It’s been a busy day do far, but the big story, the Supreme Court’s ruling on Obama isn’t coming out until Thursday. So as a backup, I’m going to mention a story I just saw regarding convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky.
I haven’t bothered with talking about Sandusky. I don’t follow collage sports and it appeared that he was guilty as sin. (Which a jury just confirmed) In any case, the molester was ordered to prison after the jury said “GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!! Sandusky is just now finding out just how popular child molesters are in prison. (Hint, not very)
Sandusky, on his arrival to the Centre County Correctional Facility was serenaded by the convicts. Here are the fun details from CBS Cleveland:
BELLEFONTE, Pa. (CBS Cleveland)–Jerry Sandusky was reportedly taunted by other inmates in song at the Centre County Correctional Facility when he was housed there this past December.
An inmate who identified himself only as “Josh” told The Daily that he and other prisoners sang well-known lyrics from Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” to Sandusky.
Aww, I’m sure the old pervert was very moved by his new best friends welcome.
“At night, we were singing ‘Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone,’” Josh was quoted as saying.
I can see Jerry now, sitting in his cell, moved to tears at such a warm welcome.
Though Sandusky was held alone in a separate cell reportedly designated for sex offenders and those with mental illnesses, he was still visible to other inmates, who mocked him with their singing when the lights went out for the night, The Daily reported.
Sandusky was placed in the special cell for a reason. Convicts may be the scum of the earth, but they generally have one thing in common. You don’t mess with kids. There is a very good chance Sandusky is going to have a lot of problems with slipping in the shower and following down stairs if/when he is put in the general population.
It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
