Criminal calls 911 on his victim

Good day all. In the list of things stupid criminals do, calling 911 and reporting that the victim of the crime you were perpetrating against him is pretty dumb. But if criminals were smart, they wouldn’t be criminals, would they?

No, they would be politicians. In any case, a criminal called the police to report his victim. Why? The victim pulled a gun on the criminal. Here are the hilarious details from Fox News:

A Texas burglary suspect dialed 911 early Tuesday morning to report that an armed homeowner was threatening to shoot him, MyFoxDFW.com reported.

HEEHEE, HAAHAAHAA! *sniffle* Excuse me. Allow me to continue.

James Gerow, the homeowner, told the station that he awoke and discovered a man wearing a dark hoodie inside his Springtown, Texas home. Springtown is a small city Northwest of Fort Worth.

Gerow grabbed his gun and followed the man out to a truck in his driveway.

With gun in hand, Gerow convinced the man to drop his keys. He told his wife to call 911 and waited for deputies to arrive.

Ok, so far, no problems. Criminal breaks into someone’s house and gets chased out by the armed homeowner. Homeowner, understanding that he didn’t have grounds to put the criminal into the ground, holds him for the police.

Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said the suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Christopher Lance Moore, also called for help while sitting in his pickup truck.

“I’m out in the country somewhere and some guy’s got a gun on me,” he said on the call.

Hmm, seems to me that the criminal neglected to inform the 911 dispatcher that the reason “Some Guy’s got a gun on him” was due to the moron trying to rob his house a few minutes earlier.

When deputies arrived they arrested Moore for burglary of habitation, a second-degree felony.

I’m sure that was after they picked themselves up off the ground after rolling around laughing their nuts off over the situation.

Gerow said while investigators questioned the suspect, Moore admitted he had “bad intentions.”

And no brains to go with his bad intentions either it seems.

“I gave him a chance,” Gerow said. “Had he said he had bad intentions before that, he wouldn’t have got his second chance. That’s a different ballgame. You threaten me and my family, that’s a different ballgame.”

Hmm, maybe he wasn’t quite as stupid as I thought. He seems to have known enough not to give his victim a reason to blow his dumb criminal head off. Well, I’m sure the Texas prison system will out him someplace for a long while where he won’t have to worry about his bad intentions. He will be worrying about something else. Dropping the soap in the shower.
