracy survives this terrible episode, I vote that we make pink pussy hats the symbol of our delivery from evil.
Kruggles wrote this drivel when his idea of a great and noble member of Congress was busily trying to figure out how to keep his ass in his senate seat. I guess he missed the news on all the wonderful Democrats who molest women thinking that it’s their due.

The resistance continued with the town hall crowds that confronted Republican legislators as they tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act. And in case anyone wondered whether the vocal anti-Trump crowds and Trump’s hugely negative polling would translate into political action, a string of special elections — capped by a giant Democratic wave in Virginia and a stunning upset in Alabama — has put such doubts to rest.
How many ways does he get this wrong? First, and granted, this happened after Kruggles published this, the new tax plan killed the Obamacare mandate which will pretty much kill Obamacare. Second, all those special elections? The only one that the Democrats won was Alabama, and the democrat won’t be keeping that seat for long. The only reason he won was Mitch McCockless shafting Roy Moore.
Let’s be clear: America as we know it is still in mortal danger. Republicans still control all the levers of federal power, and never in the course of our nation’s history have we been ruled by people less trustworthy.
Unless their Democrats that is.
This obviously goes for Trump himself, who is clearly a dictator wannabe, with no respect whatsoever for democratic norms.
By Democratic norms, you mean those of the Obama regime? Where he outright ignored the congress, the courts and the constitution with his “Pen and Phone?” Or Democrat judges who ignore the plain writing of the Constitution and legislate from the bench? You mean those norms?
But it also goes for Republicans in Congress, who have demonstrated again and again that they will do nothing to limit his actions. They have backed him up as he uses his office to enrich himself and his cronies, as he foments racial hatred, as he attempts a slow-motion purge of the Justice Department and the F.B.I.
Yes, purging the FBI of all those ever so wonderful thugs like Peter Strzok, who helped whitewash the criminal investigation into Felonia von Pantsuit’s activities. Or the agents who used that fake dossier, paid for by Felonia von Pantsuit, to get FISA warrants to spy on Donald Trump and his campaign and transition teams?
In fact, there has been a strange dynamic over the past few months: The worse things look for Trump, the more closely Republicans tie themselves to him. One might have expected recent electoral defeats to give G.O.P. moderates a bit more backbone. Instead, senators like John McCain and Susan Collins, who won widespread praise for standing up against Obamacare repeal during the summer, went along meekly with a monstrously awful tax bill.
Here we see Kruggles ideas of what a good Republican is. In his mind, a good Republican someone who believes in a strong an all powerful central, and that the people are to stupid to know what’s good for them. The collapse of the GOP’s plans to repeal Obamacare can be laid down to a very simple thing. They lied outright to their constituents. They never had any plans to repeal Obamacare and were shocked when they were expected to actually do it.
As for John McSlime? He hates Trump with a passion and holds his constituents in utter contempt. He flat out lied to win his primary, and once safely back in the Senate, showed to the people of Arizona that they can just shut the hell up and do as their told by him. His buddy, Senator Jeff Flake was right their with him. Unfortunately for him, his constituents basically told him he was done as their senator. His poll number flat out crashed, and he’s announced he won’t be seeking reelection. McSlime? The sooner that brain tumor kills him, the better.
And the growing evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia doesn’t seem to have induced any prominent Republicans who weren’t already anti-Trump to take a stand.
Kruggles, like all the Elite Progressives is ignoring the evidence. The collusion wasn’t on the Trump Campaign’s part, it was on the Democrats side. Evidence, as in the kind you take to court, has been slowly coming out on just how much Felonia soaked the Russians for with that Uranium One deal. The terms you might be looking for Kruggles are bribery, conspiracy, espionage, and considering the Clinton Bodycount is still climbing, perhaps murder. But Kruggles has never been one to let reality get in the way of his “Feelz.”
So we can’t count on the consciences of Republicans to protect us. In particular, we need to be realistic about the likely results of Robert Mueller’s investigation. The best bet is that no matter what Mueller finds, no matter how damning and no matter what Trump does — even if it involves blatant obstruction of justice — Republican majorities in Congress will back up their president and continue to sing his praises.

Mueller’s investigation has blown up in the faces of the Democrats. Rather then proving that President Trump colluded with the Russians, he’s shown that it was the Democrats who were doing all the colluding, along with the Beltway Uniparty. Mueller can’t find anything for a simple reason. There’s nothing to find. But hey, don’t let that stop you Kruggles.
It’s going to be hard, because the game is definitely rigged. Remember, Trump lost the popular vote but ended up in the White House anyway, and the midterm elections will be anything but fair. Gerrymandering and the concentration of Democratic-leaning voters in urban districts have created a situation in which Democrats could win a large majority of votes yet still fail to take the House of Representatives.
Kruggles? Have you forgotten how presidential elections work in a Republic? Your choice, the ever so corrupt Felonia von Pantsuit was a God Awful candidate. She insulted voters, she told them she was going to destroy their jobs and ignored states that she needed to actually win the election. As for the popular vote? What you want is the high density blue regions to run roughshod over all the other states. In case you might not have noticed, that would be a recipe for a civil war. But hey, you have your armed security and gated neighborhood so what do you care?
And even if voters rise up effectively against the awful people currently in power, we’ll be a long way from restoring basic American values. Our democracy needs two decent parties, and at this point the G.O.P. seems to be irretrievably corrupt.
Again with the Projection Kruggles! It’s the Democrats who are showing themselves to be irretrievably corrupt. The GOP(e) Rinos are just being their usual “Party of Stupid selves.”
Even at best, in other words, it’s going to take a long struggle to turn ourselves back into the nation we were supposed to be. Yet I am, as I said, far more hopeful than I was a year ago. America is not yet lost.
And in Kruggles mind, the way the nation is supposed to be is a carbon copy of the Soviet Union. No dissent permitted, Rule by the elites, and the average American reduced to servitude. Kruggles has had a long history of not dealing with a full deck. One of the best examples was a panel he was involved with regarding Obamacare and socialized medicine.
He brought up the Canadian system and made the mistake of asking if there were any Canadians in the audience. There were and he then asked them what they thought of the Canadian system. In his delusional mind, he expected them to sing nothing but high praises for their system. Every single Canadian in the room tore Kruggles assumptions to pieces. The camera was on him and when he started getting responses he was not anticipating? It was a beautiful site. He looked like he had just been kicked in the balls and then hit in the head with a mallet.
Yes Kruggles, that was a bad move on your part. Now how about you make another move? I would suggest a country that has full implemented a government that mirrors your ideas of perfection. I understand that there are planes leaving JFK every day for Venezuela.
Thatisall
Post Script.
I prepared this post prior to President Trump’s Fake News awards. Kruggles was named as a winner!! I’ll have more an the awards in another post.
