Systems news: Playing with ratings

Good morning from the bowels of Hell, more commonly known as the Anger Central Data Center. It is I, the BOFH of Anger Central, coffee in hand and bringing you the latest from under the hood.

You may have noticed that our ratings system changed a bit this morning. I’ve reset the number of Stars from 10 to 5. It just seemed a better fit. Of course, almost no one has actually bothered to rate our small but annoying site, which true to the tenets of Anger Central, MAKES ME  VERY ANGRY!

marvin

The Angry Webmaster hasn’t approved these changes yet, but I’m not to worried. He remembers the last time he disapproved of something I wanted to do. It took him a month for the eyebrows to grow back and to be able to sit normally.

Heheheheheheh

Anyway, comments are open on this, although you will need to register and it will be moderated by me or by that whackjob Webmaster. Once you have been approved you should be able to post comments with no further issues.

Now back to that coffee….

  5. Yeah, for those of you who might have noticed a sudden change with the ratings, blame that egotistical, megalomaniac and computer illiterate twerp for blowing up the ratings system yesterday.
(No, for once we aren’t referring to that jug eared ninny in the Oval office)

I had to basically delete the plugin and purge the database and then rebuild the whole thing. As you might have noticed, all the old scores are missing.

Thanks for all the extra work you %&*@#!%^ jerk!
