50 New Hampshire scientists say Glowbull Worming is real

an interesting title don’t you think? I do since Anger Central is based in the Granite State. This particular item popped up on Right Wing News this morning. I followed the various links and found the originating story at the Union Leader.

The Union Leader story doesn’t have a byline so I can’t give credit where credit is due, but I will quote from it as needed.

From the Union Leader:

A group called Carbon Solutions New England has circulated a petition (pdf) that it says was signed by 50 scientists urging the Republican presidential candidates and all other candidates for public office “to acknowledge the overwhelming balance of evidence for the underlying causes of climate change, to support appropriate responses to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases, and to develop local and statewide strategies to adapt to near-term changes in climate.”

Now I downloaded the petition and looked at the names listed. I also looked at what their degrees were in. I didn’t see a climatologist in the bunch. What I did see was a bunch of ivory towered nitwits who don’t have a clue how the real world works. I have serious doubts whether or not any of them have ever worked in the “Dreaded Private Sector.” ((Term coined by Howie Carr))

Here’s a few of the “Sciences” of the petitioners:

1. Department of Health Management and Policy
2. Department of Civil Engineering
3. Department of Physics
4. Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Biomedical Sciences
5. Hydrologist
6. Department of Sociology
7. MD, MPH, Dartmouth Medical School
8. School of Arts & Sciences
9. Department of Political Science

Now there are some who deal with Earth Sciences, however, I was under the impression that scientists who specialize in the study of the Climate are climatologists, not Political Science majors. There is also a PhD candidate in this group as well. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but the PhD candidate is a scientist in training, isn’t he/she?

Nothing says “We are serious scientists; heed our doomsday predictions!” quite like the overstating of credentials. If they’ll overstate their credentials, then why wouldn’t they overstate the connection between recent weather events and human behavior?

What we are really seeing here is a group of left wing clods trying to shove their discredited religion down the throats of people and get lots and lots of grant money to study a phony baloney issue.

Again, from the Union Leader:

The petition lists recent temperature and weather trends, such as warmer autumns and winters and more storms, and asserts such indisputably rigorous scientific assessments as: “These shifts in New Hampshire’s climate are clearly connected to changes in global climate.”

To respond with equal scientific authority: No, they’re not.

The Global Warming movement, and that is what it actually is, has been pretty much debunked. The emails that were hacked out of the Climate Research Unit ((Climatic Research Unit email controversy)) mail servers a while back showed that a group of so called scientists were suppressing any research that went against the man caused global warming cause.

This fiasco is slowly turning into one of the greatest cases of research fraud in living memory. Literally billions of dollars have been spent on this nonsense and various left wing governments have been using this as a way to rape the taxpayers and move towards the society they want. Government run by the elites with little things like freedom, free enterprise, private property, etc. completely suppressed. Sort of like in places named North Korea, Cuba, etc.

I have little doubt that these “scientists” are all tenured professors. That makes it nearly impossible to fire them. They sit there and preach their religion espouse their views of Man Made Global Warming Climate Change to the young skulls full of mush that are being indoctrinated educated at their parents expense.

Where do these kids end up after 4-8 years of listening to this drivel? These days living in a tent in New York City whining about how they can’t get a job with their degree in political science and how they have 10’s of thousands of dollars in loans they can’t pay.

Frankly they should sue these so called “Institutions for Higher Learning” for fraud. They are never going to find any jobs with degrees like these that will pay enough to pay back the loans and these universities knew this. Hmmm, this sounds like a job for a professional legal shark. I see lots of contingency fees in their futures. 😉

Now, if you haven’t guessed already, I don’t believe in Man Made Global Warming or Climate change. (Notice how they changed the name a few years ago?) Why? Well, as I write this up the space heater in my office just kicked on because it’s FLIPPING COLD OUTSIDE! Last year we had easily 8 FEET of snow. The average is a little over 3 feet.

Do you know what warm weather means? NO HEATING BILLS! It also means a longer growing season for that all important item, FOOD! The Earth is midway between 2 ice ages. We came out of one about 12,000 years ago and will probably go back into one in another 10-15,000 years.

According to the geological records, it was a lot hotter back in the days of the dinosaurs and that was one of the reasons why they grew so fraking big! The Earth will get hotter, and it will get colder. Then, one day, the sun will expand and the Earth will be incinerated. I’m sure, if liberals somehow last that long, they will blame the sun going Nova on corporations, banks and people.

Earth, it's either to cold or to hot. Deal with it
