Good day all, This is the Angry Systems Administrator. As you have no doubt noticed, we have been experiencing issues with the blog over the last week. We have been working with our hosting service to determine the root cause and what corrective actions will be taken.
The problems are limited to the server that Anger Central is hosted on. From my discussions with the technical people, it looks like it wasn’t something with our site or with the Musing of the Angry Webmaster blog. Rather, it was something done by another one of their clients.
Since it isn’t my place to discuss what they found, I won’t. However, I fully understand what the highly competent technician is talking about. The hosting service has been migrating other customers off this server, and it looks like Anger Central is going to be moved at some point as well.
If the hosting service is doing this, then the server itself, (Probably a virtual server), is well and truly hosed. My suspicion is, that once they have moved all the web sites off that server, they will either decommission it entirely, or format it and rebuild it from the ground up.
Anger Central would like to thank our Hosting service for their yeoman work and apologize to our 2 or three readers for the problems we have been experiencing for the last week.
