US Defeats Brazil in Dramatic Women’s World Cup Game

And most of America yawns and goes back to watching real sports like Baseball. 🙂

Yes, I’ll give the ladies a Well Done and a Congratulations, but honestly? Who cares? Soccer isn’t really an American sport. We like Baseball, Football, (Not that pansy thing the rest of the world calls football), Basket ball and Hockey.

Down south of the Mason Dixon line, it’s NASCAR. (Something else I really don’t care about, but at least the drivers can spectacularly crash)

Nope, soccer is just a nothing sport.

I mean look at this title? US Defeats Brazil in Dramatic Women’s World Cup Game. Dramatic? You kick a ball down the field and into a net. whoopee.

Nope, not important.

I can’t figure out why people get so excited about this. I mean wars have started of soccer games. At most, you might get a bar fight when the Yankees and Red Sox play…Maybe

And the Superbowl? One giant national party. Why fight over that? Much better to show your knowledge of the game by downing a few brewskis and asking if the referees have had their eyes checked lately. 😉

Well, back to the game, and I mean the real game.
