Democrat admits the truth, they are owned by the Teachers unions

Good day all. If there is one group that most American despise, it’s the Teacher’s unions. Ever since teachers were allowed to unionize, test scores have plummeted and teacher misbehavior has skyrocketed.

Now there is a big difference between teacher’s and the unions that most have no choice but to join if they want to actually teach. For decades, the Unions have been seen as a wholly owned piggy bank for the Democrat Party. Now it seems that the Unions now own the Democrats. Here are the details from LifeZette:

Florida Rep. Jared Moskowitz, a Democrat, acknowledged Monday that the influence of teachers unions was a key factor in his party’s position on school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moskowitz made the comments during an interview on “The Chuck ToddCast.”

The extended closure of schools during the pandemic led to significant learning setbacks for students, particularly in core subjects such as math and English.

No kidding. It also backfired on the Educational Professionals and the unions. Because parents were home, they could see what their children were being taught. When they saw the garbage being shoved down their children’s throats, along with any number of other idiocies, they exploded.

I’ve written about how the Teachers unions are now in an all out war with the parents and how the Unions are trying to get the states to basically take control of children away from the parents. That isn’t going to end well.

Moskowitz told host Chuck Todd that he had urged fellow Democrats to support reopening schools, but his advice was ignored.

I was telling my Democratic colleagues like, ‘Guys, read the data.’ Like I would sit at a conference table with the governor,” Moskowitz said.

We’d be reading the data from Denmark and Germany and Europe because they were ahead of us. And it was clear it wasn’t spreading in the schools.”

He recalled warning his colleagues that school reopening would be widely supported by parents.

It was for a number of reasons. The main reason was that parents could see their children struggling. The Teachers Unions were dead set against reopening the schools and if they had there way, the schools would still be closed.

I said to my Democratic colleagues, I’m like, ‘When we open schools, it’s going to be very popular. When you guys come out and tell parents you want to keep their kids in the house for another year, I’m telling you this is where this is going.’ And none of my colleagues wanted to hear it, Chuck,” Moskowitz said.

When asked by Todd if resistance to reopening was influenced by teachers unions, Moskowitz responded, “It’s part teachers union.”

He added that partisan divisions also played a role in Democratic resistance to reopening schools.

Part also, we were at a point of polarization that if DeSantis wanted to open schools then I had to be against it … things had become so toxic at that point,” Moskowitz said.

That tells you how bad things are with the Democrats. The RINO’s and Deep State Uniparty TransRepublicans love to say “We have to have bipartisanship.” Their idea of bipartisanship is give the Democrats whatever they want. This is why so many of the RINO’s are “Retiring.” They’re on track to being blown out in their primaries.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, was one of the earliest critics of prolonged lockdowns, mask mandates, and school closures. Florida began reopening in early May 2020, making it one of the first states to ease restrictions.

And, much to the disgust of the Democrats, there weren’t mass deaths due to the reopening of the state. This brings us to the unions.

The teachers unions were vocal in their opposition to reopening schools. In July 2020, American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten warned that the union would back “safety strikes” if its demands for additional health measures were not met.

That was typical of that little troll. She is quick to resort to threats and blackmail. That will work against Democrats and spineless RINO’s, but they’ve lost most of the parents. Their response was “Go ahead. Make our day. We can replace your members with people who can actually teach and won’t be looking at abusing children.”

In July 2021, she went further, claiming that DeSantis’ position on reopening schools would kill “millions” of people.

As I mentioned before, she was so disappointed when the mass casualties didn’t happen.

Moskowitz’s remarks highlight both the influence of teachers unions during the pandemic and the broader political impact of COVID-19 policy debates in Florida.

I have a suspicion that sometime in the next 5-10 years, you will see a complete collapse of the Teachers Unions. We’ve already seen a few states passing laws that end mandatory union membership for teachers. In those states, even with the flat out obstruction by the unions, the teachers have dropped their membership in droves.

All it will take is the Teachers doing a strike and one city or state standing up to them and saying “Any teacher not back in the classroom will be fired.” When that happens and the Unions start to collapse, the Democrats will see yet another hit to their bottom line. Until then, I think we need to start investigating these unions and how they protect teachers who shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a classroom, and in some cases, should be in jail.

One Response to Democrat admits the truth, they are owned by the Teachers unions

  1. Jon P says:

The NEA and AFT are basically political action committees for the Democrats. They’re deep in each others’ pockets. The unions were chief supporters of BIll Gates’ attempts to “revolutionize education” with Common Core.
