Cynthia Chase wants to ban freedom

Good day all. For those of you not aware of this, Anger Central is based in New Hampshire. The state is also referred to as the “Granite State,” however, this doesn’t just refer to the geological structure of the state. It also refers to some real prize winning idiots. As in “They have a head made of solid granite.”

In this case, I’m referring to a New Hampshire state representative from New Hampshire’s 8^th district, one Cynthia Chase, Democrat. I first heard about Representative Chase’s remarks on the Rush Limbaugh show. I wasn’t aware of them when she made them. Now, for some background.

There is a movement called the Free State Project. Their goal is an effort to recruit 20,000 liberty-loving people to move to New Hampshire. We are looking for neighborly, productive, tolerant folks from all walks of life, of all ages, creeds, and colors who agree to the political philosophy expressed in our Statement of Intent, that government exists at most to protect people’s rights, and should neither provide for people nor punish them for activities that interfere with no one else. Basically, they want to move enough people into New Hampshire so they can create a more libertarian government. Now there are two styles of libertarians. Those who are minimalists with regards to the size and scope of government, (No more then is absolutely required and authorized by the constitution), and those that are pretty much anarchists. Ron Paul is a libertarian for instance, however his ideas with regards to the borders and national defense border on suicidal. A fair number of his domestic ideas, on the other hand, make sense.

There are several members of the state legislature who are either members of the Free State Project or think the same way they do. From what little I know, I probably agree with most of their agenda. However, our typical Progressive Liberal Democrat Moonbats, (Yep, repeating myself again), absolutely despise the entire concept of “Freedom.” It gets in the way of their telling others how to live their lives.

Representative Chase is such a moonbat. Utterly intolerant of anyone who doesn’t toe her progressive line. Apparently she decided to announce this belief on a blog called “Blue New Hampshire.” Someone wrote up a post regarding the Free State Project and Representative Chase commented on what she would like to do to keep Free Staters out and also force conservatives and libertarian people already her to move out.

Free Staters Unwelcome Here

In the opinion of this Democrat, Free Staters are the single biggest threat the state is facing today. There is, legally, nothing we can do to prevent them from moving here to take over the state, which is their openly stated goal. In this country you can move anywhere you choose and they have that same right. What we can do is to make the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave. One way is to pass measures that will restrict the “freedoms” that they think they will find here. Another is to shine the bright light of publicity on who they are and why they are coming. They can not put their ideology into our statutes unless we elect them in great enough numbers to take over our General Court. We have already seen them try during the last session of the General Court. Our last election was a repudiation of their extremism.

Here in Keene we had a couple show up on Central Square to take part in our weekly Saturday morning peace demonstration. In the course of the conversation they allowed that they were Free Staters considering moving to Keene. The folks on the Square told them in no uncertain terms not to do that because Free Staters are not welcome here. Cheshire County is a welcoming community but not to those whose stated goal is to move in enough ideologues to steal our state, and our way of life.

Ultimately the Free Staters want NH to be a platform state for them to export their views to the rest of the country. Some of these folks dress up pretty well, but if you check their website you will find that they are really wolves in sheep’s clothing. The best strategy from my perspective is to keep shining a light on their views and activities and make it very plain that NH is not up for sale to any ideology.  To ignore these people and hope they go away is a recipe for disaster.

Spoken like a typical totalitarian moonbat. New Hampshire is having a few difficulties, almost all of them laid at the feet of Democrat who moved up here from Massachusetts. They came up here to “Escape the high taxes” and when they got here promptly started demanding that they get the same things they used to have in Massachusetts.

In 2010, the New Hampshire legislature flipped big time, primarily due to the Tea Party. The house flipped back this time although the Senate remained Republican. A number of people think this was due to the up ticket effect of Il Douche, Barack Obama. I suspect it will flip back in 2014, provided we actually have an election.

One of the things New Hampshire doesn’t have, and that the Progressives would love to impose, is a state income tax and a state sales tax. New Hampshire is noted for not having either. We do pay for it, with fairly steep property taxes. We also have minimal gun control laws here, another thing that drives the moonbats to insane levels of barking.

Cynthia Chase represents the Keene NH area. This is also the home of Keene State, one of our state collages. As we all know, universities are hotbeds of Progressive totalitarianism and these clods also get to vote. (I don’t have a problem with the students who live and grew up here, I do have one with the transients) It’s no surprise that they elect moonbats.

Now if you want to see exploding moonbat craniums, just ask them why they hate freedom so much? Is it that they prefer being property of the state, and that they have no problems with the state disposing of it’s property any way it sees fit? They will no doubt start spluttering at that point and promptly fall back to their standard responses of “You hater!” “You Racist!” Just keep throwing logic at them and with a little luck, they will have a stroke. *evil grin*
