Uwe Boll’s Citizen Vigilente

Good day all. About a week ago, a film by Uwe Boll was released to surprising comments. The movie stars Armie Hammer, who I first saw in the movie Man from Uncle. (Which I actually liked) Hammer ran into the Hollywood Cancel Culture and his career took a hit. Uwe Boll is best known for really low end schlocky B movies based on video games.

This brings us to the movie, Citizen Vigilante, starring Armie Hammer as an American vigilante in Europe. The movie has not been released in theaters and probably never will. It has, however, been banned in Germany due to it’s content. The content is basically a very politically incorrect blast at Europe’s out of control immigrant problems. Here is a synopsis of the movie from Grok:

An American businessman and former U.S. Army officer named Michael Sanders (Hammer) lives in an unnamed European city. He becomes a secretive vigilante known as the “Citizen Vigilante,” targeting criminals (particularly those involved in violent migrant-related crimes) who he believes have escaped justice due to lenient courts and failed institutions. His actions turn him into a social media sensation and folk hero for some, while putting him in direct conflict with law enforcement, especially Interpol chief Henry (Costas Mandylor). The story draws inspiration from real events, such as a 2016 gang-rape case in Hamburg where perpetrators received light sentences.

The film was posted by Elon Musk for a period of 48 hours for free on TwitterX. I actually watched it out of curiosity. It was a fairly standard Uwe Boll production. Not much of a plot, lots of violence and bloodshed, major holes in the story and mediocre production values. It also had something like 10-20 million views.

The movie is now available on assorted streaming platforms to rent or buy including Amazon Prime. It doesn’t appear to be available on physical media, which isn’t surprising. What has happened with this movie is that everyone is talking about it and a lot of people may be paying to watch it.

It has hit a nerve, especially in the EU where people are being treated as second class citizens by their own governments in favor of all of the Third World, primarily Muslims that the elites have allowed into Europe. This is probably why Germany has banned the movie. They are worried that someone might just think that this isn’t a work of fiction, but a training film.

While the libtards in Hollywood won’t give Armie Hammer the time of day, and Uwe Boll is considered a joke among the elites, this is what allowed them to make this film. They have literally no fucks to give. That’s part of why I think the film’s popularity has taken off and everyone is talking about it.

Do I recommend this movie? I’m going to give it a “Meah.” If you like this sort of thing, then sure, plunk down a few dollars and watch it. Just remember to check your brain at the door. I’ll be honest and say if I hadn’t found it on Elon Musk’s TwitterX feed, I would have skipped it. (I know Boll’s work and impressed I have never been)
